Back in Izmir, I cared for numerous street cats and shared my home with three adorable companions, one of whom is blind. What's more, I've always had cats and dogs at home, so I've grown up with them. I moved to Munich three years ago due to my master's degree in sport and exercise science following my undergraduate studies in physiotherapy. I have now been in Amsterdam for the past year and writing my thesis. Gul was an amazing pet sitter for my dog Sandy. She made Sandy feel comfy and at home with her and had wonderful patience, since it was one of Sandy’s first dog sitting days and she had some separation anxiety. Sandy already felt much more comfortable leaving me the second visit. And hopefully it will only improve. Gul is a great, knowledgable and reliable, pet sitter - I definitely recommend her!

Creating Pawsome memories for your furry friends!

I am a student studying at the VU. I have been pet sitting for almost 3 years now here in Amsterdam. I have taken care of 50+ different dogs and cats until now and I am experienced with different breeds and habits of pets. Originally I am from China, and I am currently studying at the VU. I have a cat and a dog back home (the cat is 5 years old, and the dog is 6 years old). I've been responsible for taking care of them since they were a few weeks old, so I'm really used to the life rhythm with these cute little angels around. In 2024, I volunteered at an animal rescue center in Crete, Greece, where I had to take care of 15+ dogs. I enjoyed spending the whole day with them, taking them to the beach, and cooking for them. I treat my pets as my friends – not only loving and caring for them, but I also pay attention to the small habits and characteristics that make them unique. This is what motivated me to become a pet sitter, to make more fluffy animal friends! I study at home most of the time, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets. My daily routine is very flexible and can be adjusted to fit the walking/feeding time of your pet. I love sleeping with dogs and cats too and I am happy to let your pet be in all places in the house. But if there’s specific requirements for no pets in bedroom/on couch etc I will also follow them. For house sitting, I will make sure to keep the place tidy, water plants/ pick up deliveries if needed, will also do a thorough clean up at the end of the sit. I will make sure to be careful with windows and doors, not letting the pet get out accidentally. Ofcourse, I will also ensure not to leave food out unattended. During heatwave I will keep a close eye on the behavior of the pet, for dog walks I will also check the temperature of the ground before leaving.

We couldn't have asked for a better cat sitter! Yuyue stayed at our home for three weeks while we were travelling, and we felt completely at ease knowing our cats were in such good hands. She was incredibly trustworthy, respectful and proactive from the very beginning. Before the sitting, she asked all the right questions, from our cats' habits and routines to the vet's contact details and address in case of an emergency. She was equally thoughtful when it came to anything around the house, always checking with us whenever she had a question. Communication throughout the three weeks was excellent. She was very responsive and regularly sent us lovely pictures and videos of herself with our cats. It was so reassuring to see how happy, relaxed and comfortable they were in her company. We genuinely appreciated Yuyue's care, thoughtfulness and sense of responsibility. We would happily have her look after our cats again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring cat sitter!

Betrouwbare, vriendelijke en rustige oppas

Al sinds ik heel jong ben, ben ik gewend aan dieren om me heen. Ik zou mezelf dan ook omschrijven als een echte dierenvriend. Mijn ouders hebben een labradoodle en daardoor heb ik ook ervaring met het passen op honden. Ze hebben ook altijd katten gehad, dus ik weet ook goed hoe ik met hen om moet gaan. Als ik nu op een huisdier van iemand zou passen, dan zou ik er voor zorgen dat het dier zich op zijn/haar gemak voelt en er rustig mee om gaan. En ik zou luisteren naar de behoeftes van het baasje en me daar netjes aan houden.

Onze Monty was bij Berber in goede handen. Ze is betrouwbaar, op tijd en heel vriendelijk. Monty heeft een heerlijke wandeling gehad!

The Biggest Animal Lover You’ll Ever Meet

I grew up with all types of animals back in North Carolina, from dogs to lizards, you name it. I learned how to care for creatures, big to small, whether they were my own pets or not. While living in Amsterdam for 9 years I have taken on a few opportunities to pet sit and loved it. Now that I have two cats (one even had kittens last summer!) at home, I sadly can’t do boarding like I used to, but I’m happy to get outside for some fresh air with a walk or two, and pop by a home to check on the fur babies. I have always grown up with a house full of animals which I love very dearly. Since moving to the Netherlands I have longed to have animals in my care again. Huisdieren liefhebber!

Van jongs af aan ben ik opgegroeid met honden en katten. Van een puberende meubilair opetende Saarlooswolfshond, rondrennende Bordercollie tot geadopteerde hondjes uit diverse landen. Niks is voor mij te gek. Ik hou ontzettend van wandelen en doe dat natuurlijk liever met een hond erbij. Naar het park, op het strand, noem maar op. Momenteel woon ik in Amsterdam, vlakbij een groot park. Zo nu en dan ben ik ook in Leeuwarden te vinden (mochten daar ook petbnb opties zijn). Grote dierenvriend met veel liefde over

Mijn naam is Jiska en zolang ik mij kan herinneren is mijn liefde en passie voor dieren heel groot! Vanaf kleins af aan hadden wij al katten bij mijn ouders thuis, waar nu nog steeds een rode rakker genaamd Bowie rondloopt. De liefde voor andere dieren was er altijd ook al, en is ook de grootste reden waarom ik voor al m’n vrienden en vriendinnen de oppas voor hun huisdieren ben. De dieren waar ik vooral op pas zijn dan ook katten en honden. De liefde voor honden werd nóg groter toen mijn schoonouders een labradoodle kregen. Toen kwam ik er achter wat voor onvoorwaardelijke liefde zo’n beestje je kan geven. En daarnaast ook nog eens gezelligheid & vrolijkheid. Met alle liefde passen wij vaak genoeg op deze lieve doodle genaamd Otis. Helaas wonen wij in een appartement en zijn wij nog onregelmatig van huis waardoor wij (nog) geen dieren kunnen hebben. Ik mis dus een beetje dierenliefde en pas ik graag op die van jou! En ik wandel graag… Wat is er leuker om dat met een harig maatje te doen?

I completed my master’s degree at an art university in the Netherlands and now work as a designer and freelancer.
