(Engelse) hondenbezitter voor 30 jaar

(Note - We speak a little Dutch, but English is our first language!) We zijn al meer dan 25 jaar hondenbezitters en al die honden zijn reddingshonden geweest, dus we zouden in staat moeten zijn om voor honden te zorgen die speciale overwegingen hebben. Ik werk vanuit huis zodat uw hond niet alleen in huis hoeft te blijven. We hebben zelf een hond (mopshond / terriër mix), maar we zullen voorzichtig zijn bij het introduceren van uw hond om er zeker van te zijn dat ze samen gelukkig zijn. Scheiding is mogelijk als dat nodig is of de voorkeur heeft. Ik heb ervaring met verschillende honden van alle groottes. Al mijn persoonlijke honden zijn reddingshonden geweest, dus als uw hond speciale vereisten heeft, kunnen we ze meestal onderbrengen! We hebben een elf jaar oude Pug / West Highland Terrier-kruising. Zijn naam is Buddy.

[English version below] Wij (mijn man, een zoon uit 2008 en een dochter uit 2011 en ik) vangen graag uw hond(en) en katten op. Omdat we geen dieren van verschillende baasjes opvangen is uw hond of kat verzekerd van een behandeling op maat. We kunnen ons aanpassen zoals uw dier het thuis gewend is, zodat de overgang minder groot wordt. Verder is het goed om te weten dat ik honden uitsluitend aangelijnd uitlaat. Ik heb mijn hele leven lang katten gehad en we hebben ook ervaring met wat minder sociale 'boerderij' katten. Honden hebben we zelf nooit gehad. We hebben sinds 2018 al op meer dan 100 verschillende honden gepast: 1 groot feest :) Ik heb verschillende boeken gelezen over hondengedrag/lichaamstaal en hoe een hond gelukkig te maken. We hebben diverse hondenspeelgoed, knuffels, voer- en waterbakken in huis. Ik werk zelf parttime freelance vanuit huis en heb alle tijd om uw dier de aandacht te geven die hij of zij verdiend! In 2023 zijn we naar Saendelft (Assendelft) verhuisd, waar het heerlijk wandelen is met honden. De wijk wordt omzoomd door een dijk waar verder geen verkeer is en dus naar hartenlust gesnuffeld kan worden. Daar neem ik dan ook graag de tijd voor! ;) In 2026 heb ik de cursus EHBO voor huisdieren met goed gevolg afgrond. Hierdoor ben ik staat om: * Vermoedelijke botbreuken bij huisdieren te herkennen en hier correct op te reageren * Teken te voorkomen, verwijderen en de risico's in te schatten * Ogen veilig uit uitspoelen bij lichte oogirritaties * Kleine oorbeschadigingen te behandelen en een tijdelijk verband aan te brengen * Een tourniquet te gebruiken om ernstige bloedingen te stoppen * Een geïmproviseerde muilkorf voor een hond te maken * Een tijdelijk pootverband aan te leggen * Een klinisch onderzoek uit te voeren Let op: we passen niet op honden jonger dan 1 jaar, op zogenaamde hoog risico honden, wel ben ik bereid om deze honden uit te laten. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We (my husband, a son born in 2008, a daughter born in 2011, and I) are happy to look after your dog(s) and cat(s). Because we do not care for animals from different owners, your dog or cat is assured of personalized care. We can adapt to what your pet is used to at home, so that the transition is less abrupt. Furthermore, it is good to know that I only walk dogs on a leash. I have had cats my entire life, and we also have experience with less social 'farm' cats. We have never owned dogs ourselves. Since 2018, we have looked after over 100 different dogs: one big party :) I have read various books on dog behavior/body language and how to make a dog happy. We have various dog toys, plush toys, and food and water bowls in the house. I work part-time freelance from home and have all the time to give your animal the attention he or she deserves! In 2023, we moved to Saendelft (Assendelft), where it is wonderful to walk dogs. The neighborhood is bordered by a dike with no traffic, so dogs can sniff around to their heart's content. I am happy to take the time for that! ;) In 2026, I successfully completed the First Aid course for pets. This enables me to: * Recognize suspected bone fractures in pets and respond correctly * Prevent and remove ticks and assess the risks * Safely rinse eyes in case of minor eye irritation * Treat minor ear injuries and apply a temporary bandage * Use a tourniquet to stop severe bleeding * Make an improvised muzzle for a dog * Apply a temporary paw bandage * Perform a clinical examination Please note: we do not sit dogs younger than 1 year old, or so-called high-risk dogs; however, I am willing to walk these dogs.

jouw hond in goede handen

Bij mij is jouw hond in goede handen. Van kinds af aan was ik dol op honden. Maar mijn ouders dachten daar anders over. Dus paste ik met veel plezier op honden van buurtgenoten. En zodra het kon, heb ik zelf een hond geadopteerd.. Jouw hond krijgt hier persoonlijke aandacht en alle ruimte om hond te zijn. En een fijne plek om uitgelaten te worden rondom de spiegelplas. Bijna elk weekend ga ik naar bos, heide of strand om te wandelen. jouw hond neem ik dan graag mee. Naast mij, kan je hond rekenen op gezelschap van mijn hondje Diva, die met bijna iedereen vriendjes wil worden. Het is niet altijd liefde op het eerste gezicht, maar ze kan met vrijwel alle honden goed overweg. Ik wil met alle liefde jouw hond een fijne tijd bezorgen. De enige voorwaarde is dat je hond niet overmatig blaft, vriendelijk is, met mijn hondje overweg kan en zindelijk is. En even alleen, samen met Diva, kan zijn. Ik ben redelijk flexibel omdat ik regelmatig thuiswerk. Ik ben geen ochtendmens en mijn dag start dan ook liever niet eerder dan 8.30 uur s’morgens. ophalen bij voorkeur tussen 17 en 18 uur. maar zowel breng als haatijd is altijd bespreekbaar. Ik vang maximaal 2 honden op. In onderling overleg is daar wellicht een mouw aan te passen. Ik let er daarbij vooral op dat honden met elkaar overweg kunnen. Verder boek ik liever niet verder dan drie maanden vooruit. Dit om te voorkomen dat ik moet afzeggen in verband met werk of omdat ik vakantie wil nemen. ik boek namelijk mijn vakanties bijna altijd kort van tevoren. En mijn werk gaat voor

Wij zijn Jip (28) en Cleo (26), we zijn allebei al sinds jonge leeftijd opgegroeid met honden. Hierdoor hebben we jarenlang ervaring met het uitlaten van honden, voldoende aandacht geven. Lange wandelingen vinden wij heerlijk en we zorgen ervoor dat elke hond die bij ons is voldoende beweging krijgt. Willem de Weimaraner gaat geregeld naar Cleo & Jip en hij gaat altijd met kwispelend staartje! Lekker op pad naar het Erasmuspark of lekker knuffelen in huis. Ik zou Cleo & Jip van harte aanbevelen. Mijn hond laat ik met gerust hart achter.

[english below] Hoi, ik ben Hanna! Wonend in Amsterdam Oost, vlakbij Amstelstation (goed bereikbaar met zowel OV als ook auto + lift aanwezig in het gebouw). Ik ben opgegroeid met katten, een hond dat uit een asiel is geadopteerd (labrador x stabij) en daarna een border collie x australian shepherd. Zelf heb ik ook kort voor een rescue gezorgd, helaas is deze niet meer bij mij. Ik zou daarom graag weer vaker op honden passen. Wandelen en hardlopen doe ik in m'n vrije tijd al best veel of graag, maar liever samen met een hond (hardlopen met de hond zou in overleg zijn / afhankelijk van of de hond daar behoefte aan heeft). Ik vind het ook heel leuk om te helpen met het trainen, te begeleiden bij hersenwerkjes/puzzels etc. Ik plan graag een kennismaking met jou en je hond(en) in om alles te bespreken. Een proef dag, middag, of overnachting is ook altijd mogelijk. Ik heb tevens (niet in die zin gekwalificeerd of professioneel, maar wel persoonlijke) ervaring met de wat ‘lastigere’ honden en deze zijn in principe en vooral in overleg ook welkom. Het aannemen van meerdere honden van verschillende baasjes gedurende dezelfde periode zal altijd in overleg zijn en ik heb zelf ook de voorkeur om de honden vooraf met elkaar kennis te laten maken. I grew up with cats and dogs, and also have looked after a rescue dog for a while who sadly is not with me anymore. I'm excited to look after dogs again more often. I also really enjoy teaching dogs new things or guiding them with puzzles, brainwork etc. I’m looking forward to plan a meet and greet with you and your dog(s) to discuss whatever is necessary. A trial day or night is also always possible. I also have some experience (not in that sense qualified or professional, but personal experience) with behaviorrally challenged dogs, which are also welcome but that obviously would require a discussion to see how and what the dog needs / to what extent. Accepting multiple dogs from different owners during the same period will only happen in discussion with the owners and will require a meeting between the dogs beforehand.

Onze 2 husky’s, gunna en Odin, gaan inmiddels al langere tijd met heel veel plezier naar Hannah. Afgelopen maand zijn wij een maand op vakantie geweest en hebben de honden ruim drie weken bij haar verbleven. Het is echt ontzettend goed gegaan. Hannah zorgt supergoed voor ze. Ze wandelt veel met ze, houdt rekening met wat ze nodig hebben en zorgt ervoor dat ze zowel fysiek als mentaal genoeg uitdaging en aandacht krijgen. We kregen iedere dag fijne updates, waardoor we met een heel gerust gevoel op reis konden zijn. Ze is ontzettend lief, zorgzaam en voorzichtig met de honden en je merkt aan alles dat ze echt om ze geeft. Gunna en Odin zijn helemaal gek op haar en voelen zich duidelijk heel erg op hun gemak bij haar. We hadden ons geen betere oppas kunnen wensen en zouden Hannah zonder twijfel aan iedereen aanraden. Onze honden blijven absoluut bij haar terugkomen!

Liefdevolle en huiselijke oppassers voor honden

Samen met mijn vriend zorg ik met veel liefde en aandacht voor honden. Hij heeft als kind zelf honden gehad en we passen regelmatig op honden van vrienden, waardoor we gewend zijn aan verschillende rassen en karakters. We wonen in een appartement vlakbij een park, met voldoende tijd en gelegenheid om dagelijks meerdere wandelingen te maken. We have years of dog-sitting experience. We also fostered a rescue dog ourselves. We will take care of your dogs as our own. Giving them the care, play and chill time they need. We both work hybrid, so most of the times there will be one of us at home. Due to circumstances we cannot own our dog ourselves. Therefore we would like to dog-sit instead. Pet Island is open!

Hoi! We are Nick and Lili. We speak Dutch, English, French, Spanish and Portuguese in both human and dog language ;) We live on a peaceful island on the border of Zaandam, in a special place close to the Zaanse Schans and the Natural Reserve Area of Kalverpolder, near Amsterdam. Although we don’t have our own dogs, we love animals, and are lucky to have a fun "fauna" here already: from a turtle that visits from time to time to all kinds of waterfowl. Our 'dogiculum': Nick was brought up in France and Spain, raised with a lot of Irish Setters. Lili, growing up in Brazil made her very familiar with all types of street and rescue dogs. After more than 3 years as dog sitters, we have the experience of over 100 happy clients. It has been an educational journey for us learning about dogs, their various quirks and and getting to know so many different dogs and becoming a part of their lives. We now believe dogs have a unique experience here, as they can exist in near total freedom, in a pack, playing, foraging, chilling or even sleeping together, and with our near constant near-presence. That's how we reached progressively this “spa-like” bubble environment, where dogs can socialize and/or relax at their will. If we have only one guest, they stay with us in the main house of course. Some extra info: . Our island has 3 main buildings, one of them is the guesthouse transformed into a doggyhouse. It’s surrounded by a big 'foresty garden’ and the super clean air. They have a fenced and safe area at their disposition for playing and lounging outside. . As we both work from home, we have lots of time and love for our guests, and so they are usually supervised 24/7. . Walks are included as they have access to the garden whenever we go walking throughout the island's interwoven paths. . We do not take dogs that are either too anxious, protective or aggressive (ie. A home away from home

I’m from India and have been in Amsterdam for a couple of years now. I’ve had dogs (Irish setters) all my life and lost my most precious boy (Casper) in 2021. I’ve had the most beautiful journey of 11 years with my sweet Casper. Through these years, I’ve always wished to take Casper along in my travels but it was not always possible. Now that I’m away from home and miss the biggest part of having the company of a dog, I decided to set up a this account to help pet parents travel stress free and have the confidence that their pet is in good hands. With all that being said, it is obvious that I love dogs and get along with them really well. I’ve had experience with puppies, teenage dogs, senior dogs and each phase is precious in it’s own way so I’m not particular in the phase that they are currently at. All of them are welcome! I’m originally from Taiwan and moved to Amsterdam in 2022. I currently live with my Dutch partner in a one-bedroom cozy spacious apartment, and we both love animals! We work/study from home most of the time, so we’d love to have some furry company—and offer your dog a warm, calm environment with plenty of attention. Being a pet sitter lets me share my love for animals while giving them the care and companionship they need when you’re away. - *Ik maak graag foto’s, dus ik zal de leuke momenten met je delen ;)* *Ik ben meestal thuis met mijn partner, dus je lieveling zal zich zeker niet vervelen!* Even voorstellen: Hoi, ik ben Ting! Ik kom oorspronkelijk uit Taiwan en ben in 2022 naar Amsterdam verhuisd. Ik woon samen met mijn Nederlandse partner in een gezellige en ruime eenkamerappartement, en we zijn allebei dol op dieren! We werken/studeren meestal vanuit huis, dus we vinden het heerlijk om gezelschap van een viervoeter te hebben—en bieden je hond een warme, rustige omgeving met veel aandacht. Als dierenoppas kan ik mijn liefde voor dieren delen en ze de zorg en het gezelschap geven die ze verdienen als jij er even niet bent.

Ting took good care of my dog Max. She kept me updated with the pics and videos all the time which gave me great peace of mind. It was clear that my boy is happy with her. I highly recommend Ting!

Diemens Paradise

We always had dogs in our family growing up. Now me and my husband have a 3 year old Labrador that we love and care since baby. We have 2 children that absolute loves being around animals. Our neighbours cats can approve that… 😅 We always took care of friends dogs and cats (before having our own dog since she is not such a cat fan. I even had a bunny (is one good pet too, very caring and loving..)! Now with this profile we want to share all this love with other dogs and since we too have one, they have a friend to play while staying with us!

Such lovely people. Both Jacqueline and Marlon took great care of our senior dog. I will recommend them to anyone looking for reliable & kind people.
