Ik heb verschillende keren voor de honden van mijn vrienden gezorgd, ik begreep ze op het juiste moment, we gingen lange wandelingen maken of gewoon ontspannen op de bank, er was altijd veel liefde tussen ons. Ik heb gezorgd voor honden van de rassen vizsla, Duitse herder, spaniël, mopshond, staffordshire terriër, bulldog. We kunnen het net zo goed vinden met katten, maar ik heb nog niet de kans gehad om toezicht op ze te houden. Ik heb vanaf mijn 5e tot 17e jaar een hond gehad en deze ook uitgelaten, meegegaan naar puppy training en voor gezorgd. Dit was een mini bull terrier, een hond met karakter :). Ik kan goed omgaan met honden en vind het geweldig om ervoor te zorgen! Ik heb zelf momenteel helaas geen tijd om een eigen hond te nemen. Gelukkig heb ik de mogelijkheid om thuis te werken. Ik woon alleen en het lijkt me heel gezellig af en toe voor een oppas hond te zorgen! Zoals te zien op de foto’s woon ik in een appartement met balkon. Helaas dus geen tuin maar wel voldoende mogelijkheid om buiten te lopen. Ik beweeg graag en ik loop veel hard, ik loop dan ook graag buiten met een hond zodat hij/zij ook voldoende de beweging krijgt.

Ik hou van honden en help graag op de jouwe passen. Vrienden weten mij altijd te vinden om op hun honden te passen. Ik werk regelmatig thuis en heb altijd genoeg tijd om te wandelen en te spelen. Ik woon in een ruim appartement met balkon dichtbij verschillende parken dus er is genoeg gras en ruimte in de buurt. Zelf heb ik geen hond dus alle aandacht voor de oppashond. Zelf vind ik het heerlijk om te wandelen dus ik neem je hond graag mee naar buiten. Iedere hond is natuurlijk anders dus ik luister goed naar de instructies en behoeftes voor ik besluit op te passen. Ik moet tussendoor wel kunnen werken, een hond die altijd aandacht nodig heeft of een kleine puppy is daardoor moeilijk, maar als na een goede wandeling of speeltijd is het vaak ook tijd voor rust.

Even my own lab-chow mix, Dante, was aggressive around small dogs (she saw them as prey) and had separation anxiety. She was able to respond to voice commands and learned how to heel. We helped ease her anxiety as well. Each dog is unique, and it is important to know how each dog will best respond to training based on their sensitivities. I am happy to consult with you about your dog's issues. My training philosophy is based on César Millán's (The Dog Whisperer's) approach to training, as well as my work with trainers for dog service animals. My current male cat, Chaos, is 15 years old. The high point of his day is his morning walk, followed by breakfast - to say he is food motivated is a an understatement. When I lived in Houston, I would take him for a walk in the neighborhood every day, and used to attract other cats on the walk. At times I had up to five cats going on walks with me!

Work from home dog lovers
