She doesn't have enough experience with dogs and has very questionable decisions. She gave too much treat to our dog which made her vomit. She didn't inform us about it, told us everything is good. After taking Gigi back, we noticed that Gigi's bed is covered with vomit and there was vomit stains on all her body. Apparently she let her sleep in vomit and didn't clean the bed and Gigi. Another unusual thing was that she decided not to take off her leash because she didn't want to "hurt her". So she thought that leaving her on the leash for 6 days is a good idea. She took it off only after we insisted. All in all, I don't think she knows how to take care of dogs.

Making your dog happy makes me happy - win / win!

Since leaving my parents place when I was 18, I have been craving to be able to take care of dogs. During my whole childhood I grew up around (big) dogs at my grandparent's house as well as at my home. My grandpa taught me the do's and don'ts and how to train them and I would regularly take care of their dogs as well as the dogs of family friends. From age 10 to 18 we also had a male German Sheppard at home who I always felt was my "bear" brother. I'm definitely the kind of guy who will stop in the middle of the street to chat with someone about their dog and ask if I can pet him/her. I'm not afraid of any type of dog and feel confident being able to impose myself when needed while remaining calm and respectful. I'm a sporty guy who goes outside a lot and likes to go for long walks in nature or a run - also with my friends or my girlfriend. I could play with dogs for hours. I currently live on the top floor of a spacious flat with rooftop in Oud West near most of the big parks including Westerpark, Rembrandtpark, Erasmuspark and Vondelpark. Regarding the prices and hours, I'm quite flexible and happy to discuss them with you as for me this is really more of a pleasure than a side job. I currently work at New Balance and am flexible to work from home whenever I want and to structure my days to my needs. Hallo baasjes! Mijn naam is Julia en ik stel mezelf graag even voor. Ik ben opgegroeid in een gezin waar altijd veel dieren aanwezig waren. Van jongs af aan heb ik met veel liefde en plezier voor honden en katten gezorgd. Daarnaast hadden we thuis ook vogels, konijnen en woestijnratjes, waardoor ik ervaring heb met verschillende soorten dieren. Zelf hebben we twee Jack Russells gehad: gezellige, energieke en trouwe honden. Daarnaast heb ik veel ervaring opgedaan met verschillende hondenrassen, zowel via familie en vrienden als door regelmatig op honden te passen. Denk hierbij aan onder andere Engelse en Franse Bulldogs, Shiba's, Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Duitse Herders, Border Collies, Australian Shepherds, teckels, poedels, diverse terriërs en verschillende kruisingen. Hierdoor heb ik ervaring met zowel kleine als grote honden, en met uiteenlopende karakters. Sinds april hebben wij zelf ook een pup in huis, geboren in januari. Zij is een kruising tussen een mopshond en een poedel en inmiddels een vrolijke, enthousiaste en zeer sociale jonge hond. Ze is een echte allemansvriend en vindt andere honden geweldig. Daarom vinden wij het belangrijk dat eventuele oppashonden eerst even kennismaken met haar, zodat we kunnen kijken of het een goede match is. Ik ben graag buiten en maak met plezier wandelingen. Wij wonen vlak bij een mooie wandelroute langs het water en op ongeveer 10 minuten rijden van meerdere losloopgebieden, waar honden heerlijk kunnen spelen en hun energie kwijt kunnen. Ik sta open voor opvang voor kortere periodes (tot maximaal één week), maar ook voor een vaste oppashond die bijvoorbeeld één keer per week langskomt wanneer jij aan het werk bent. Stuur gerust een berichtje als je denkt dat wij een goede match zijn voor jouw hond. Ik maak graag kennis met jullie!

Baxter really enjoyed his stay with Julia. She made him feel right at home, and he was clearly very comfortable — lounging on the couch like he owned the place! Julia was also very accommodating when I made a mistake with the dates, which I really appreciated.

International couple with a love for animals

Richard and I have both grown up with and have taken care of pets most of our life. Richard had 2 medium-large dogs growing up and I grew up with 2 cats (currently we do not have pets at our home but would love them in the future). I always exchange with friends to look after each other's dogs when we go on holidays. My last chow died at the age of 15 in March. I'm not ready for a new one but would love to be around with man's best friends again. I live in a pet-proof apartment with doggy door to the terrace facing south with green view. The building also has lift. The neiboughhood is very green, literally a dog park under my balcony. there are lake and grasslands nearby, perfect for walking dogs. The building also has lift. Last but not least, my partner and I have lived together since 2007, now both of us work from home and love dogs dearly, I guarantee we will have lot of time to play with your babies! ☺️😛 Ik had 4 honden in mijn 44 jarige leven. Duitse herder in mijn jeugd, en drie chows in de laatste 15 jaar. Ik ruil altijd met vrienden om op op elkaars honden te passen als we op vakantie gaan. Mijn laatste chow stierf op 15-jarige leeftijd in maart. Maart. Ik ben nog niet toe aan een nieuwe, maar... maar ik zou graag weer bij de beste vrienden. Ik woon in een huisdier-proof appartement met honden deur naar het terras op het zuiden met groen uitzicht. Het gebouw heeft ook een lift. De buurt is erg groen, letterlijk een hondenpark onder mijn balkon. Er zijn meer en graslanden in de buurt, perfect om te wandelen honden. Het gebouw heeft ook een lift. Last but not least, mijn partner en ik hebben wonen samen sinds 2007, nu werken we allebei werken vanuit huis en houden veel van honden, ik garanderen dat we veel tijd hebben om te spelen met uw baby's! ❤️

We had a great experience with Dillon and would definitely book with him again. He took excellent care of Hilbert, regularly sent us lovely videos from their walks, gave him the medication he needed, and even kept his health tracker charged. Everything went smoothly, and it was clear that Hilbert was well looked after throughout his stay. Highly recommended!

Actieve liefdevolle opvang

Ik heb veel huisdieren gehad. Van goudvis tot hond. Door mijn werk was ik veel in het buitenland konden de huisdieren niet altijd mee. Nu ben ik alweer jaren honkvast in Zaandam. Mijn man, dochter en ik hebben al vaak op honden van buren gepast, hebben al veel logeerhondjes van vrienden thuis gehad en hebben een eigen hondje. We hebben een fijn huis met een aardige tuin. Op het nabijgelegen hondenuitlaat veldje is er altijd een speelkameraadje te vinden en voor langere wandelingen gaan we naar het strand, bos of een grote ronde door het Jagersveld, een recreatiegebied waaraan wij wonen. Het liefst passen wij op honden die gewend zijn aan een gezinssituatie. Er is altijd een volwassene bij als de hond uitgelaten wordt. Ik werk zelf aan huis, dus er is bijna altijd iemand thuis, behalve als ik eventjes boodschappen doe. Onze dochter van 13 is in de middag thuis en zij is stapelgek op hondjes. Ze is ermee opgegroeid dus is er goed aan gewend. We wandelen vaak in de ochtend een grote ronde, dan tussen de middag een rondje van ongeveer een half uurtje (of zoveel korter als de hondjes aankunnen natuurlijk). Dan einde middag nog lekker een rondje met de bal, even spelen en uitrennen aan het strandje hier op 5 minuten loopafstand. In de avond lopen we ook altijd nog een half uurtje en vlak voor het slapen gaan nog even een snelle plas, dus er is veel ruimte voor beweging. Maar alles wordt natuurlijk aangepast aan de wensen van het hondje. Onze Bobba is een allemansvriend, die heeft nog nooit gegromd naar een andere hond als er geen aanleiding toe was. Hij is een kruising tussen een Jack Russell en een Corgi, waardoor hij thuis de rust zelve is, maar buiten is hij een echte jager, maar wel een vriendelijke. Hij is heel lief met andere honden, alleen poesjes moet zich uit de voeten maken voor hem, want daar heeft hij niets mee. Heb je nog vragen? Stuur gerust een berichtje. I enjoy taking care of dogs. For my 8th birthday my parents gave me the best present of my life—a puppy. Funnily enough, the puppy's name was Gift. Hi! My name is Feyza, I am half American and half Hungarian and I love spending time with dogs:) I have been living in Amsterdam for the past 7 years but I grew up in Hawaii. Living on an island, I always had dogs and loved walking and taking care of them, and have also done a lot of dog sitting in the past for both older and younger dogs of all sizes. I love being outsite and really enjoy being around the kind energy of dogs. I hope your furry friend will enjoy their time with me as much as I enjoy hanging out with them!
