Hello, We have recently moved to a larger home in a quiet, green neighborhood right next to Clingendael Park and the Haagse Bos. This location offers direct access to some of the nicest walking routes in the area. The house has plenty of indoor space and a fully enclosed garden with grass and high hedges. Dogs can safely move around, relax outside or play, depending on their energy level. The garden is a big advantage for dogs that like having outdoor access without constant leash time. Our jobs are hybrid and we coordinate our schedules so that usually one of us is working from home. This means there is regular presence throughout the day and your dog is not left alone for long periods. We have experience with dogs of different sizes, ages and temperaments and have been doing this since before our daughter was born. We now have a toddler at home who is used to being around dogs and enjoys their company. Because of this, it is important that your dog is comfortable around young children. At home, we keep things calm and structured. We follow a consistent routine with walks, feeding, rest and downtime. Walks are often in Clingendael or the Haagse Bos, depending on the dog and weather. Inside, dogs have space to settle and we provide simple enrichment like toys and interaction. We do not take puppies younger than 6 months. Before confirming a stay, we like to understand your dog a bit better: – How they are with other dogs – Any triggers or specific behaviour – Whether they have separation anxiety or bark frequently – Whether they are comfortable around toddlers We live in a quiet residential area with neighbors nearby, so we only accept dogs that fit a calm environment and do not bark excessively. Safety and clear communication are important to us. We keep things straightforward, maintain a secure setup and aim to make the stay predictable and comfortable for both dog and owner. Wij zijn zeer tevreden met hoe Tim onze Eliá uitgelaten heeft. Eliá is normaliter (Waarschijnlijk door traumatische ervaringen met mannen in het verleden) nogal terughoudend naar mannen toe. Echter bij Tim wilde ze knuffelen en als ik zijn naam maar noemde stond ze al klaar met een groet helicopter staart te zwiepen :slight_smile:. Ze vond het een feestje. Als we Tim in de toekomst nodig hebben, zullen we zeker contact met hem opnemen en we raden dan ook iedereen aan om hem te boeken. Hartelijk dank Tim.

Typically, whatever the dog needs, a few walks in a day, lots of attention, feeding, (always having fresh supply of water), prescribing oral medication if necessary, brushing out their coat, and making sure that they are happy, is what you dog can expect when they are being looked after by me. If you have any cats or rabbits that need feeding, or checking up on, and cleaning its litter box, that can also be arranged. Maaike heeft goed voor onze hond (Moos) gezorgd. Moos is hier 1,5 dag geweest. Gedurende zijn verblijf heeft Maaike ons op de hoogte gehouden middels appjes en foto's. Hierop zag ik dat Moos het erg naar zijn zin had en ook ontspannen was. Hij kreeg ook voldoende aandacht van Maaike.

Flexibele thuiswerker & enthousiaste hondenfan

Sinds kinds af aan, heb ik altijd voor buren en vrienden honden uitgelaten of opgepast. Nu pas ik regelmatig op de golden retriever van een familielid, vaak meerdere dagen achter elkaar. Ik werk regelmatig vanuit huis, waardoor ik veel flexibiliteit heb om tijdens de lunch lekker te wandelen in het Haagse Bos of Clingendael. In het weekend ga ik graag naar het strand, en als jouw hond dat leuk vindt, neem ik hem of haar natuurlijk mee. Bij ons thuis is er volop ruimte om te ontspannen: de hond kan rustig binnen liggen of op ons grote terras op de begane grond relaxen. Maar ik vind het ook leuk om samen actief bezig te zijn: van lange wandelingen tot lekker spelen. Zo krijgt jouw hond zowel beweging als de rust die hij of zij nodig heeft. Samen met mijn vriend, die is opgegroeid met honden en net zo’n liefhebber is, zorgen we ervoor dat honden zich hier welkom, veilig en gelukkig voelen.

Ervaren dierenvrienden Rond De Energiecentrale

Wij zijn Nikki en Justus. Allebei zijn wij 28 en wonen en werken in Den Haag. Wij zijn ruim 8 jaar samen en hebben ons hele leven al huisdieren gehad. Toevallig zijn wij beide opgegroeid met Canadese Herders, dus we zijn wel wat gewend. Verder hebben wij ruime ervaring met het oppassen op een hoop verschillende honden door jaren lang Petbnb oppasser te zijn. Justus werkt vaak ‘s ochtends en ‘s middags en kan daarom de hond lekker vroeg uitlaten. Nikki werkt voornamelijk thuis en kan daarom makkelijk tussendoor de middag wandelingen doen. Wij hebben geen tuin, wel een balkon. Onze voordeur is op twee hoog en te bereiken door twee trappen. De honden die bij ons blijven moeten dus wel trap kunnen lopen, of het niet erg vinden om opgetild te worden. Graag passen wij op honden die voor een of meerdere dagen bij ons blijven. Zo past het huisdier perfect in ons leven en krijgt het alle aandacht dat het beestje verdient.

I hate to sound like a broken record here but I can't stress how amazing it is to be able to leave your beloved pet and not have a single worry about their care while you have to travel. Ranger stayed with Justus and Nikki again and we couldn't be more happy with the love and care he gets while with them.
