(Note - We speak a little Dutch, but English is our first language!) We zijn al meer dan 25 jaar hondenbezitters en al die honden zijn reddingshonden geweest, dus we zouden in staat moeten zijn om voor honden te zorgen die speciale overwegingen hebben. Ik werk vanuit huis zodat uw hond niet alleen in huis hoeft te blijven. We hebben zelf een hond (mopshond / terriër mix), maar we zullen voorzichtig zijn bij het introduceren van uw hond om er zeker van te zijn dat ze samen gelukkig zijn. Scheiding is mogelijk als dat nodig is of de voorkeur heeft. Ik heb ervaring met verschillende honden van alle groottes. Al mijn persoonlijke honden zijn reddingshonden geweest, dus als uw hond speciale vereisten heeft, kunnen we ze meestal onderbrengen! We hebben een elf jaar oude Pug / West Highland Terrier-kruising. Zijn naam is Buddy.

Karmen,our dog, immediately liked her and she was really enjoying her time with Amrita. I appreciated the communication style of Amrita, who was sharing with me everyday multiple videos and photos of Karmen, this was really helpful as this has been the first time we leave our dog to a petsitter. Lastly, Karmen is an elderly dog with medical needs and specific dietary and Amrita cooperated outstanding. I would definitely recommend her services if you want your dog to be happy and safe!

Bij mij is jouw hond in goede handen. Van kinds af aan was ik dol op honden. Maar mijn ouders dachten daar anders over. Dus paste ik met veel plezier op honden van buurtgenoten. En zodra het kon, heb ik zelf een hond geadopteerd.. Jouw hond krijgt hier persoonlijke aandacht en alle ruimte om hond te zijn. En een fijne plek om uitgelaten te worden rondom de spiegelplas. Bijna elk weekend ga ik naar bos, heide of strand om te wandelen. jouw hond neem ik dan graag mee. Naast mij, kan je hond rekenen op gezelschap van mijn hondje Diva, die met bijna iedereen vriendjes wil worden. Het is niet altijd liefde op het eerste gezicht, maar ze kan met vrijwel alle honden goed overweg. Ik wil met alle liefde jouw hond een fijne tijd bezorgen. De enige voorwaarde is dat je hond niet overmatig blaft, vriendelijk is, met mijn hondje overweg kan en zindelijk is. En even alleen, samen met Diva, kan zijn. Ik ben redelijk flexibel omdat ik regelmatig thuiswerk. Ik ben geen ochtendmens en mijn dag start dan ook liever niet eerder dan 8.30 uur s’morgens. ophalen bij voorkeur tussen 17 en 18 uur. maar zowel breng als haatijd is altijd bespreekbaar. Ik vang maximaal 2 honden op. In onderling overleg is daar wellicht een mouw aan te passen. Ik let er daarbij vooral op dat honden met elkaar overweg kunnen. Verder boek ik liever niet verder dan drie maanden vooruit. Meeting your pet’s needs with empathy and care

I have been a dog owner myself, as well as I have volunteered in an animal shelter for 2 years, so I am incredibly fond of dogs, cats and all other kinds of pets. As I am now a student who has moved away from home (so away from my family pets as well), I miss having animals around a lot. Additionally, since I’ve encountered all sorts pets in all sorts of states and traits, I take the time to introduce myself first, figure out the animal’s needs and only then move further with the care. I have 7 years of experience in taking care of dogs and cats, including the experience at the shelter. I have no preference for pets I sit, as well as I am rather flexible with my schedule - I can be available mornings, afternoons and evenings. I am a loving, gentle and caring sitter, described as "the one that has a way with animals." I find walking and/or sitting them genuinely pleasurable, so I always try to make the visits as warm as possible. Nonetheless, I am aware of the responsibility such care entails and make sure to do everything in my power to avoid any kind of negligence. When petsitting/boarding, I send regular photo updates, don’t leave the animals alone (unless allowed), walk them 3x a day and let them wander freely but safely around the apartment. I walk them regularly to provide toilet breaks as needed, but in cases of little accidents inside the apartment, I make sure to clean it up and generally to keep the pets in safe and higienic conditions. In addition to the > 15 minute walks, pets receive plenty of play time to fulfil their physical activity needs. I remain in consistent communication with the owners and feed/walk/provide medication/etc as instructed by the owners. I also spoil the pets with snacks, if allowed:) Fresh water is always available, as well food is provided as required by the owners. I try to stick to petsitting one animal at a time due to the stress different pets may cause to each other, but if allowed by the owners, I am always happy to sit a few animals at once. In case of an emergency, I will bring the pets to the vet or act in any other required manner as indicated by the owners. When dog walking, I take at least 30 minutes, keep my copy of the key safely, always check if everything is secured before leaving, dress the pet in provided attire if needed, carry the pets up/down the stairs if needed as well. During house visits, I spend at least an hour with the pets, playing with them and making sure they’re fed, walked and happy. I am also happy to house sit if that is preferred by the owners. If agreed in accordance with my schedule, I can house sit for an indefinite time. When house sitting, I always double check if everything is locked/turned off before leaving and/or night time. According to my regular clients, their pets are always excited to come back to my place - hope that would be the case with your pets as well:)

Ik ben opgegroeid met katten, een hond dat uit een asiel is geadopteerd (labrador x stabij) en daarna een border collie x australian shepherd. Zelf heb ik ook kort voor een rescue gezorgd, helaas is deze niet meer bij mij. Ik zou daarom graag weer vaker op honden passen. Wandelen en hardlopen doe ik in m'n vrije tijd al best veel of graag, maar liever samen met een hond (hardlopen met de hond zou in overleg zijn / afhankelijk van of de hond daar behoefte aan heeft). Ik vind het ook heel leuk om te helpen met het trainen, te begeleiden bij hersenwerkjes/puzzels etc. Ik plan graag een kennismaking met jou en je hond(en) in om alles te bespreken. Een proef dag, middag, of overnachting is ook altijd mogelijk. Ik heb tevens (niet in die zin gekwalificeerd of professioneel, maar wel persoonlijke) ervaring met de wat ‘lastigere’ honden en deze zijn in principe en vooral in overleg ook welkom. Het aannemen van meerdere honden van verschillende baasjes gedurende dezelfde periode zal altijd in overleg zijn en ik heb zelf ook de voorkeur om de honden vooraf met elkaar kennis te laten maken. Onze 2 husky’s, gunna en Odin, gaan inmiddels al langere tijd met heel veel plezier naar Hannah. Afgelopen maand zijn wij een maand op vakantie geweest en hebben de honden ruim drie weken bij haar verbleven. Het is echt ontzettend goed gegaan. Hannah zorgt supergoed voor ze. Ze wandelt veel met ze, houdt rekening met wat ze nodig hebben en zorgt ervoor dat ze zowel fysiek als mentaal genoeg uitdaging en aandacht krijgen. We kregen iedere dag fijne updates, waardoor we met een heel gerust gevoel op reis konden zijn. Ze is ontzettend lief, zorgzaam en voorzichtig met de honden en je merkt aan alles dat ze echt om ze geeft. Gunna en Odin zijn helemaal gek op haar en voelen zich duidelijk heel erg op hun gemak bij haar. We hadden ons geen betere oppas kunnen wensen en zouden Hannah zonder twijfel aan iedereen aanraden. Onze honden blijven absoluut bij haar terugkomen!

🐾 A Heartfelt Bond with Dogs - My Story

About Me: Being around animals—especially dogs—has always been more than a hobby for me; it's a way of life. I’ve raised, trained, and rehomed 5 different dogs, each one leaving a lasting pawprint on my heart. The connection I build with them is based on trust, love, and deep communication. I once dreamed of becoming a veterinarian and even completed a 6-month volunteer internship. However, due to my asthma and severe cat allergy, I had to step away from that path. Still, my passion for animals, especially dogs, never faded. Outside of my love for animals, I’ve been involved in professional sports for 10 years and play the guitar as a creative outlet. I’m a physiotherapy graduate and have been working as a personal trainer for the last 3 years. I’ve also built my own brand and coaching system—discipline and care are at the core of everything I do. I provide more than just food and water—I offer companionship, attention, and a safe, loving environment for your dog.
