Raised by Labrador’s, turned in to a retriever

Hi there, My name is Gustaf and I am Swedish guy looking to help you and your dog out when needed! Have lived in Amsterdam for approx 1 year and have since then always missed my family’s Labrador (Pastis), as he still lives in Sweden. Currently I mostly work form home and would therefore gladly have some company with your dog during the days. Big plus is that I live only 4 blocks away from vondelpark and that I do have long experience with dogs. Got my first dog at age of 8 (also a Labrador) and has since always had a dog in the family. I hope you like this intro and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions! / Gustaf

Gustaf was great taking care of Eddy. Eddy loved his time at Gustaf’s house. He send lots of pictures so I was very happy too :). Definitely recommend!

Danice and her partner Marco are super lovely, and took great care of Louis. He was sad to go, hopefully he’ll be back soon! 😊

Ultimate dog mom

I will ensure that your dog gets the best care possible. I will cherish them like my own :) I have two Jack Russells of my own but are now in the care of my parents back home in Malaysia. I miss them so much since moving here and thought having dogs in my life would help me to expend my overflowing love for animals. My availability is flexible as I work from home. I also love going for walks so they will get plenty of that! Every dog is different and I am looking forward to learning about yours!

Nikki took great care of Rupert. We were very happy leaving him with her and received pictures during the 3 days.

Your pet's best friend outside their home

Hi! I am Alara, I'm 25 and live in Amsterdam with my boyfriend in a very dog friendly neighborhood with lots of green space. Since I work from home most of the time, I like the go on walks throughout the day and would love to have a furry friend accompany me. Since I'm living with my boyfriend, your pet will have 2 friends taking care of them and have so much fun! He also adores dogs and loves playing with them. I had a dog named Sparky and he was a Pug (mopshond). He came into our house when I was 9 years old and we grew up together. It has been my dream to take care of a dog, take them out for a walk or play with them ever since moving to the Netherlands and living without a pet. Since I took care of my dog for 10 years, I'm quite experienced when it comes to dogs. I can assure you that anyone can trust me with their pets, I would take care of them as if they were my own. I would prefer to spend time with docile, calm and playful dogs.

really happy loved the pictures they sent about My dog and we had great communication 10/10 would recommand

Dikke aanrader!

Dog lover is an understatement

Hi, my name is Renee! I started Petbnb more than 9 years ago with the goal to learn and save money to eventually have my own baby dog at home. I accomplished my mission very quickly and have since loved my life with my soulmate and focused mostly on him while still helping friends with there furr babies often. As he gets older and our lifestyle changes, I’m back again to walk and take care of others dogs as well. I’m open to have dogs at home with me or stay over at your house. I’m also open to pop in, keep company, take to the vet, long walks, short walks, or just a few hours of cuddles. Dogs are my safe space, and any time spent with them helps me as much as it helps you and them ❤️

We were very happy Renëe took care of our two dogs. She is very relaxed and easy with them. The dogs adored her! So I highly recommend her if you need a good person to look after your dog(s)

Pet owners love my loving, and attentive care.

🐾 Hi! I’m Yaren Kılıç, 23 years old, living in a residence with my roommate. I’m a final-year university student from Istanbul who loves going on daily walks. I have a 9.5-year-old Maltese Terrier. I missed her so much, but she is with my parents now. Before her, I spent my whole childhood playing with the street dogs and cats in Turkey. When I was a baby, we even had a little bird at home—so I’ve always grown up surrounded by animals and caring for them. I always make sure pets feel safe, happy, and well-cared for while their owners are away. I’m available on weekdays and weekends, and I’ll treat your pets like my own—with patience, kindness, and lots of cuddles! 🐶🐱💛

A loving cozy home for your pet! ❤️🐾

More about me Hi! I am Marlot (28), Dutch. I live in Oostenburg, Amsterdam, 5 minutes away from Oosterpark and very close to Artis. I have an endless love for animals and would love to take care of your pet. What I offer: Daycare / Night stay – leave your pet at my house where he or she can enjoy constant supervision, treats, walks, and care. My home allows for taking care of a maximum of one pet. I am especially available in structural dogsitting (for example fixed days per week or recurring periods), so your dog can feel comfortable and familiar with the same caregiver. Good to know: My top priority is your pet’s safety, so please let me know in your request if there are any specific things I should be vigilant about! I am aware that each doggo is different and has different needs, so I'd like to be prepared and make sure your pet feels comfortable during his/her stay with me! My home: I live alone in a small-sized apartment (36 m²) in Oostenburg, which is a very quiet neighborhood with lots of parks in close proximity The apartment building has an elevator, which is conventient for your pet! I have a 9–5 office job, but I'm also quite flexible to work from home. On thursdays and Tuesday, I dont have to work. If your pet doesn’t like being left alone during the day, let me know and I'll arrange my working days accordingly! Experience I have been around a lot of animals ever since I was a little girl, as my parents lived in the countryside, with cats and horses. In my twenties, I had a Labrador who filled my days with lots of playtime, long walks, and endless affection. I also took care of an energetic Australian dog for a full year, which taught me a lot about handling high-energy breeds and keeping them both mentally and physically stimulated. My endless love for animals and natural understanding of how to communicate and act around them will ensure that your pet is well taken care of and filled with happiness.

Michel I moved to Amsterdam in 2020 with my boyfriend and son. I grew up with dogs, and used to love walking the dogs from the local shelter as well. I work as a freelancer in childcare and make long days, which is why I don't think it's fair to have a dog of my own. Meanwhile I really love the company of dogs and use Petbnb to get in touch with dogowners around the city. I work parttime and have plenty of time to walk dogs on my days off. I'm a volunteer at DOA. I also do housesitting for weekends away or longer holidays. I live in the Spaarndammerbuurt area and take lots of walks around Westerpark, Houthavens and around the neighbourhood. Feel free to send me a message if you have any questions or would like to meet! Michel

leave your dog with his best friend!

The thing I miss the most from my country (apart from my family) is my dog Duda! Having dogs around makes me a brighter person, and while I can’t find my own place here to have one, I want to give your dog the best day ever. Think walks, play (and nap) time and unlimited pets for the whole day, I can promise I will be your dogs best friend! The apartment is located in the back block of a secluded street, so it’s not noisy, your dog will have sun time during the day, easy access to a garden if nature calls! I can’t wait to meet you both!

Rody was very happy to be out with Melissa. Communication went quick and well. Luckily she was available in a short notice. Certainly, Rody will enjoy her company once again.

Dog Lover in Amsterdam West

Hi! My name is Sofia, I am originally from Uruguay and I live in Amsterdam West. Dogs have always been a big part of my life. Back home I have three dogs, Fausto, Lolo and Corto. They are my family and I miss them every day, which is one of the reasons I love doing pet sitting here in Amsterdam. In the past two years I have taken care of several dogs in the city, with different sizes, breeds and personalities. I understand how important it is to leave your dog with someone you trust, and I always make sure they feel safe, relaxed and loved. Happy to take care of your furry ones!

I was brought up with animals around me all my life, currently I live with 2 mixed rescue female dogs and a cat on the apartment ground floor in De Baarsjes. I've looked after birds, rabbits/hamsters, goldfish and reptiles (turtles); I've ample experience in taking care of different sort of animals. Animal welfare is my biggest concern so you can be assured your loved ones are in good hands! If you need someone to look after your furry ones either at my home or yours, let's have a meet up first to check the chemistry between mine and yours. My dogs are good with most dogs especially with boys.
