Rick is amazing. He is very reliable, and Saar felt completely at ease. He creates nice spots where she can lie down undisturbed. He is caring and kind, and he sends regular updates and photos. Highly recommended!

DUTCH: Ik ben zeer verantwoordelijk, ben dol op honden, het uitlaten, spelen en met ze knuffelen. Ik pas mij gemakkelijk aan de regels waar je huisdier al aan gewend is. Ik pas het liefst op honden die max. een half uur per x uit moeten (al ben ik dol op af en toe een lange wandeling te maken). Het enige waar ik mee heb, is 'valse' honden, ofwel honden die agressief zijn aangelegd waar je erg streng tegen moet zijn. Ik laat zeker zien wie 'de leider' is, maar vind het fijn om onbezorgd de hond uit te kunnen laten. Ik ben in het algemeen een dierenliefhebber, dus voor katten of andere dieren mag je me ook zeker benaderen! Ik heb de meeste ervaring met honden, katten, konijnen en vogels. Locaties: Amsterdam west (hoge voorkeur), Amsterdam centrum & zuid, Amstelveen. Locaties inc. gebruik mogelijk van een auto: Haarlem, Overveen, Amsterdam noord, Amsterdam oost en zuidoost. Talen: Ik spreek Engels, Spaans en Nederlands vloeiend. Reviews: Ik heb nog niet eerder via petbnb aan housesitting gedaan maar kan je voorzien van meerdere positieve reviews die ik via andere wijze heb gevonden! --- ENGLISH: I am very responsible, love dogs, walking them, playing and cuddling them. I easily adapt to the rules that your pet is already used to. I prefer to take care of dogs that need to be out for a maximum of half an hour each time (although I love to take a long walk every now and then). The only thing I have a problem with is 'cheat' dogs, or dogs that are aggressive and you have to be very strict with them. I certainly show who 'the leader' is, but I like being able to walk the dog without any worries. I am an animal lover in general, so you can definitely contact me for cats or other animals! I have the most experience with dogs, cats, rabbits and birds. Locations: Amsterdam west (high preference), Amsterdam center & south, Amstelveen. Locations inc. use of a car possible: Haarlem, Overveen, Amsterdam north, Amsterdam east and southeast. Languages: I speak English, Spanish and Dutch fluently. I always exchange with friends to look after each other's dogs when we go on holidays. My last chow died at the age of 15 in March. I'm not ready for a new one but would love to be around with man's best friends again. I live in a pet-proof apartment with doggy door to the terrace facing south with green view. The building also has lift. The neiboughhood is very green, literally a dog park under my balcony. there are lake and grasslands nearby, perfect for walking dogs. The building also has lift. Last but not least, my partner and I have lived together since 2007, now both of us work from home and love dogs dearly, I guarantee we will have lot of time to play with your babies! ☺️😛 Ik had 4 honden in mijn 44 jarige leven. Duitse herder in mijn jeugd, en drie chows in de laatste 15 jaar. Ik ruil altijd met vrienden om op op elkaars honden te passen als we op vakantie gaan. Mijn laatste chow stierf op 15-jarige leeftijd in maart. Maart. Ik ben nog niet toe aan een nieuwe, maar... maar ik zou graag weer bij de beste vrienden. Ik woon in een huisdier-proof appartement met honden deur naar het terras op het zuiden met groen uitzicht. Het gebouw heeft ook een lift. De buurt is erg groen, letterlijk een hondenpark onder mijn balkon. Er zijn meer en graslanden in de buurt, perfect om te wandelen honden. Het gebouw heeft ook een lift. Last but not least, mijn partner en ik hebben wonen samen sinds 2007, nu werken we allebei werken vanuit huis en houden veel van honden, ik garanderen dat we veel tijd hebben om te spelen met uw baby's! ❤️

We had a great experience with Dillon and would definitely book with him again. He took excellent care of Hilbert, regularly sent us lovely videos from their walks, gave him the medication he needed, and even kept his health tracker charged. Everything went smoothly, and it was clear that Hilbert was well looked after throughout his stay. Highly recommended!

Wij wandelen dagelijks meerdere stukken door parken en groen om ons huis. Ideaal om een vrolijke viervoeter mee te nemen! Ons huis staat open voor gezelligheid en is schoon en veilig voor elke hond. Ik word blij van blije honden!

Het leukste aan honden vind ik de blijheid als je thuiskomt! Lekker even knuffelen en daarna wandelen in de buitenlucht. Mijn hond weet altijd meteen waar hij naartoe wil lopen en gaat overal enthousiast snuffelend heen, maar ook rustigere honden die even moeten wennen vind ik lieverds. Ik weet hoe fijn het is als je weet dat je hond niet al te lang alleen thuis is. Ik kijk het liefst samen met de hond (of door naar de hond te kijken) wat het leukste is voor ons om te doen. Zo weet ik bijvoorbeeld dat mijn hond het liefst buiten zijn eten eet, komt zelf knuffels halen als hij dat wil, houdt van ballen gooien en vooral van rondsnuffelen. Honden om je heen hebben is gewoon leuk!

easy going dog sitting in Amsterdam west

My boyfriend Tim and I love dogs. I grew up in a vet family with loads of pets and all sorts of dogs around. Since our Cypriot dog passed away last year we have been dog sitting various neighborhood furry friends. We work from home most of the time, which gives us flexibility to do frequent walks and little adventures. We live right next to Erasmus and Rembrandt park. If time permits and if your dog is up for it, we love going to the forest or the beach. The appartment isn’t huge but well catered for a dog, and we love playing and training with dogs as well. The house is only accessible by stairs.

Tesse and Tim alternated the walks with - and care for - Felan. He loved them equally. On the pictures sent by Tesse an Tim is clearly visible that Felan had a great time when they sat him. Communication went smoothly, all in all I can only hope that we can prolongue this petsitting arrangement in the future.

Lief, zorgzaam en dol op honden!

Mijn eerste woorden als kind waren: “Mag ik alsjeblieft een hond?” Sindsdien is mijn liefde voor honden eigenlijk nooit meer weggegaan. Ze maken me ontzettend blij! Helaas is het als student in Amsterdam niet zo makkelijk om zelf een hond te hebben. Daarom vind ik het juist ontzettend leuk om op die van anderen te passen. Experienced dog lover offering reliable, thoughtful care while you’re away! I grew up around dogs my entire life, and therefore have plenty of experience. I understand how important it is to make them feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I work from home Monday and Fridays and therefore have a lot of flexibility for walks, cuddles and attention throughout the day. The weekends I don’t work so even better.
