Het lijkt me leuk om te mogen zorgen voor uw hond en buiten te wandelen, te spelen, en te knuffelen (als zij dat ook willen natuurlijk!). Ik ben als student nog heel flexibel in mijn beschikbaarheid en zeer zorgvuldig in mijn planning zodat ik genoeg tijd kan maken voor jouw maatje :) Ik heb vroeger met mijn ouders een oude belgische herder uit het asiel in huis genomen om hem een leukere plek te geven tot zijn overlijden. Ik werkte destijds ook als vrijwilliger in het asiel bij de honden. Mijn opa had ook altijd een hond en ik vind het erg leuk om met honden te werken en hun persoonlijkheid beter te leren kunnen. Ik woon in Amsterdam Oost vlakbij park Frankendael op de begane grond, dus ook honden die moeite hebben met trappen zouden hier langs kunnen komen.

Hello there! After exploring different paths, I realized that my heart has always been with animals, so I decided to follow my childhood dream of working with them. I’m now a Clinical Animal Behavior student, and I couldn’t be more excited to turn something I love so much into my future career. I also volunteer at DOA, the largest animal shelter in the Netherlands, where I work with dogs from all kinds of backgrounds and personalities. My sweetheart Milo crossed the rainbow bridge in June, and he’s the biggest reason I decided to follow this path. If it were up to us, we’d take them everywhere but sometimes that’s not possible. Our place is just 15 minutes from Vondelpark and close to two local dog parks, so your dog will have plenty of opportunities to sniff, explore, and have fun. Leuke lieve oppas wonend tegenover plantsoen!

Ik ben geboren op dierendag, dus wellicht dat ik daarom zo gek ben op dieren. Maar ook omdar ik ben opgegroeid met heel veel katten en honden. Ik ben Melissa, 28 jaar oud, woon bij hoofddorplein en heb bij mijn ouders altijd een Duitse Herder gehad waar ik gek op was. Ik werk als basisschoolleerkracht op een Montessorischool, maar naast het lesgeven word ik ontzettend blij van dieren. Mijn vriend is daarentegen een echte Amsterdammer, dat hoor je inderdaad niet vaak he? 😉 Ik haal ontzettend veel voldoening, ontspanning en geluk uit dieren en honden in het bijzonder. Tegelijkertijd help ik graag anderen en weet ik uit eigen ervaring hoe fijn het is als je iemand kunt vinden die met liefde en vertrouwen voor je dier zorgt. Een extra zakcentje is daarbij natuurlijk mooi meegenomen! Ik heb eigenlijk altijd honden en andere dieren om me heen gehad en inmiddels behoorlijk wat ervaring met het opvoeden en trainen van honden. Sinds mijn laatste hond is overleden heb ik besloten om zolang ik fulltime werk, geen hond meer te nemen. Dat doet me verdriet, maar het is niet eerlijk om een hond zo vaak alleen te laten. Gek op katten

Ik heb zelf een aantal katten gehad en vond dat heel leuk.Ik heb al voor vele katten gezorgd en elke kat is weer anders en daarom bijzonder. Ook kan ik als je dat wilt tijdens je vakantie de planten water geven en zo nodig stofzuigen.Mijn laatste kat is 21 geworden.
