Hi,I'm Ece. I started pet sitting in Amsterdam 7 years ago because I was missing my dog in Istanbul. In 7 years I took care of more than 50 pets. I love taking care of other pets because they brigten up my day and make me miss my own dog a bit less (if that's even possible!). I live right next to the Oosterpark so our days are full of walks. Mijn vriend en ik zijn beide opgegroeid met een hond en dat vonden we geweldig! Daarom passen wij nu ook graag op de hond van onze ouders. Wij gaan dan wandelen in parken of naar het strand. Onze ouders wonen echter ver weg en wij willen erg graag frequenter oppassen. Een eigen hond kopen komt nog nét te vroeg. De voorkeur gaat uit naar honden die lief zijn, geaaid willen worden, een blok om willen, willen spelen of een combinatie daarvan. De grote van de hond maakt voor ons niet uit. Wij willen met name oppassen in het weekend zodat we allebei tijd hebben of anders tijd kunnen maken!

As a free-lancer/self-employed artist, my schedule is very flexible and varies a lot depending on the job contracts, offers, auditions I get. This is a good thing; it means I am free quite often, but it also means that my availability can change from time to time, randomly, as I am not always aware of when I will get an offer! Ever since I can remember, I have always had good relationships with animals. Whether it is a street dog, a wild parakeet or a grumpy cat - I make it my passion to respect them and give them the life they deserve. Growing up, I volunteer at dog shelters, helped rehabilitate reactive dogs and worked at veterinary clinics thinking I would one day become a vet. I graduated with a major in animal physiology but things didn't go as planned and I ended up in a design job! Gek op honden, lief, betrouwbaar en professioneel!

Ik woon in de buurt van 2 parken en ik vind het leuk om verschillende wandelingen te maken. Af en toe naar het bos, dat is ook heerlijk! Ik laat de honden zeker 3 x per dag uit en zorg dat ze lekker kunnen rennen en spelen. Knuffelen is ook noodzakelijk, tenminste als de hond daarvan houdt natuurlijk. Als het zomer is, is de kans groot dat ik overdag extra lang met de honden buiten ben, of een keer naar het strand ga of een andere plek in de natuur. Ik heb veel ervaring met allerlei soorten honden en ik heb ook diverse opleidingen gedaan (kynologisch instructeur en gedragstherapie). Honden voelen zich snel op hun gemak bij mij.

Een warme thuis voor jouw hond of kat 💕

Ik ben een echte dierenliefhebber! Helaas kan ik momenteel zelf geen dier adopteren omdat ik te veel reis. Dat vind ik ontzettend jammer, dus daarom lijkt het me heel leuk om af en toe op iemand anders zijn hond of kat te passen. Van huis uit heb ik altijd dieren gehad, waaronder een Duitse herder, een rottweiler, een Maltezer en meerdere katten. Daardoor ben ik gewend aan verschillende karakters en behoeften. Daarnaast pas ik regelmatig op de hond van mijn zus, een rescue uit Spanje. Ik werk voor mezelf vanuit huis, waardoor ik veel aanwezig ben. Dat maakt mijn huis ook geschikt voor diertjes die niet zo graag lang alleen zijn. Ik houd zowel van korte als lange wandelingen en neem honden, afhankelijk van hun karakter, graag mee op pad. Natuurlijk is er thuis ook genoeg tijd om te spelen, knuffelen of gewoon lekker te ontspannen. Daarnaast heb ik een fijn tuintje waar honden en katten lekker kunnen relaxen als het mooi weer is. Mensen omschrijven mij als rustig, warm en zorgzaam. Wat je van mij kunt verwachten? Veel liefde en aandacht voor je dier, regelmatige updates en foto’s, en de geruststelling dat je huisdier in goede handen is. Ik plan vooraf altijd graag even een kennismaking in, zodat we kunnen kijken of er een goede match is. Voor de rest woon ik op 40m² met een tuin, dus voor hele grote honden is mijn woning waarschijnlijk minder geschikt. Goed om te weten: omdat ik op de begane grond woon, hoor je soms geluiden uit het trappenhuis. Daarom is mijn woning minder geschikt voor honden die erg waaks zijn of snel aanslaan bij geluiden. Voor vragen mag je altijd contact opnemen! 🐾

Shamira took really good care of Henri. He had plenty of exercise, was very well looked after, and came back home happy and relaxed. She also sent us daily updates with pictures and videos, which was really nice and reassuring. We would definitely recommend her!

Whenever I see a dog, any dog - I think of Yara immediately. My first reaction is to grab my phone and film the dog I have juste seen, and send it to her. That is the kind of power she has over me. Even amongst my group of friends, it is a given that no one loves their dog more than Yara loves hers. She has great patience and care for animals, even more so when it comes to her own dog, Blondie. Yara will immediately notice when something is wrong with Blondie, and always knows what to do. She never uses violence, ever, and has a solution for all of Blondie's tantrums. She celebrates Blondie's birthdays, and knows by heart of all her dog's habits and ticks. She is overall an amazing owner and whenever I will be thinking of adopting a dog, I will definitely go to her for advice. Yara basically grew up with Blondie, which means she learned how to take care of a dog while also learning how to read and write. It is definitely an advantage!

Ik vind het geweldig om op huisdieren te passen!

Ik vind het ontzettend leuk om op huisdieren te passen en ervoor te zorgen dat ze zich veilig, geliefd en comfortabel voelen. Ik heb ervaring met het oppassen op honden en vind het heerlijk om met ze te wandelen, te spelen en ze veel aandacht te geven. Daarnaast werk ik bij een hondenopvang, waar ik dagelijks met veel verschillende honden te maken heb. Hierdoor heb ik ervaring met verschillende rassen, groottes en karakters. Ik ben verantwoordelijk, geduldig en zorgzaam. Ik pas het liefst op lieve en sociale honden en katten, maar sta ook open voor dieren die wat extra aandacht nodig hebben.

Ik ben heel blij met Willemijn & family. Leo was vandaag voor het eerst. Nog weinig mensen gewend. Ze hebben hem met zoveel aandacht en liefde omringd. Hem én mij geholpen hem verder te socialiseren als adoptiehondje. Zo een geruststelling. Heel veel dank.

I believe pet owners will appreciate my extensive experience with dogs and cats, as well as my dedication, patience and empathy. Since I was a little kid, I have been dealing with both dogs and cats. Currently in my parents home we have 1 golden labrador, 1 maltese and 1 border collie. In the past we had various cats and also 1 labrador that sadly passed away last year with almost 10 years old. During my upbringing, I always had dogs around me. The first dog was named Murphy who was an Irish Glen of Imaal Terrier. My parents current dog is a Cobberdog named Charlie. She got 8 puppies last year, which was an amazing experience! Since living on my own, I've missed having a happy four-legged friend by my side. My appartment is situated in a calm area at NDSM. There are two big parks rather closeby, so there is lots of possibilities to go on nice walks. The living area of the appartment is big, comfortable and safe for your dog to stay. Toen ik 13 jaar geleden nog in zuid afrika woonde had ik een hond, mijn man had ook voordat wij getrouwd waren.ongeveer 3 jaar geleden hadden wij ook nog een hond in England maar die moest helaas weg omdat wij naar nederland verhuisden.
