Hi, my name is Jana :) I am a 28-year-old woman living in de Baarsjes in Amsterdam West. I originally come from the Czech Republic from a small town called Zlin. I love taking care of dogs as well as cats and overall being around animals ever since I was a small child. As for your dog pets, I enjoy going for long walks and teaching them some simple tricks, such as to sit or to lay down. Additionally, I used to take care of my neighbour's dogs on a daily basis back when I lived in the Czech Republic and nowadays, I babysit my friend's dog time to time. I just finished studying a master's program called Environment and Resource Management at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Currently, I’m searching for a job. Loving and experienced care by Oosterpark!

Hi! I’m a second-year political science student with a big love for animals and lots of experience in caring for them. While my own two dogs—a calm and sweet 9-year-old brown Labrador and a velcro-dog 2-year-old Chihuahua—are currently back home in France with my family, I’ve been surrounded by pets most of my life. I also spent six years abroad when I was younger, where I had eight rabbits, and I’ve looked after cats and dogs of all kinds, including terriers and a Golden Retriever. Here in Amsterdam, I live with roommates who have pets of their own back home; a cat and two Chihuahuas. So we're all used to caring for animals. I’m used to animals with different personalities, and I especially love spending time with affectionate, velcro-type dogs who like to stick close and get plenty of attention. I’m also happy to play, cuddle, or just be a calming presence for older pets. We live just a two-minute walk from Oosterpark, which is perfect for regular walks and playtime if your dog needs a lot of outside time. There’s almost always someone home, so your pet will rarely be alone and I can guarantee will get plenty of love and attention throughout the day. I can also help with oral medication if your dog needs it mixed into food, as I've done this with my Labrador. One thing to note however, our apartment is on the second floor with typical Amsterdam stairs. Most dogs manage just fine, but if your animal has mobility issues, it’s something to consider. I’m available any time and happy to help, whether it’s for a weekend, a longer stay, or a last-minute booking. Your pet will be cared for in a friendly, safe, and relaxed environment where we'll make sure they'll feel right at home!

Hondenliefhebber 🐶

Het lijkt me leuk om te mogen zorgen voor uw hond en buiten te wandelen, te spelen, en te knuffelen (als zij dat ook willen natuurlijk!). Ik ben als student nog heel flexibel in mijn beschikbaarheid en zeer zorgvuldig in mijn planning zodat ik genoeg tijd kan maken voor jouw maatje :) Ik heb vroeger met mijn ouders een oude belgische herder uit het asiel in huis genomen om hem een leukere plek te geven tot zijn overlijden. Ik werkte destijds ook als vrijwilliger in het asiel bij de honden. Mijn opa had ook altijd een hond en ik vind het erg leuk om met honden te werken en hun persoonlijkheid beter te leren kunnen. Ik woon in Amsterdam Oost vlakbij park Frankendael op de begane grond, dus ook honden die moeite hebben met trappen zouden hier langs kunnen komen.

Hoi, wij zijn Wessel en Lieke! Wat meer informatie over ons: - Wij wonen in Haarlem in een huis met een tuin samen met onze 2 kleine kindjes (2,5 jaar & 1 jaar ). Er is dus veel energie om te spelen en knuffelen. De hond moet wel goed met jonge kinderen om kunnen gaan. - We hebben allebei een 100% flexibel thuiswerkbeleid, dus er werkt altijd een van ons twee thuis. Grote kans dat we tijdens het oppassen allebei thuis willen werken 😉 Dus sowieso veel aandacht en gezelligheid voor de hond; - Naast vele parken om uit te laten hebben wij ook een auto dus we pakken ook graag de auto om met de hond naar het bos of het strand te gaan; - Voor ons is het echt een feestje om op te passen, dus we doen ons uiterste best om het voor de hond net zo leuk te maken als het voor ons is.

Dog lover with years of experience

I had lots of shelter dogs and one ex laboratory beagle. All of them had their own backpacks and needed a warm and loving house so they could grew old in peace. One of my dogs had epilepsy so he needed medication, another one needed specialised food so I know how to deal with that. My last dog passed away a year ago and I miss having a dog badly so hence this profile. I have a very kind and loving character and I’m super patient when it comes to dealing with a dog that has some particularities. I work from home so I’m super flexible and can’t wait to have some nice long walks again.

Ilse was great and very friendly. Our dog was very comfortable around her. However we had to end terms with her 2 days before because there were lot of fire crackers in Amsterdam and our dog was very scared. Not a great place for dogs during new years. Otherwise Ilse is great:slight_smile:

Betrouwbare, vriendelijke en rustige oppas

Al sinds ik heel jong ben, ben ik gewend aan dieren om me heen. Ik zou mezelf dan ook omschrijven als een echte dierenvriend. Mijn ouders hebben een labradoodle en daardoor heb ik ook ervaring met het passen op honden. Ze hebben ook altijd katten gehad, dus ik weet ook goed hoe ik met hen om moet gaan. Als ik nu op een huisdier van iemand zou passen, dan zou ik er voor zorgen dat het dier zich op zijn/haar gemak voelt en er rustig mee om gaan. En ik zou luisteren naar de behoeftes van het baasje en me daar netjes aan houden.

Onze Monty was bij Berber in goede handen. Ze is betrouwbaar, op tijd en heel vriendelijk. Monty heeft een heerlijke wandeling gehad!

Up for running around or pets and cuddles!

Have just moved to the Netherlands from Ireland and have had to leave my family dogs behind- missing company on my walks and evening cuddles. I know how to tire a dog out with a good walk (and lots of patient sniff stops of they’re that way inclined!) or give them attention if that’s what they need. I understand that all owners have their own way with their pets and am more than happy to follow those rules too. Was never lucky enough to have a cat due to family member allergies so am very excited to get to spend some time with some. Hondenoppas met veel ervaring met grote honden

Als ervaren hondenbezitter heb ik jarenlang met veel plezier een Oud-Duitse Herder en een Berner Sennen gehad. Hierbij heb ik zelf de volledige opvoeding gedaan en ben daardoor goed bekend met het gedrag, de behoeften en de kracht van grote honden. Overigens zijn kleine honden ook welkom. Op dit moment heb ik zelf even geen tijd om weer een hond te nemen, maar wél de tijd, ruimte en aandacht om op te passen. Ik heb een gelijkvloers huis met tuin, wat ideaal is voor honden die graag makkelijk naar buiten gaan of minder goed trappen lopen. Vanwege een tijd in het buitenland te hebben gewoond is mijn profiel verwijderd, dus heb helaas nog geen reviews.
