Grew Up with Dogs, Happy to Care for Yours

I’m 25 and grew up with dogs my whole life. In my photo album, you’ll spot a little version of me with Bella, my first dog. She was a rescue, sweet, nervous, and the ultimate cuddle buddy. Not much of a fetch player though. Losing her was my first real heartbreak. Later came Otto, the fluffy white guy in the other photos. He’s my soulmate in dog form. We did everything together. Cooking, talking, lounging around. He would follow me from room to room like a shadow with a tail. Since moving abroad, I miss him more than anything. Right now I’m not in a place to have a dog of my own, but I really miss the company. I’ve looked after friends’ dogs here and there and thought, why not do it more often. I live with my boyfriend, who also loves dogs and works hybrid, mostly from home. Together, we share the care of any dogs I dog sit, making sure they receive plenty of attention and companionship. If one of us is away, the other is always there, so the dog is never left alone, and if they are, it is only for a very short time. His picture can be seen in the library with the other photos. We’d love to spend time with your dog, spoil them a little, and make them feel at home while you’re away.

Paula was available to dogsit Enzo in very short notice, and accomodated him amazingly. Not only was it very easy to communicate beforehand, on the day itself I received pictures and regular updates, he had nice long walks and loads of cuddles. When he came home, he was super happy and nice and tired of such a lovely day. Enzo will definitely be coming back, if they"ll have them. Thank you so much for the great care.

But I would say I rather feel more comfortable with the small and medium dogs. Since my schedule currently involves only work in an office for some days a week - for a start I would love to just go for a (long) walks or take care of them for a whole day, when I have days off. I’m located in De Baarsjes, but everything that is located in the ring is not a problem for me, since I’m moving by bike all the time! So I am very enthusiastic to spend time and take care of dogs and cats. I had my own dog till 2025 November, currently looking for the right timing to have my new family 🐕 I hosted more than 30 pets in Singapore during 2022-2023, more than 50 pets in Amsterdam since 2023 May including 5 long term foster cares. -SERVICE 🎖️ I will offer dog boarding and day care. My house is just bellow Westerpark, also close to a small park near my house. I normally walk your dog 3 times-every morning, at lunchtime, and at night time to either of the park. If your dog needs more often short walk I will adjust for it. Feeding will be on schedule and I have experience of medication feeding too. For home visit and dog walking, I will only offer if the location is near my residence area. -BOARDING ENVIRONMENT 🏠 I work from home everyday as Project Manager of IT software. I live alone and my house has living room + 1 dining room + 1 bedroom. There are multiple dog beds. So enough space and calm envrionment for your best mates. And the home is very close to westerpark for long walk ! While I have a dog visitor, for less than 3 days I will be at home the whole time except an errand about an hour occasionally. For more than 4 days, I can't promise to stay the house all the time. I may be out from home few hours (less than 5hours), but I will make sure the environemnt is safe and comfortable to them. Maximum dogs number in the house at the same time will be 3 for over night, 4 for day care. Also I am very flexible with drop off and pick up times, as well as stay extention. I am looking forward to seeing your floff family!
