I grew up with 2 dogs and 4 cats in my family home. For this, I have always considered taking care of animals almost as a routine, which I especially enjoy, rather than duty. I am a great behind-the-ear and belly rubber to the vicious, and an active ball-throwing and game-playing partner for the energetic ones.
Dogs and cats come in all types of personalities, so you need to be adaptable, which I try my best to be at all times.
Also, I think routines are very important for pets. So whatever the owners tell me is a must-do routine, I follow religiously.
