Hi! 🐶💚 I’ve been surrounded by dogs for most of my life and have many years of hands-on experience caring for them. I’ve had three Boxers of my own, so I’m very familiar with strong, energetic dogs, big personalities and all the love (and stubbornness! 😄) that can come with them. I recently lost my beloved dog, and creating this profile feels like a meaningful way to stay connected with dogs and continue sharing the love and care I have for them. While I’m still grieving, spending time with dogs brings me comfort and joy, and I would be honoured to care for yours. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of different ages, sizes and temperaments, including senior dogs and dogs with behavioural challenges or who may be reactive around other dogs. I understand that every dog is different and I’m happy to adapt walks, routines and interactions to what makes them feel safest and most comfortable. I also have experience administering medication 💊 and caring for dogs that need a little extra attention, patience or a specific routine. Your dog will get plenty of affection, attention, playtime and walks 🐾 while always respecting their personality, energy level and needs. Overdag verblijven de honden in een gezamenlijke, volledig afgesloten buitenruimte, waar ze sociaal contact en beweging krijgen. ’s Avonds gaan ze naar individuele, comfortabele binnenruimtes, zodat iedere hond in alle rust te eten krijgt en kan slapen. sommige honden zijn liever met z’n tweeën in de nacht, ook dat is mogelijk. we bekijken per hond wat gewenst is. Tijdens koude nachten, zijn de nachtverblijven verwarmd. Of is er juist interesse in een rustige, huiselijke omgeving voor uw kat? Dit bieden wij ook aan. Uw kat zal binnen verblijven en zo de rust en aandacht krijgen die deze verdient. Voor de katten is er een ingerichte kattenverblijf waar ze kunnen acclimatiseren na de reis en in een onbekende omgeving komen. Alvorens ze kunnen genieten van een rustig verblijf. Helemaal tevreden! Finn kon op korte termijn bij Ilse terecht, dat was heel fijn. Blij met de filmpjes die tussendoor zijn gestuurd. Finn is prima verzorgd.

Leuke lieve oppas

Wij hebben zelf altijd honden gehad (schapendoes, wolfskees). Nu hebben we een bernedoodle. Wij hebben 4 kinderen die opgegroeid zijn met dieren en het leuk vinden om met ze te spelen en te knuffelen. Mijn kinderen gaan vaak mee de hond uitlaten, zij zijn echt dol op dieren. Ze zouden het leuk vinden om ook andere honden uit te laten en lekker mee te knuffelen maar meestal wandel ik alleen. Mocht uw hond niet met andere honden samen kunnen, of niet met kinderen, geef dit even aan dan houd ik hier rekening mee. Hier logeren is ook een optie maar is erg beperkt. Hier ben ik best kieskeurig in. Hij/zij moet nl goed samen gaan met kleine kinderen en een grote hond. Ook mag hij/zij niet veel blaffen en in de nacht in een bench slapen. We houden van een logeerhondje maar dit moet een 'feestje' zijn voor beide! Komt je hondje voor de eerste keer bij ons thuis? Dan plannen we eerst een ochtend in (€15,-) om te kijken of het een 'match' is.

Verantwoordelijke en liefdevolle hondenoppas

Wij hebben zelf al jarenlang 2 honden (een Siberische husky en een Yorkshire Terrier) waar we met veel liefde voor zorgen. Wij passen ook graag op andere honden, en daarnaast zouden onze honden het leuk vinden om af en toe een speelkamaraadje op bezoek te hebben. Dit is vaak mogelijk overdag op zaterdag en/of zondag. Honden kunnen niet bij ons overnachten. We hebben een ruime tuin die geheel is afgesloten via een houten schutting. De honden kunnen dus lekker spelen op het gras in de tuin, zonder dat ze kunnen weglopen. We wonen verder in een groene omgeving, dus de honden kunnen heerlijk wandelen.

Omdat ik weet hoe belangrijk het is dat een hond goed verzorgd wordt als het baasje even weg is, help ik graag mee. Of het nu gaat om een dagje oppas of een logeerpartijtje: jouw hond is van harte welkom! Laat vooral een berichtje achter als je interesse hebt of vragen wilt stellen!

Meagan heeft een dag op onze Brobbie gepast. Heel fijn dat ze ons op korte termijn kon helpen. We hebben Brobbie met een gerust gevoel achter gelaten en aan het einde van de dag vond hij het zelfs jammer om weg te gaan! Gedurende de dag een leuk berichtje met wat foto's gekregen. We zouden Meagan zeker aanraden als oppas en brengen Brobbie zelf ook graag nog een keertje bij haar als we opzoek zijn naar een oppas.

Ik ben mijn hele leven al gek op honden en sinds vijf jaar is mijn labradoodle Dolly een groot onderdeel van mijn leven. Ze is ontzettend sociaal en vindt het altijd gezellig om andere honden om zich heen te hebben. Omdat ik veel thuis ben, lijkt het me ontzettend leuk om samen met Dolly op andere honden te passen. Dolly en ik lopen minimaal drie keer per dag een groot rondje. Buiten is ze lekker speels en enthousiast, terwijl ze binnenshuis juist rustig en relaxed is. Ze kan goed met andere honden overweg en vindt het vooral leuk om samen te spelen en op pad te gaan. Ik vind het belangrijk dat een hond zich bij ons net zo comfortabel voelt als thuis. Daarom neem ik graag de tijd om hem of haar aandacht te geven, lekker te wandelen en natuurlijk ook gewoon gezellig samen te zijn.

Iris looked after our two dogs, Maggie and Britian, while we were away on holiday, and she was absolutely wonderful. I have had dogs my whole life, they were my whole life. I moved from the English countryside to Amsterdam. It is now more difficult for me to commit to owning a dog full time. So, what better way than to spread my love for dogs, with all the dogs out there that need a new friend. Whether that is for a walk, a night, a weekend stay or a week. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing dogs live their best life. I now live looking over a huge park, watching the dogs run around makes me miss spending time with my pups. We left Luna for the first time and were very worried at first. But all our worries disappeared when we met Jadina and her partner! They are so kind and took amazing care of Luna. They kept sending us pictures every day, so we knew she was doing well. We were so happy that Luna was with them, and we’ll definitely leave her with them again next time we’re away :)

Please read all the info below before making your booking! I have been around and taken care of dogs my entire life. We had two dogs when I was a child I was trusted taking care of and walk during my lunch breaks at school from a very young age. My family travelled a lot when I was young and wherever we went I would find packs of street dogs to play with, which now when I’m a parent sounds insane (and quite dangerous) but it very much shaped how I see and relate to dogs and taught me how to communicate, read body language and understand pack dynamic. I have adopted and fostered many dogs throughout my life, and have been watching and training dogs for friends and family over the years many times. Also very interested in dog psychology and behaviour in general, and their inner workings is a genuine interest for me. Dog sitting is my full time job, I’m very good at it and take it seriously. I usually spend most of my days outside with the dogs I have, it’s great for exercise and socialising and we all enjoy fresh air and sunshine. I also enjoy to bring them along for outings or other activities since I love the company. My kids are at school during the day so I have lots of time and I really enjoy walking and being outside so it’s absolutely not a chore. Different dogs have different needs of course and I do my best to accommodate that. I love biking with dogs since you can sort of “play run” together and it’s a great way to get a lot of exercise for high energy dogs, and even if a dog is not used to running next to a bike, most get the hang of it fast and I am of course very careful to make sure there’s no accidents. My house is also full of toys, activity puzzles and games, it’s important they get mental simulation as well physical. My kids are good and calm with animals, and love dogs so they are delighted about weekend stays but of course they don’t walk them and I generally don’t leave my kids alone with the dogs I host. Our cat Styx, a Maine Coon male, is raised around dogs and makes friends with most of them given a bit of time, even dogs that otherwise goes nuts when they see a cat outside! We live in a house with a lift so larger or older dogs doesn’t have to climb down stairs, the flat itself has three floors so easy and spacious with the cat living upstairs and visiting dogs downstairs. Some dogs I have regularly of course get upstairs privileges when we’re all comfortable together and maybe aren’t covered in mud! The size of the flat does also mean I can easily keep dogs and cats separated so there’s never been an issue in all the years I’ve been doing this. The downstairs floor is also large enough to keep dogs separated if necessary, I have lots of fences and baby gates I can set up. The terrace is great for fresh air and playtime. We also live very close to many green areas suitable for off leash walking, biking and swimming. I have experience with and really enjoy large dogs and don’t mind being out entire days with wolf/working breeds if they need it. My philosophy is that a dog that is provided a lot of exercise, play, boundaries, structure and a calm and assertive pack leader will be a happy and balanced one! Please note! -Do provide food, toys, chew bones, treats and toilet bags for your dogs visit. If requested I can provide this but will ask to be refunded for any additional expenses. I have lots of bowls, towels and beds etc so no need to bring that. -If your dog needs a lot of special attention, is not fully house trained or have a very labour intensive schedule you need to inform me of this in advance so we can discuss. Also if your dog can’t be together with other dogs or off leash I need to know before we finalise the booking. -I can’t accept dogs with severe behavioural problems or that barks a lot. If there are undisclosed issues like aggression, barking or destructive/unmanageable behaviour I reserve the right to terminate the booking and request you to find another arrangements for the rest of the stay, or I will ask an extra fee so be aware of this. Please don’t downplay issues since that will only cause trouble for everyone involved later on. -I will accept bookings for cats if they are spayed/neutered and very good with other cats, dogs and kids. My Experience with Dogs & Cats: A Lifelong Story My story with animals isn't something I learned—it’s who I am. Since I was a child dreaming of being a vet, my life has been woven together with the lives of animals. My journey started early, as the neighborhood’s trusted 8-year-old who would eagerly run over to walk dogs or babysit cats. I was a familiar face at local vet clinics, always asking to help. My first formal volunteer role was helping an organization care for strays, preparing them for their vet visits. A pivotal chapter began when I was 10, at a shelter within a veterinary university. Every day after school, my ritual was to walk my two proudly named furry friends, Guinness and Hennessy. I didn't just walk them; I played with them, fed them, cleaned their enclosures, and even began exploring my passion for training. As a teenager, I launched my own mini dog-walking business, and the response was overwhelming! I was responsibly caring for 7-10 dogs every single day. My clients ranged from clever Shiba Inus to gentle giant Saint Bernards. My duties were comprehensive: long, energetic walks, washing muddy paws, feeding, and providing loving babysitting for pets whose owners worked long hours. I became a true part of their families and still cherish the memories of watching those little puppies grow into magnificent dogs. Even at boarding school, I founded an Animal Volunteering Club to ensure my friends and I could continue visiting shelters. I am an early bird and available for walks as early as 6:00 AM. On most weekdays, I am free after 5:00 PM, and I can often accommodate afternoon visits by arrangement. Weekends are generally wide-open and fully available.

Anna was an amazing pet and house sitter! She kept us updated and our dog Pierogi loved her. We will definitely hire her again in the future.

Hoi, we zijn dus een moeder en een zoon (10 ja) die graag willen ervaren hoe zou het zijn een hondje of poes oppassen voor we zelfs een huisdier krijgen. We houden van wandelen in de natuur maar leuker met een 4potjes vriendje. Ze zijn beperk beschikbaar vanwegen werk en school maar als we thuis zijn, passen we graag voor jou beste vriend. Meeting your pet’s needs with empathy and care

I have been a dog owner myself, as well as I have volunteered in an animal shelter for 2 years, so I am incredibly fond of dogs, cats and all other kinds of pets. As I am now a student who has moved away from home (so away from my family pets as well), I miss having animals around a lot. Additionally, since I’ve encountered all sorts pets in all sorts of states and traits, I take the time to introduce myself first, figure out the animal’s needs and only then move further with the care. I have 7 years of experience in taking care of dogs and cats, including the experience at the shelter. I have no preference for pets I sit, as well as I am rather flexible with my schedule - I can be available mornings, afternoons and evenings. I am a loving, gentle and caring sitter, described as "the one that has a way with animals." I find walking and/or sitting them genuinely pleasurable, so I always try to make the visits as warm as possible. Nonetheless, I am aware of the responsibility such care entails and make sure to do everything in my power to avoid any kind of negligence. When petsitting/boarding, I send regular photo updates, don’t leave the animals alone (unless allowed), walk them 3x a day and let them wander freely but safely around the apartment. I walk them regularly to provide toilet breaks as needed, but in cases of little accidents inside the apartment, I make sure to clean it up and generally to keep the pets in safe and higienic conditions. In addition to the > 15 minute walks, pets receive plenty of play time to fulfil their physical activity needs. I remain in consistent communication with the owners and feed/walk/provide medication/etc as instructed by the owners. I also spoil the pets with snacks, if allowed:) Fresh water is always available, as well food is provided as required by the owners. I try to stick to petsitting one animal at a time due to the stress different pets may cause to each other, but if allowed by the owners, I am always happy to sit a few animals at once. In case of an emergency, I will bring the pets to the vet or act in any other required manner as indicated by the owners. When dog walking, I take at least 30 minutes, keep my copy of the key safely, always check if everything is secured before leaving, dress the pet in provided attire if needed, carry the pets up/down the stairs if needed as well. During house visits, I spend at least an hour with the pets, playing with them and making sure they’re fed, walked and happy. I am also happy to house sit if that is preferred by the owners. If agreed in accordance with my schedule, I can house sit for an indefinite time. When house sitting, I always double check if everything is locked/turned off before leaving and/or night time. According to my regular clients, their pets are always excited to come back to my place - hope that would be the case with your pets as well:)
