(English below) Katten- of hondenmens? Ik ben het allebei! Hoi! Ik ben Sterre, ik ben 33 jaar oud. Ik ben op zoek naar een viervoetermaatje. Of dat nu in de vorm van een kat of een hond is, maakt mij niet veel uit. Ik vind beide dieren leuk! In mijn ouderlijk huis ben ik opgegroeid in een gezellige beestenbende. We hadden een hond (recent: Heidewachtel, vroeger: Vlinderhondje), 4 katten, konijnen, kippen en cavia’s. Ik heb zelf één van onze honden opgevoed en ik ben ermee op cursus gegaan (de Heidewachtel, een jachtras). Onze poes is tweemaal zwanger geweest, waarvan ze één nestje heeft verworpen. Deze kittens heb ik toen ook verzorgd en gevoed. Kortom: ik ben praktisch opgegroeid als dierenverzorger. Later, als uitgevlogen vogel uit het ouderlijk nest, had ik helaas geen mogelijkheid tot huisdieren ivm verbod door huisbaas. Gelukkig kan ik af en toe oppassen op de katten van mijn ouders en de kat en Appenzeller Sennenhond van een vriendin. Maar ik mis de regelmatige, dierlijke connectie enorm. Honden en katten maken mij blij en ik merk de connectie met ze. Zij voelen dat bij mij aan, vaak lopen honden uit zichzelf vrolijk op mij af om hallo te zeggen en te snuffelen. Ik kan het dan natuurlijk niet weerstaan om even een aai over zijn/haar bol te geven. Met katten weet ik heel goed te herkennen wanneer zij aandacht willen en wanneer zij hun eigen ding willen doen. Ik woon dichtbij het Haagse Bos en vind het heerlijk om met een hond door het bos te wandelen. Doordeweeks werk ik, maar ik mag van mijn werkgever veel thuiswerken. Mijn werk kan ik overal waar WiFi is uitvoeren, dus ook bij jouw huisdier. Tussendoor en tegelijk met mijn werkzaamheden kan ik je hond uitlaten, met je hond/kat spelen en aandacht geven. Mijn kantoorrooster is zodanig flexibel dat ik bijvoorbeeld elke maandag voor je geliefde huisdier kan zorgen. We kunnen hier uiteraard goed contact over hebben wat jouw wensen zijn! Ze was na het logeren bij Annelotte ook nog erg moe en heeft overdag nog heerlijk geslapen thuis wat Annelotte aan gaf dat ze vaak de bal moest gooien twijfel ik geen moment aan. Dankjewel voor het oppassen op Luna en het geduld wat je voor haar hebt gezien ze nog een zeer energieke pup is.

Ik bied liefdevolle huisbezoeken aan voor honden, katten, konijnen en andere huisdieren; zelfs kleine boerderijdieren. Tijdens mijn bezoek van ongeveer 30 minuten geef ik jouw dieren eten, vers water, aandacht en verzorging. Mocht het om een wandeling met de hond gaan, hoort daar natuurlijk ook een leuke wandeling van een half uurtje bij, afgestemd op hun tempo en energie. Ik vind het belangrijk dat elk dier zich veilig en ontspannen voelt, ook als het baasje even niet thuis is. Of het nu gaat om een knuffel, een speelmoment of gewoon rustig gezelschap; ik zorg met veel geduld en liefde voor elk dier. Ik dien geen medicijnen toe, maar zorg er wel voor dat alles netjes en volgens jouw instructies verloopt. De duur van mijn huisbezoek hangt af van het aantal dieren, maar bedraagt in de basis ongeveer 30 minuten. Betrouwbaar, rustig en diergericht; zo kun jij met een gerust hart van huis, wetend dat jouw dieren in goede handen zijn.

A loving home and a genuine care for every paw

Hi, I'm Carla! Animals have always had a very special place in my life. Being around them makes me genuinely happy, and becoming a pet sitter is a way for me to spend more time doing something that truly fulfils me. My inspiration One of the biggest reasons behind this step is Zara, my American Bulldog. She was sweet, gentle and incredibly sociable, although, like the great lady she was , she could also be a little temperamental and selective! Zara taught me so much about respecting an animal's individual personality, needs and boundaries. When she passed away in October 2025, she left a huge space in my life. Her loss also made me realise how much being around animals means to me. It gave me an even stronger desire to spend my time caring for, learning from and simply being close to other animals. In many ways, becoming a pet sitter is my way of following that feeling. Our family and home I live with my husband and my teenage son, who both love animals just as much as I do and have been incredibly supportive of me taking this step. We also share our home with Bully, an American bully size pocket, a very special member of our family. I believe it's important to be completely transparent: we have a dog living in our home. For this reason, every dog staying with us will be carefully introduced and assessed beforehand to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. I don't want to fill my home with as many dogs as possible. I prefer to offer a calm, loving family environment where every dog receives individual attention and care. A garden to play, relax and simply be a dog We have a large garden where dogs can enjoy the outdoors, play, explore and have some freedom. My garden is completely enclosed and secure, with mostly grass, giving dogs plenty of space to relax, explore and enjoy some outdoor time. I also enjoy providing mental enrichment activities, adapted to each dog's personality and needs. After all, keeping their minds active can be just as important or more then physical exercise! And of course, sometimes the best activity is doing absolutely nothing just simply relaxing on the grass and enjoying a little sun, when the Dutch weather allows it! Above all, I value the safety of every dog in my care. Our garden has been prepared with this in mind, so dogs can enjoy their time outside in a safe environment. My experience All my life i had contact with animals like dogs, cats, birds and even a very naughty parrot. How I can help Loving home boarding for dogs, following a prior introduction Doggy day care Pet sitting and companionship Dog walks I enjoy taking dogs on calm walks through quite green surroundings, with canals and open spaces nearby. Every dog on my care will have 3 walks per day at least. There are also designated areas where dogs can safety enjoy some off- leash time. For safety reasons, i prefer to keep dogs on a leash during walks. The length of each walk depends on the will, energy and how much dog is having fun but in general, each walk lasts around 30 minutes, giving the dog a calm, relaxed moment. Home visits Feeding according to your pet's routine. Medication administration when clearly instructed. Can be daily skin care routine, pills or another type of medication. Playtime and mental enrichment Basic hygiene care. For over night stays, I have comfortable beds and crates available if necessary, depending on each dog's needs and what they are used to. Regular photo and video updates, ALWAYS For cats: Unfortunately, I can't host cats in my home because we have Bully, but I would be very happy to care for them in the comfort and familiarity of their own home. What matters most to me I know how difficult it can be to leave our pets in someone else's care. They are not "just animals", they are family. That's why I like to get to know every pet before caring for them. I want to understand their personality, routine, likes, dislikes and individual needs. I highly recommend Carla Alao as a pet caregiver. She absolutely loves animals and has a natural, deeply affectionate way of bonding with them. She is incredibly gentle, patient, and understanding, always putting the animal’s comfort and well-being first. Besides her loving nature, she is extremely responsible and trustworthy. Any pet owner on Petbnb would be lucky to have her looking after their family pet!

Flexibele dierenoppas

Hii, ik ben Pien! Vanaf dat ik klein was, draaide ons huis om dieren: poezen, ratjes, parkieten, vissen, hamsters en oppashonden. Er was altijd leven in huis – en dat vond ik geweldig. Tegenwoordig pas ik met veel plezier op katten, honden (en alles daartussenin). Dat doe ik met veel aandacht, rust, knuffels, én leuke foto-updates – want ik fotografeer graag. Ik werk een paar dagen in de week op een woongroep voor studenten met autisme en neem af en toe mijn vaste oppashondjes mee naar werk – een gezellig plek waar ze tot rust kunnen komen én wat extra aandacht krijgen. Buiten mijn werk om pas ik graag op in de avonden, weekenden of kindervakanties. Stuur me gerust een berichtje. Ik kijk ernaar uit jullie te ontmoeten!

Bo heeft een hele leuke tijd gehad met Pien! Wij zullen haar zeker vaker langsbrengen als we een oppas nodig hebbeb :)

Hoi! Ik ben Fleur, 25 jaar en kom uit Den Haag. Ik werk parttime (veel thuis) en speel in mijn vrije tijd rugby. Sinds mijn eerste kat, ben ik een echte kattenliefhebber geworden. Toen ik nog thuis woonde heb ik sinds mijn 8e altijd katten gehad.
