30 year old couple, one with life-long experiences with large and medium breeds living in Amsterdam! We would love to look after your pets and assisting you with your needs! We both live in a large apartment, with a balcony, close to Sarphatipark (and dog park), with flexible schedules that can change based on your pets needs! Mateo is Colombian/German, and grew up with dogs for more than 20 years with Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Dobermans, Labradors, and adopted mixed breeds, both in open and enclosed spaces. He has experience in giving oral medicines to breeds of various sizes and difficulties. Em has experince in looking after mixed-breed cats in enclosed spaces.

I have been owning and sitting pets my whole life. Since moving to Amsterdam some years ago this is my way to continue to spread my experience in pet caring. I live next to Rembrandpark and Vondelpark, (doggies fav place!). I know the best spots for dog walking and treats! Mijn vader woont op een hobbyboerderij met verschillende dieren; 2 honden, katten, geiten, varkens, koeien, kippen, schapen, etc. Sinds dat ik 7 ben, ben ik opgegroeid met een hond in huis. Vaak waren mijn ouders een week weg, en had ik dus alle zorg voor de hond(en). Hoi! Ik ben Roos, 33 jaar en woon in Amsterdam Oud West. Zelf ben ik altijd opgegroeid met honden in de familie en het liefst zou ik graag zelf een hond willen, maar gezien ik op dit moment onregelmatige uren werk als verpleegkundige is dat nu niet passend in mijn leven. Wies heeft een hele leuke dag bij Roos gehad. Roos heeft Wies meegenomen naar het strand waar ze lekker gewandeld hebben. Wies is erg tevreden en ik zou haar zeker vaker brengen.

Op zoek naar een lieve en actieve hondenoppas in Amsterdam? Ik pas graag af en toe op honden en geniet van lange wandelingen in de parken van Amsterdam, zoals het Vondelpark, Rembrandtpark of Beatrixpark. Maar knuffelen op de bank vind ik net zo gezellig! Me and my husband are both dog lovers and grew up with dogs around. We want a dog of our own, but currently we live in a rental apartment and we both work a lot. We think that right now our lives are to volatile to raise a pup, but we never let the chance of dogsitting slip away when our friends need some help 🌸 I got to know very different dogs in my life and I understand that they might need patience and different approaches. I knew dogs that suffer from anxiety, some are just goofballs that need a lot of entertainment and some of them can be really uptight and defensive. But there is nothing more rewarding than earning a dogs trust. For example, here in Amsterdam I am regularly taking care of my friends foster dog. She’s been through a lot of hardships in life, but after a while I was finally able to earn her trust and my friend can travel on the weekends 🥰 I see dogsitting as a wonderful opportunity for me to share the love for dogs and support dog owners, while currently our life situation doesn’t allow us to adopt one ourselves.

Daria was great for Pablo. Required a lot of patience as my little friend can be very stubborn. In the end he looked very happy!

Wij, Christian & Esther, sinds een jaar samenwonend hebben ruimte voor het gezelschap van een viervoeter🐶 Beide zijn vanuit huis opgegroeid met honden! Zo nu en dan komt er nog wel is één daar van logeren, zo zijn wij op het idee gekomen om ons hier dan ook voor aan te melden! Wij wonen centraal in Hoofddorp, in een woonhuis met een fijne ruime tuin van 60m2. In de woonwijk ligt een klein groen losloop gebied, op 2km het Haarlemmermeerse bos en 2,5km het Toolenburgse plas. Genoeg keuze voor een wandeling dus! Verder hebben wij geen huisdieren en geen kinderen. Zijn geïnteresseerd in kleine en middel maat honden. Wij vinden het leuk (als dit past qua afstand en agenda) om van te voren even elkaar te ontmoeten, dan heeft u een idee over bij wie u uw beste vriend(in) laat en of dit klikt! Ook vinden wij het belangrijk dat uw hond de rust en aandacht krijgt die hij/zij nodig heeft en willen we er maar 1 tegelijk. (Als u zelf meerdere bezit eventueel in overleg) Beschikbaarheid is variërend. In het weekend zijn we over het algemeen beschikbaar en bespreken we van te voren af of dit past. Doordeweeks werken we beide, dus hier zijn uiteraard mogelijkheden in goed overleg. denk hierbij dan aan dat hij/zij wel af en toe een aantal uur alleen moet kunnen zijn als dit nodig is. Bas was very attentive and caring with Crepa, he made the right questions, and seemed to be very familiar with doggos. He sent me updates with photos which I appreciate, and he lives right in the park which is perfect for dogs. He is also a very friendly and approachable person which I find important as you need to feel the ease of communication with the person taking care of your furry family member. Wij passen met het gezin (twee volwassenen en twee pubers) al jaren op honden en poezen van vrienden en bekenden uit de buurt en zorgen met alle liefde ook voor jouw huisdier, hond en of poes. Het liefst gaan we met de hond wandelen in het park, dat kan zijn in het Vondelpark, Westerpark, Sarphathiepark of welk ander park dan ook om heerlijk te kunnen spelen met n bal of iets anders waar de hond dol op is. We houden ervan om samen op pad te zijn maar ook een heerlijke knuffel op zijn tijd vinden we ook belangrijk.

Toen ik op vakantie was heeft Mayke een hele maand op mijn kat Tommie gepast. Ik had niet het idee toen ik hem ophaalde dat hij ook weg wilde ;-) Mayke stuurde elke dag lieve foto’s door en hield me goed op de hoogte. Echt heel erg bedankt Mayke!
