To ensure every dog receives our full attention and care, we only host one dog at a time. We also accept bookings for a maximum stay of 7 days. Wonderful! Our small dog Binka was well taken care of, and the communication was great. Ekin and Özcan were very attentive and caring, the whole atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and I believe our dog really liked it.

Lovely second home for your pet

Hii!! My name is Anna, and me with my husband have a house with two beautiful dog boys, Leon and Garry. Leon is a 9y old Bichon Frisé and Garry is a 4y old rescue dog (we think a mix of Border Collie and Labrador/Golden Retriever) from Bosnia. I myself would love to have more dogs in the house however it is not possible so dog sitting is a perfect way out! I love dogs more than humans I think and I believe they deserve all the love we can give them. Ik hou veel van dieren

Ik heb zelf altijd katten gehad en een Engelse bulldog, verder in "co ouderschap" 2 honden die uit Curaçao kwamen. Ik zou zelf heel graag een hond willen maar helaas is dat lastig als je alleen woont en werkt. Dit zou voor mij de ideale oplossing zijn. (English below) Katten- of hondenmens? Ik ben het allebei! Hoi! Ik ben Sterre, ik ben 33 jaar oud. Ik ben op zoek naar een viervoetermaatje. Of dat nu in de vorm van een kat of een hond is, maakt mij niet veel uit. Ik vind beide dieren leuk! In mijn ouderlijk huis ben ik opgegroeid in een gezellige beestenbende. We hadden een hond (recent: Heidewachtel, vroeger: Vlinderhondje), 4 katten, konijnen, kippen en cavia’s. Ik heb zelf één van onze honden opgevoed en ik ben ermee op cursus gegaan (de Heidewachtel, een jachtras). Onze poes is tweemaal zwanger geweest, waarvan ze één nestje heeft verworpen. Deze kittens heb ik toen ook verzorgd en gevoed. Kortom: ik ben praktisch opgegroeid als dierenverzorger. Later, als uitgevlogen vogel uit het ouderlijk nest, had ik helaas geen mogelijkheid tot huisdieren ivm verbod door huisbaas. Gelukkig kan ik af en toe oppassen op de katten van mijn ouders en de kat en Appenzeller Sennenhond van een vriendin. Maar ik mis de regelmatige, dierlijke connectie enorm. Honden en katten maken mij blij en ik merk de connectie met ze. Zij voelen dat bij mij aan, vaak lopen honden uit zichzelf vrolijk op mij af om hallo te zeggen en te snuffelen. Ik kan het dan natuurlijk niet weerstaan om even een aai over zijn/haar bol te geven. Met katten weet ik heel goed te herkennen wanneer zij aandacht willen en wanneer zij hun eigen ding willen doen. Ik woon dichtbij het Haagse Bos en vind het heerlijk om met een hond door het bos te wandelen. Doordeweeks werk ik, maar ik mag van mijn werkgever veel thuiswerken. Mijn werk kan ik overal waar WiFi is uitvoeren, dus ook bij jouw huisdier. Tussendoor en tegelijk met mijn werkzaamheden kan ik je hond uitlaten, met je hond/kat spelen en aandacht geven. Mijn kantoorrooster is zodanig flexibel dat ik bijvoorbeeld elke maandag voor je geliefde huisdier kan zorgen. We kunnen hier uiteraard goed contact over hebben wat jouw wensen zijn! Flexibele thuiswerker & enthousiaste hondenfan

Sinds kinds af aan, heb ik altijd voor buren en vrienden honden uitgelaten of opgepast. Nu pas ik regelmatig op de golden retriever van een familielid, vaak meerdere dagen achter elkaar. Ik werk regelmatig vanuit huis, waardoor ik veel flexibiliteit heb om tijdens de lunch lekker te wandelen in het Haagse Bos of Clingendael. Hello, We have recently moved to a larger home in a quiet, green neighborhood right next to Clingendael Park and the Haagse Bos. This location offers direct access to some of the nicest walking routes in the area. The house has plenty of indoor space and a fully enclosed garden with grass and high hedges. Dogs can safely move around, relax outside or play, depending on their energy level. The garden is a big advantage for dogs that like having outdoor access without constant leash time. Our jobs are hybrid and we coordinate our schedules so that usually one of us is working from home. This means there is regular presence throughout the day and your dog is not left alone for long periods. We have experience with dogs of different sizes, ages and temperaments and have been doing this since before our daughter was born. We now have a toddler at home who is used to being around dogs and enjoys their company. Because of this, it is important that your dog is comfortable around young children. At home, we keep things calm and structured. We follow a consistent routine with walks, feeding, rest and downtime. Walks are often in Clingendael or the Haagse Bos, depending on the dog and weather. Inside, dogs have space to settle and we provide simple enrichment like toys and interaction. We do not take puppies younger than 6 months. Before confirming a stay, we like to understand your dog a bit better: – How they are with other dogs – Any triggers or specific behaviour – Whether they have separation anxiety or bark frequently – Whether they are comfortable around toddlers We live in a quiet residential area with neighbors nearby, so we only accept dogs that fit a calm environment and do not bark excessively. Safety and clear communication are important to us. We keep things straightforward, maintain a secure setup and aim to make the stay predictable and comfortable for both dog and owner. Oppas Bomenbuurt bij Arjan en Manon

Hoi, Wij zijn Arjan (31) en Manon (30) en het lijkt ons leuk om af en toe op een hond te passen. We zouden erg graag zelf een hond nemen, maar helaas laat ons leven dat nog niet toe. Op wat voor moment we kunnen oppassen hangt erg af van de dag/week. De beschikbaarheid in onze agenda zegt daarom niet super veel. Beste is om gewoon wat voor te stellen en dan kijken we wat uitkomt! We zijn flexibel met thuiswerken, en passen soms ook graag in het weekend op. Voor één dag, maar afhankelijk van het weekend zou logeren soms ook kunnen. We wonen in een portiekwoning in de Bomenbuurt van 100m2. De hond kan vrijuit door het huis wandelen. We zijn graag buiten en het lijkt ons super leuk om door de bossen en naar het strand te lopen, 20 minuten hier vandaan. We kijken ernaar uit. En schroom niet om een voorstel te doen dat niet overeenkomt met onze voorkeuren. For the last two years, while living in Amsterdam, I had two regular addresses that asked me to look after their dogs during workdays, weekends away and holidays. Since I've moved, they still bring their dogs to me when they go away for a longer holiday, but of course much less frequent now. I'm working as a communication consultant for the government and often work from home. Jasper (the boyfriend) also has an office job, but he works at the actual office much more often. About the apartment The house is a calm place, as there are no other pets or children. Luckily, the Scheveningse Bosjes (meaning lots of fun and plenty of other dogs!) are just around the corner. If the schedule allows and they feel comfortable enough, I also love going for a walk on the beach. Important: the apartment is on the first floor. The staircase is very doable (it's not steep), but it's good to know. Practicalities - I'm flexible with my availability. - The response rate on my profile might be low because it was inactive. When I was living in Amsterdam, I found two addresses that regularly asked me to dog-sit for them. I've moved back to The Hague, and now that I'm all settled in, I'm looking forward to finding a new pet-sitting address. I have had dogs most of my life, from varying sizes and am comfortable with most to all dogs. I, however, am not a dog trainer and unfortunately won’t be able to look after dogs with large tempers. I live on the Laan van NOI and have a clean space that all dogs and cats will love. I also am available to walk the dog to the Haagse Bos or any green areas where they will be able to play (on a leash) and enjoy the outdoors. I started dog sitting for my neighbor first and then discovered this page. Love going on walks and play outside with them. I have some experience with mostly small dogs. I’m aware that every dog have different needs and I’m willing to take good care of them and follow any instructions needed.
