For pet boarding, drop off and pick up times are usually set for the morning latest at noon but I'm mostly flexible as well when needed. While exact times for pick up/drop off are much appreciated (so I can schedule with the next pet owner) if there is flexibility from both sides it should all work out well. Hi pet parents, lovely to meet you! I'm Nina, 28 years old, and I grew up here in The Hague. About me I grew up with two dogs and three cats, and I've always loved taking care of them. For the last two years, while living in Amsterdam, I had two regular addresses that asked me to look after their dogs during workdays, weekends away and holidays. Since I've moved, they still bring their dogs to me when they go away for a longer holiday, but of course much less frequent now. Now that I'm all settled back in The Hague, I'd love to find a new address. In the past, I've worked as a nanny for five years, and I bring the same warmth and communication skills to pet sitting. I'm currently living on Javastraat with my boyfriend. He's 29 years old, really kind and loves dogs as well. He has a labradoodle back home with his parents. I'm working as a communication consultant for the government and often work from home. Jasper (the boyfriend) also has an office job, but he works at the actual office much more often. About the apartment The house is a calm place, as there are no other pets or children. Luckily, the Scheveningse Bosjes (meaning lots of fun and plenty of other dogs!) are just around the corner. If the schedule allows and they feel comfortable enough, I also love going for a walk on the beach. Important: the apartment is on the first floor. The staircase is very doable (it's not steep), but it's good to know. Practicalities - I'm flexible with my availability. - The response rate on my profile might be low because it was inactive. When I was living in Amsterdam, I found two addresses that regularly asked me to dog-sit for them. I've moved back to The Hague, and now that I'm all settled in, I'm looking forward to finding a new pet-sitting address. Hello, We have recently moved to a larger home in a quiet, green neighborhood right next to Clingendael Park and the Haagse Bos. This location offers direct access to some of the nicest walking routes in the area. The house has plenty of indoor space and a fully enclosed garden with grass and high hedges. Dogs can safely move around, relax outside or play, depending on their energy level. The garden is a big advantage for dogs that like having outdoor access without constant leash time. Our jobs are hybrid and we coordinate our schedules so that usually one of us is working from home. This means there is regular presence throughout the day and your dog is not left alone for long periods. We have experience with dogs of different sizes, ages and temperaments and have been doing this since before our daughter was born. We now have a toddler at home who is used to being around dogs and enjoys their company. Because of this, it is important that your dog is comfortable around young children. At home, we keep things calm and structured. We follow a consistent routine with walks, feeding, rest and downtime. Walks are often in Clingendael or the Haagse Bos, depending on the dog and weather. Inside, dogs have space to settle and we provide simple enrichment like toys and interaction. We do not take puppies younger than 6 months. Before confirming a stay, we like to understand your dog a bit better: – How they are with other dogs – Any triggers or specific behaviour – Whether they have separation anxiety or bark frequently – Whether they are comfortable around toddlers We live in a quiet residential area with neighbors nearby, so we only accept dogs that fit a calm environment and do not bark excessively. I had 10 dogs back home but when I moved to Netherlands, I miss the presence of my pets and would love to host the dogs for the par time. As I am not sure with my future here, so it is difficult to have a pet permanently. Hence I thought it is the best option to sign up for this website. Hoi! Ik pas regelmatig op honden van vrienden en vind het heerlijk om lange wandelingen te maken, te spelen (heb zelf ook veel energie) en simpele trucjes te oefenen. Doordeweeks werk ik in Rotterdam (ma, di, do – honden mogen mee!) en op woensdag en vrijdag geef ik les in Den Haag, dan kan er helaas geen hond mee. In het weekend kan ik vaak, en in vakantieperiodes (zoals nu!) ben ik een stuk flexibeler omdat ik niet voor de klas hoef te staan. Ik ben opgegroeid met katten, heb nu twee hele leuke konijnen, en word eigenlijk blij van bijna elk dier.
