Hello my name is Gemma and I live in an 145 m2 apartment with my husband Ben. We are an Australian couple who have been living and working in the Netherlands for over 3 years. We are both used to having our own pets in Australia (golden retriver, maltese x west highland terrier, british shorthair) however due to work commitments we are unable to commit to having our own here. Therefore, we would love to take care of your dog or cat on the weekend while you are away from home. Our apartment is spacious enough to take care of your pet where they will recieve our full attention and loving care. I can also arrange for a home visit for 30-60 mins where I will spend time with your pet - feeding, playing, scooping the litter box, changing water or just spending time with them. I'll also happily take your dog for a walk to keep them happy and healthy. Whether your dog enjoys a short stroll or a long walk, I'm here to keep them active and engaged.

Gemma and Ben took really good care of my Labradoodle Dalì. She was very relaxed with them, got lots off attention and looked great when we picked her up again.

More recently, my family also adopted a beautiful long-haired silver shaded cat who had been abandoned by his previous owner. Having his in our family has given me even more experience with cats and made me appreciate just how different their personalities can be 🤍 When I look after an animal, my priority is always making sure they feel safe, relaxed and comfortable with me. I genuinely enjoy getting to know their little habits and personalities, whether that means going for walks, playing together, giving them attention, or simply giving them space when that’s what they prefer. Since moving to the Netherlands, I really miss having animals around me, so I’d love to make some more furry friends here and hopefully look after them regularly 🥹 I’ve even somehow become friends with quite a few neighborhood cats around my home — Pablo, Becky, Moses and a few others already know me 😂 When I was still living back home, I regularly looked after Molly, a lovely dog, and Mimi, a little cat, whenever their owners were away. Over time, I got to know them really well, including their different routines, little habits and personalities 🐶🐱Their family later moved to Norway, and this summer I actually travelled there specifically to look after Molly and Mimi again while their owners were away. I stayed with them for a month, keeping them company and making sure they were happy and well cared for. It was honestly such a lovely experience 🥹🤍 For me, pet sitting isn’t just about keeping an animal company while their human is away. beste honden eigenaren, wij wonen heerlijk vrij met een grote omheinde tuin en hebben zelf altijd honden gehad. we hebben 3 jonge kinderen van de leeftijden 0-7 jaar. helaas hebben wij recent onze hond in moeten laten slapen en mis ik uiteraard een leuke hond om ons heen. ik ben veel thuis en ik weet hoe fijn het is om een oppas te hebben waar je je hond zonder zorgen naar toe kan brengen. hier wordt de hond vertroeteld met wandelingen, veel aandacht en gezelligheid. ik wandel altijd in de ochtend, rond lunchtijd en later in de middag. de kinderen hebben altijd honden gehad en zijn heel relaxed en vinden het hartstikke leuk als er een hond is. hierdoor passen we alleen op honden die kleine kinderen ook gewend zijn en geen medische aandoening hebben. uiteraard medicijnen kan zeker wel. onze voorkeur gaat uit naar vakantie oppas en niet naar wekelijks vaste dagen. zo kunnen we zelf kiezen wat wanneer past en is het geen verplichting. zeker buiten de schoolvakanties. wij zouden het heel leuk vinden om de hond wat langer in huis te hebben. dus zoek je een fijn thuis voor je hond tijdens vakanties? neem dan contact op!

Wonderful! Our small dog Binka was well taken care of, and the communication was great. Ekin and Özcan were very attentive and caring, the whole atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and I believe our dog really liked it.

Ik ben opgegroeid met twee katten (lapjeskat en grijze korthaar), die 17 en 19 geworden zijn, en later ook met een hond die via een rescue-organisatie vanuit Athene naar Nederland is gekomen. Doordat hij als puppy op straat had geleefd, had hij zijn hele leven wat moeite met baknijd en hij had een "handleiding". Honden die wat extra aandacht/moeilijkheden hebben zijn daarom ook welkom, met de juiste instructies. Ik woon samen met mijn honden Minnie, die sinds augustus 2024 bij mij is, en Kuri, die sinds september 2025 bij mij is. Minnie heeft gelukkig, ondanks haar verleden, geen last van trauma's. Ze is erg sociaal naar mensen en andere honden toe, maar ze houdt niet van heel drukke honden. Kuri heeft daarentegen wel een rugzakje. Hij is wat terughoudend in het contact met mensen, maar gaat wel goed samen met andere honden, mits ze niet te druk zijn. Windhonden zijn natuurlijk extra welkom 🐕 Ik woon in een appartement van iets meer dan 100m2 met balkon, waar uw huisdier genoeg ruimte zal hebben om te spelen, om samen te zijn of juist om zich even af te zonderen. Vlakbij zijn verscheidene parken, met losloopgebieden, waar uw hond met plezier kan wandelen! 🐕 Ik ben altijd omringd geweest door dieren, op een gegeven moment hadden we thuis zelfs zes huisdieren. Nu heb ik Minnie, maar wat betreft huisdieren bestaat er niet zoiets als "teveel"; hoe meer zielen, hoe meer vreugd! Ik zou daarom graag op uw huisdieren passen en zal ze behandelen alsof ze mijn eigen zijn! 🐶💖

Master to 8 dogs (But at home in India.)

I had 10 dogs back home but when I moved to Netherlands, I miss the presence of my pets and would love to host the dogs for the par time. As I am not sure with my future here, so it is difficult to have a pet permanently. Hence I thought it is the best option to sign up for this website. I live in a studio, where I have a huge terrace which will be enough for the pet. i live just next to station which makes it convenient for the owners to pick up and drop the dogs.

Satvik was very relaxed and calm, even if my dog was not early on! He kept me updated and informed during the day, and when I collected my dog she was relaxed and happy!
