I grew up surrounded by animals, especially cats and dogs, and have always loved spending time with them, whether going for walks, playing or simply cuddling. I have a playful Labrador of my own, so I am used to plenty of energy, games and affection! Back home, I also regularly took care of cats in my neighbourhood, making sure they were happy, comfortable and well looked after. I am a patient, caring and responsible person who genuinely enjoys being around animals. I always try to understand each pet’s personality and respect their individual needs and routines. Hey there, I'm Eva, an expat who has been living in Amsterdam for over 10 years. I live at the Westerpark area (close to Nassaukade tram stop) and I work primarily from home. I really miss is having pets, as I grew up with dogs and various other animals, many of which were strays or rescued from shelters. During the beginning of the pandemic, I brought a senior dog in need from abroad, whom I fostered for nearly a year. This experience woke up my desire to share my life with furry companions! Amrita has took great care of our dog! She is a really nice and kind person with a genuine interest for the dogs. Karmen,our dog, immediately liked her and she was really enjoying her time with Amrita. I appreciated the communication style of Amrita, who was sharing with me everyday multiple videos and photos of Karmen, this was really helpful as this has been the first time we leave our dog to a petsitter. Lastly, Karmen is an elderly dog with medical needs and specific dietary and Amrita cooperated outstanding. I would definitely recommend her services if you want your dog to be happy and safe!

Meeting your pet’s needs with empathy and care

I have been a dog owner myself, as well as I have volunteered in an animal shelter for 2 years, so I am incredibly fond of dogs, cats and all other kinds of pets. As I am now a student who has moved away from home (so away from my family pets as well), I miss having animals around a lot. Additionally, since I’ve encountered all sorts pets in all sorts of states and traits, I take the time to introduce myself first, figure out the animal’s needs and only then move further with the care. I have 7 years of experience in taking care of dogs and cats, including the experience at the shelter. I have no preference for pets I sit, as well as I am rather flexible with my schedule - I can be available mornings, afternoons and evenings. I am a loving, gentle and caring sitter, described as "the one that has a way with animals." I find walking and/or sitting them genuinely pleasurable, so I always try to make the visits as warm as possible. Nonetheless, I am aware of the responsibility such care entails and make sure to do everything in my power to avoid any kind of negligence. When petsitting/boarding, I send regular photo updates, don’t leave the animals alone (unless allowed), walk them 3x a day and let them wander freely but safely around the apartment. I walk them regularly to provide toilet breaks as needed, but in cases of little accidents inside the apartment, I make sure to clean it up and generally to keep the pets in safe and higienic conditions. In addition to the > 15 minute walks, pets receive plenty of play time to fulfil their physical activity needs. I remain in consistent communication with the owners and feed/walk/provide medication/etc as instructed by the owners. I also spoil the pets with snacks, if allowed:) Fresh water is always available, as well food is provided as required by the owners. I try to stick to petsitting one animal at a time due to the stress different pets may cause to each other, but if allowed by the owners, I am always happy to sit a few animals at once. In case of an emergency, I will bring the pets to the vet or act in any other required manner as indicated by the owners. When dog walking, I take at least 30 minutes, keep my copy of the key safely, always check if everything is secured before leaving, dress the pet in provided attire if needed, carry the pets up/down the stairs if needed as well. During house visits, I spend at least an hour with the pets, playing with them and making sure they’re fed, walked and happy. I am also happy to house sit if that is preferred by the owners. If agreed in accordance with my schedule, I can house sit for an indefinite time. When house sitting, I always double check if everything is locked/turned off before leaving and/or night time. According to my regular clients, their pets are always excited to come back to my place - hope that would be the case with your pets as well:)

Ik zorg met veel liefde voor jouw hond of kat!

Een warme thuis voor jouw hond of kat 💕

Ik ben een echte dierenliefhebber! Helaas kan ik momenteel zelf geen dier adopteren omdat ik te veel reis. Dat vind ik ontzettend jammer, dus daarom lijkt het me heel leuk om af en toe op iemand anders zijn hond of kat te passen. Van huis uit heb ik altijd dieren gehad, waaronder een Duitse herder, een rottweiler, een Maltezer en meerdere katten. Daardoor ben ik gewend aan verschillende karakters en behoeften. Daarnaast pas ik regelmatig op de hond van mijn zus, een rescue uit Spanje. Ik werk voor mezelf vanuit huis, waardoor ik veel aanwezig ben. Dat maakt mijn huis ook geschikt voor diertjes die niet zo graag lang alleen zijn. Ik houd zowel van korte als lange wandelingen en neem honden, afhankelijk van hun karakter, graag mee op pad. Natuurlijk is er thuis ook genoeg tijd om te spelen, knuffelen of gewoon lekker te ontspannen. Daarnaast heb ik een fijn tuintje waar honden en katten lekker kunnen relaxen als het mooi weer is. Mensen omschrijven mij als rustig, warm en zorgzaam. Wat je van mij kunt verwachten? Veel liefde en aandacht voor je dier, regelmatige updates en foto’s, en de geruststelling dat je huisdier in goede handen is. Ik plan vooraf altijd graag even een kennismaking in, zodat we kunnen kijken of er een goede match is. Voor de rest woon ik op 40m² met een tuin, dus voor hele grote honden is mijn woning waarschijnlijk minder geschikt. Goed om te weten: omdat ik op de begane grond woon, hoor je soms geluiden uit het trappenhuis. Daarom is mijn woning minder geschikt voor honden die erg waaks zijn of snel aanslaan bij geluiden. Voor vragen mag je altijd contact opnemen! 🐾

Shamira took really good care of Henri. He had plenty of exercise, was very well looked after, and came back home happy and relaxed. She also sent us daily updates with pictures and videos, which was really nice and reassuring. We would definitely recommend her!

Honden uitlaatster met ervaring!!

Hallo, Mijn naam is Dunja en ik ben 41 jaar. Samen met mijn man, dochter ( 6 jaar), twee hondjes, twee katten en een hamster woon ik in almere stedenwijk vlak bij het weerwater. De flexibele oppas voor jullie!

Hallo baasjes! Wij zijn dochter Ivy (9) en mama Linde (46) en wonen in het groenrijke Purmerend Ik of wij laten uw hond 3 a 4 keer per dag uit en houden van lange wandelingen te maken. We passen ook regelmatig op aan huis zodat u huisdieren lekker thuis kunnen blijven in hun eigen omgeving. We gaan vaak naar het park hier om de hoek en het Purmerbos, want daar is het heerlijk om te wandelen! Heel veel groen en leuk met andere honden. We vinden het fijn om vantevoren met elkaar een keer af te spreken om te kijken of het tussen ons klikt en u kan zien waar u hond verblijft of waar wij verblijven.. Maar dat is naar ieder wens in te vullen. Wat voor hond maakt ons niet uit, als het maar met een kind kan omgaan. Ik werk veel vanuit huis (maatschappelijk werker) en dus veel aandacht voor u hond.. spelen, knufffelen en lekker naar buiten Soms moet ik naar een afspraak en moet u hond wel 2 a 3 uurtjes alleen kunnen. Bij ons kan je de hond ook gerust achterlaten of wij bij jullie thuis als je op vakantie gaat, en hoeft het niet in een kennel waar het vaak koud en vies is.. Bij ons kan het lekker verblijven in een huiselijke sfeer en is er dus veel aandacht. uitlaten alleen doen we ook graag en halen u hond dan op en heeft hij een superleuke wandeling met ons en komt dan weer voldaan thuis! Als u een kat heeft of een anders dier dan verzorgen wij die aan huis ook graag.. want deze dieren hebben ook zorg nodig als u moet werken of op vakantie gaat! Heeft u nog vragen, bericht mij gerust en wie weet tot snel Wij hebben tijd als u geen tijd heeft en bieden u hond veel liefde en regelmaat toe Tot snel!!!

Linde heeft een dochter van 5 jaar en een chihuahua van 12 jaar. Ze geeft haar oppashondjes dezelfde liefdevolle aandacht die ze haar eigen kind en hondje geeft. Linde neemt haar oppashondjes ook mee met de auto voor heerlijke lange wandelingen in parken, strand en bossen (in weer en wind). Linde is duidelijke de leider van de roede en wordt door de oppashondjes geaccepteerd en door de baasjes gewaardeerd. Daarnaast is Linde zeer flexibel in haar oppastijden, denkt mee en is oplossingsgericht. Kortom, ik kan haar zeer aanbevelen 👍

Voornamelijk honden (van egt diverse rassen/ groot en klein) maar ook vissen, vogels, cavia’s, hamsters, konijnen, fretten. . Het fijnste is als de huisdieren hier komen in huiselijke sfeer, mits het natuurlijk matcht met mijn hond en ze kinderen zijn gewend zijn. Vrijblijvend kennis maken is dan dan ook wel wenselijk. De dieren die hier welkom zijn: -Honden, cavia, konijnen, hamsters, vissen, vogels, fretten, Eventueel andere kleine huisdieren in kleine kooi zijn ook welkom die ik hier niet genoemd heb. Ik snap dat het hier logeren niet altijd kan dus kan zeker ook op huisbezoek gaan voor eventueel katten en alle bovenstaande dieren die ik heb vernoemd. Ik kan dan gelijk thuis ook even de planten water geven binnen en in de tuin en of balkon. (Zit allen in de prijs inbegrepen) uw post netjes opruimen. Tussen door stofzuigen, de vuilnis doen zo dat u in een net huis terug komt! Om een heerlijke wandeling te maken met de hond sta ik ook zeker voor open. Denk dat ik zo wel alles heb benoemd :) Vrijblijvend kennismaken is natuurlijk altijd mogelijk om te kijken of het allemaal klikt en alles qua werkzaamheden en de prijs valt nog te bespreken. Eventuele referenties kan ik doorgeven als daar vraag naar is van de diverse huisdieren. Als je nog vragen hebt stuur me gerust een berichtje!

She doesn't have enough experience with dogs and has very questionable decisions. She gave too much treat to our dog which made her vomit. She didn't inform us about it, told us everything is good. After taking Gigi back, we noticed that Gigi's bed is covered with vomit and there was vomit stains on all her body. Apparently she let her sleep in vomit and didn't clean the bed and Gigi. Another unusual thing was that she decided not to take off her leash because she didn't want to "hurt her". So she thought that leaving her on the leash for 6 days is a good idea. She took it off only after we insisted. All in all, I don't think she knows how to take care of dogs.

Hello, my name is Jess/Cong I had a cute poodle for 10 years growing up. Covid lockdowns brought an unexpected joy into my life as I became temporary dog caretakers for two years. The experiences were incredible, and I'm ready to do it again after a year of travelling! My apartment is very spacious (180sqm), it's good for dogs of all sizes. We have a well fenced roof terrace to play balls with the dog. I like to take dogs to parks during my work break. there has been a few times when doggos refuse to leave with the owner :p Working from home allows me to provide multiple daily walks (depends on the needs of your own dog), including visits to parks. Your pup will have loads of fun!. I'm a loving and caring person by nature, and I'll treat your dog with 100% kindness and attention. Photos are dogs that we took care in the past years. My dog Boba loves Cong so much that every time we go to her Boba would literally drag me to the door like it's her own house. She always sends me cute video updates and this time even a professional drawing! She is warm, reliable and genuinely caring. Highly recommended!
