Hondenliefhebbers zonder hond die graag oppassen!

Hi! Wij wonen met zijn tweetjes in een beganegrond appartement in amsterdam west en passen graag af en toe een dagje, weekend, of langer op! We zijn opgegroeid met honden en katten en hebben op dit moment één britse korthaar kat thuis (die goed met honden omgaat. Of liever gezegd, onverschillig is richting honden). We willen op een gegeven moment zelf heel graag een hond (Samoyed, Golden Retriever, Australian shepherd, Goldendoodle, of een soortgelijke middelgrote-grote sociale hond) maar op dit moment past dit niet in onze levensstijl (we zijn vaak op reis) dus daarom lijkt het ons heel leuk om voor nu af en toe op deze lieve diertjes te passen! We hebben een ruim huis met (voor amsterdamse begrippen) een ruime groene tuin. Hoi hondenliefhebbers, Samen met mijn labradoodle Alfie (2 jaar) woon ik in Amsterdam Nieuw-West. We wandelen drie keer per dag, vaak rond de Sloterplas of in het Rembrandtpark en Erasmuspark. Alfie is sociaal, speels en gewend aan andere honden. Ik pas regelmatig op honden van buren en vind het leuk om dit wat vaker te doen. Ik ben flexibel en denk graag mee over de opvang. He sent me updates with photos which I appreciate, and he lives right in the park which is perfect for dogs. He is also a very friendly and approachable person which I find important as you need to feel the ease of communication with the person taking care of your furry family member. Altijd opgegroeid met honden en er zelf ook een gehad. Echt een toevoeging in mijn leven altijd geweest. Momenteel niet in de situatie om zelf een hond te hebben omdat ik oa 5 dagen werk. I love taking care of dogs as well as cats and overall being around animals ever since I was a small child. Hi! I’m a second-year political science student with a big love for animals and lots of experience in caring for them. While my own two dogs—a calm and sweet 9-year-old brown Labrador and a velcro-dog 2-year-old Chihuahua—are currently back home in France with my family, I’ve been surrounded by pets most of my life. I also spent six years abroad when I was younger, where I had eight rabbits, and I’ve looked after cats and dogs of all kinds, including terriers and a Golden Retriever. Here in Amsterdam, I live with roommates who have pets of their own back home; a cat and two Chihuahuas. So we're all used to caring for animals. I’m used to animals with different personalities, and I especially love spending time with affectionate, velcro-type dogs who like to stick close and get plenty of attention. I’m also happy to play, cuddle, or just be a calming presence for older pets. We live just a two-minute walk from Oosterpark, which is perfect for regular walks and playtime if your dog needs a lot of outside time. There’s almost always someone home, so your pet will rarely be alone and I can guarantee will get plenty of love and attention throughout the day. I can also help with oral medication if your dog needs it mixed into food, as I've done this with my Labrador. One thing to note however, our apartment is on the second floor with typical Amsterdam stairs. Most dogs manage just fine, but if your animal has mobility issues, it’s something to consider. I’m available any time and happy to help, whether it’s for a weekend, a longer stay, or a last-minute booking. Your pet will be cared for in a friendly, safe, and relaxed environment where we'll make sure they'll feel right at home!
