Betrouwbare en gezellige dierenvriend

Ik ben een enthousiaste dierenliefhebber die het gezellig vindt omringd te zijn met dieren. Bovendien houd van de natuur, wandelen en bewegen en doe ik dit het liefst samen met een of meerdere hondjes. Katten vind ik ook mega gezellig en leuk om mee te knuffelen of spelen (als ze me goedkeuren ;)). Ik heb oppaservaring met verschillende katten: van oude katten tot piepkleine kittens en van binnen- tot buitenkatten. Zelf heb ik altijd katten gehad, nu nog eentje, een hele gezellige oude binnenkat die lekker z'n eigen gang gaat. Ook pas ik geregeld op de honden van vrienden of van mijn ouders. Dog lover with years of experience

I had lots of shelter dogs and one ex laboratory beagle. All of them had their own backpacks and needed a warm and loving house so they could grew old in peace. One of my dogs had epilepsy so he needed medication, another one needed specialised food so I know how to deal with that. My last dog passed away a year ago and I miss having a dog badly so hence this profile. I have a very kind and loving character and I’m super patient when it comes to dealing with a dog that has some particularities. I work from home so I’m super flexible and can’t wait to have some nice long walks again.

Ilse was great and very friendly. Our dog was very comfortable around her. However we had to end terms with her 2 days before because there were lot of fire crackers in Amsterdam and our dog was very scared. Not a great place for dogs during new years. Otherwise Ilse is great:slight_smile:

Wij passen met het gezin (twee volwassenen en twee pubers) al jaren op honden en poezen van vrienden en bekenden uit de buurt en zorgen met alle liefde ook voor jouw huisdier, hond en of poes. Het liefst gaan we met de hond wandelen in het park, dat kan zijn in het Vondelpark, Westerpark, Sarphathiepark of welk ander park dan ook om heerlijk te kunnen spelen met n bal of iets anders waar de hond dol op is. We houden ervan om samen op pad te zijn maar ook een heerlijke knuffel op zijn tijd vinden we ook belangrijk.

Aanbeveling

Toen ik op vakantie was heeft Mayke een hele maand op mijn kat Tommie gepast. Ik had niet het idee toen ik hem ophaalde dat hij ook weg wilde ;-) Mayke stuurde elke dag lieve foto’s door en hield me goed op de hoogte. Echt heel erg bedankt Mayke!

Since the day I was born, I have always lived with an animal. I have cared for many different animals, including cats, dogs, rabbits, budgies, fish, turtles, parrots, and hamsters. I recently moved here from abroad, and to ease the longing I feel for my dogs, I wanted to help take care of someone else’s pet and look after them. Unfortunately, I couldn’t bring my dogs with me because they are large and live with my mom in a house with a big garden. I have experience with animals that are in difficult situations, including dogs that are anxious, aggressive, or depressed. My own dog was one of them—he had a challenging temperament, but over the years, with patience and care, he became much calmer. Hi! I’m a second-year political science student with a big love for animals and lots of experience in caring for them. While my own two dogs—a calm and sweet 9-year-old brown Labrador and a velcro-dog 2-year-old Chihuahua—are currently back home in France with my family, I’ve been surrounded by pets most of my life. I also spent six years abroad when I was younger, where I had eight rabbits, and I’ve looked after cats and dogs of all kinds, including terriers and a Golden Retriever. Here in Amsterdam, I live with roommates who have pets of their own back home; a cat and two Chihuahuas. So we're all used to caring for animals. I’m used to animals with different personalities, and I especially love spending time with affectionate, velcro-type dogs who like to stick close and get plenty of attention. I’m also happy to play, cuddle, or just be a calming presence for older pets. We live just a two-minute walk from Oosterpark, which is perfect for regular walks and playtime if your dog needs a lot of outside time. There’s almost always someone home, so your pet will rarely be alone and I can guarantee will get plenty of love and attention throughout the day. I can also help with oral medication if your dog needs it mixed into food, as I've done this with my Labrador. One thing to note however, our apartment is on the second floor with typical Amsterdam stairs. Most dogs manage just fine, but if your animal has mobility issues, it’s something to consider. I’m available any time and happy to help, whether it’s for a weekend, a longer stay, or a last-minute booking. Your pet will be cared for in a friendly, safe, and relaxed environment where we'll make sure they'll feel right at home!
