Pet Nutritionist looking for extra furry friends

Hi, I’m Alice, 31 and relocated to the Netherlands from the UK. I have always grown up with dogs and currently have two dogs in the UK (Hope and Duke in my pictures) who I miss a lot so I thought Pet BNB would be the perfect opportunity to spend more time with four legged friends, whilst also helping their owners. I have also worked in the Petfood industry for the past 8 years as a Pet Nutritionist, so I hope you feel reassured that your dog will be in the best hands! I can also give you some bonus feeding advice for free if you should need it! Finally, due to working full time and my company’s expectations of office days - I will need to be flexible with the days I offer to pet owners and their pets. If you’d like to book in a set day with me to walk or petsit then Mondays or Fridays work best during the week. My availability Tuesday through to Thursday may vary depending on my working week but I do try and always keep my calendar up to date. I look forward to looking after your dog in the future! Best Wishes, Alice

Alice is an amazing caretaker 🐕:heartpulse: Ciri adores her:grin:

Reliable & caring dog sitter

I have over eight years of experience caring for dogs, from puppies to senior dogs, ensuring their happiness, safety, and well-being. I offer a balance of exercise, playtime, and relaxation tailored to each dog’s needs. Activities include walks for exercise and stimulation, play sessions with their favorite toys, and cuddle time to make them feel at home. For energetic dogs familiar with running, we’ll enjoy a run at the beach, while older pets get gentle strolls and comfort. I also manage feeding routines, administer medications if needed, and provide regular updates to owners (and pics if the dog feels photogenic ) for peace of mind. Feel free to reach out if you have more questions!

Christina is great with dogs and Sepp is very comfortable around her. Great balance between active walks and lots of napping.

Puppy day is a happy day

Hello!😊 I'm Lilian, 29, from Greece. I decided to become a pet sitter because I miss my own dog and cat back home, and I love being around animals. I'm that person who makes silly voices at every dog and cat I see on the street!🙉😻🥰 I would love to spend more time with animals, so I'm available for daycare and hosting your pet at my place. I promise your dog will be treated like a precious baby, but of course, I'll follow all your rules.😎 I've grown up with pets my whole life, so I'm confident your dog will have a wonderful time with me. Plus, my boyfriend and I share a new apartment, and he's just as dog-obsessed as I am!🤩 **Important note: If your booking is accepted, please share all the important details about your dog (even the tricky ones!) so I can give them the best care possible. I also kindly ask that your pup arrives clean and fresh—this way we can all enjoy a cozy and comfortable environment together.** Feel free to contact me anytime! Paws and cuddles, Lilian😊

Testimonial

To Whom It May Concern, I’m writing to recommend Lilian Grammarikoudi as the best and most loving pet sitter. I have been knowing her since we were kids, and I've seen firsthand how much she loves and cares for animals. She grew up with three pets in her apartment, and she treated them like family. She’s got a natural knack for understanding and looking after them, always making sure they're happy, protected and healthy. Lilian has taken care of many stray animals, helping them to find a right family and environment for them! She knows more than anyone else I know about dogs and cat' and how to keep them safe and happy. I know that having her as your pet sitter it will be the best decision and your pet will have a new friend! Best, Vasilia

Great experience! She was quick to reply, everything went smoothly, and she took great care of my girlfriend’s older cat. She even left a small gift, which was such a lovely and thoughtful touch. Would definitely recommend her!

Your dog’s bestfriends

We both grew up with dogs around us and love to spend time with them. We have taken care of other dogs during our master’s studies and had a great time. We would like to help other pet parents like ourselves take care of their pets when they need to go away. We are available mostly during the weekends and sometimes during the week days. Whether you need day care or overnight stay, we are available for both. Minnie our toy poodle is very friendly and social and loves to play with other dogs. :) Looking forward to making new pawy best friends for her (and us).

Maria and Harsh are very sweet people, Sonny had a great time with Minnie! Thanks!!!

From Jack Russells to Ridgebacks

I recently swapped my desk job in sustainability consulting for the great outdoors to follow my true passion, caring for dogs. I wanted to trade my computer screen for fresh air, active days, and meaningful, offline connections. Growing up, I was surrounded by dogs of all sizes, from energetic Jack Russells and cheeky Pointers to friendly Retrievers and Ridgebacks. Because of this, I am deeply comfortable with all breeds and temperaments. I build an excellent rapport with dogs instantly and always treat them as my own. Your pup will receive my full attention, plenty of exercise, and the highest level of care!

Twiggy is not the easiest dog to handle, she is quite anxious and has her moods. but Sarah did a great job. Twiggy trusted her and spent a great time at Sarah’s place. The communication with Sarah was very easy and nice, she was also quite flexible accommodating the timing of bringing Twiggy. Everything went very well and I would totally reach out again if I need a place for Twiggy to stay 😊

lopen met een nieuw vriendje in Amsterdamse Bos!

Hallo! Mijn naam is Chantal.

Liefs, Fee

Fee is exceptionally pleasant, it was my first time leaving my puppy and immediately Fee welcomed us, I felt reassured he’s in good hands. Fee is warm and gentle and I picked up my puppy in good/high spirit. I definitely would use Fee’s services again and I 100% recommend. Heel erg bedankt Fee :white_heart:

Animal Lover with a big heart and tiny apartment

Hello, my name is Aja (pronounced like the continent, "Asia") and I am new to Amsterdam (originally from Toronto, but have been living in NYC for the past 3 years). I've been living away from my super sweet husky, Abel, and bengal cat, Apollo, for over 3 years and miss being around animals. I have experience training, walking and sitting for my friends' dogs & cats in New York and would love to offer my services here. I've been a dog-sitter for cockapoos, boston terriers, french bulldogs & yorkies. Mainly small dogs, but my family dog is a husky so I am no stranger to walking a big dog down city sidewalks. I'm open to walking, daycare, housesitting or drop-ins. Whatever's needed! I am happy to help :)

Aja is awesome! Chief just loved her and she was so kind and attentive to him. He was so well cared for. I know he will be so excited to see her again! Thank you Aja!!

Caring Petsitter

Hi! I’m an international Master’s student at the VU. In my free time, I love meeting as many pets as possible! I’ve cared for many friends’ dogs and cats, lived with a dog for two years, and grew up with a cat at my parents’ home. I also volunteered at a dog shelter, so I’m comfortable with different temperaments and needs. I love dogs and cats equally, and they always seem to connect with me. I’m quiet, friendly, and clean, and I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. What I Offer: Dog walks or visits in the morning or in the evening House sitting (including walks as often as your dog is used to) Plenty of cuddles, attention, and care I look forward to meeting your fur babies 💕

Iris looked after our two dogs, Maggie and Britian, while we were away on holiday, and she was absolutely wonderful. One of our dogs is unwell and required special care and close, watchful attention, and Iris handled this with incredible care, calmness, and responsibility. Both dogs clearly adored her — they were happy, relaxed, and very well cared for when we returned. She walked them twice a day, kept us updated with regular messages and photos, and it was incredibly reassuring to see how attentive and thoughtful she was throughout our time away. On top of that, we came home to a clean and well-looked-after house. Iris is caring, reliable, and genuinely kind, and we felt completely at ease knowing our dogs and home were in such good hands. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional pet sitter.

Shelter Dogs | Animal Behaviour Student

Hello there! After exploring different paths, I realized that my heart has always been with animals, so I decided to follow my childhood dream of working with them. I’m now a Clinical Animal Behavior student, and I couldn’t be more excited to turn something I love so much into my future career. I also volunteer at DOA, the largest animal shelter in the Netherlands, where I work with dogs from all kinds of backgrounds and personalities. I help with socialization, basic training, and supporting dogs with different behavioral needs. I’ve completed training focused on fearful and reactive dogs, as well as an 8-week course tailored to an individual dog’s needs. My sweetheart Milo crossed the rainbow bridge in June, and he’s the biggest reason I decided to follow this path. Spending time with other dogs is one of the ways I still feel close to him and I know he’d be happy to see me doing this. ❤️ Having loved Milo as much as I did, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. If it were up to us, we’d take them everywhere but sometimes that’s not possible. So no worries, I’ll treat them like my own and keep you updated with plenty of pictures and little updates along the way. 😊 I live with my boyfriend, and we both have flexible schedules. Our place is just 15 minutes from Vondelpark and close to two local dog parks, so your dog will have plenty of opportunities to sniff, explore, and have fun. A few things to know: ✅ I can administer oral medication. ✅ I'm experienced with puppies and senior dogs. ✅ I only board dogs that get along well with cats, so we can make sure our princess Zelda stays safe. 🐱❤️ ✅ Since we live in a small apartment, I only accept one small-medium sized dog, or up to two small dogs from the same household, so everyone has enough space to relax and feel comfortable. ✅ Meet & greets are always welcome before the stay. I look forward to hearing from you!

Bruna is an amazing petsitter! She was very good with Nina, has a lot of experience with dogs and is also very communicative and proactive. She took Nina for walks, updated us with pictures and videos and we could tell Nina had the best time :) Definitely recommend!

Caring, Affectionate, Active

Hi! I’m a big animal lover with a very soft spot for furry friends. I treat every pet like my own and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I really enjoy going on walks, especially in parks and nature, and I’m always happy to follow your pet’s usual routine and pace. I grew up surrounded by animals — cats, dogs, fish, turtles, rabbits, and even chickens — so being around pets has always felt like home to me. I often look after my friends’ pets when they’re away and have experience with many different breeds, big and small. I’m originally from Cyprus (the land of cats!), so I get along especially well with cats — we seem to understand each other right away. I love giving lots of cuddles, pets, and attention, and I’ll make sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away 💕🐶🐱

Was an easy communication, everything went really smooth and Yoda got used to her quickly 🙏:sun_with_face:

The Biggest Animal Lover You’ll Ever Meet

I grew up with all types of animals back in North Carolina, from dogs to lizards, you name it. I learned how to care for creatures, big to small, whether they were my own pets or not. While living in Amsterdam for 9 years I have taken on a few opportunities to pet sit and loved it. Now that I have two cats (one even had kittens last summer!) at home, I sadly can’t do boarding like I used to, but I’m happy to get outside for some fresh air with a walk or two, and pop by a home to check on the fur babies. I have plenty of experience (especially lately) staying overnight to care for pets and have references! Having just quit the corporate life to take the leap of starting my own business, I have the flexibility and am happy to spend some hours throughout the week caring for animals.

Pet lover, happy to care for your dog :))

My name is Irina and I am currently living in Amstelveen with my dog, but would love to take about other animals as well. Unfortunately, due to my studies, I don’t have a lot of time during the weekdays, but am totally free during the weekend and available for long walks with your pet, drop-in visits or house sitting. I love all animals, but dogs definitely hold a special place in my heart, which is why I am happy to give your pet my time, care and ensure their mental and physical enrichment. I am new to this app, but have a lot of experience with dogs, as I have my own large breed dog for almost 8 years. I have also taken care of the animals of my friends and family, and have volunteered in the animal shelter, where I had to work with difficult dogs, that have unfortunate past experiences. Through my whole life, I have spent a lot of time with different dogs, including some very small and very large breeds, young puppies or senior pets, and I love them all! I believe that all dogs deserve a chance and proper care.

Loving care for your pets while you are away. 🐾

I grew up surrounded by animals, especially cats and dogs, and have always loved spending time with them, whether going for walks, playing or simply cuddling. I have a playful Labrador of my own, so I am used to plenty of energy, games and affection!
