As an owner I also prefer sitter for the long-run, so I would be happy to know and sit your dog on a regular basis. I am also happy to take care of your cat when you go on a holiday!

Tommy spent nearly a month with Pihe and Bella and he loved it! Pihe was very friendly and kept him company and played with him every day. Bella took great care of him and we will definitely book her again.

Ik werk op een positieve, beloningsgerichte en volledig force-free manier (R+). Voor mij draait het om zachte begeleiding. Deze manier van wandelen is ook heel geschikt voor honden die wat extra ondersteuning kunnen gebruiken, bijvoorbeeld omdat ze ouder zijn, lichamelijke ongemakken hebben of extra begeleiding op gedragsmatig gebied nodig hebben. Zo wandel ik momenteel ook met een aantal reactieve honden. Juist zij zijn ook welkom! Ik zorg voor een ontspannen, voldane hond die na afloop met een tevreden snoet weer thuiskomt. [ENGLISH BELOW] Hi! Wij zijn Braden (27) en Ashley (28). Wij wonen sinds 2023 samen in Amsterdam, nadat Braden (Brits/Zuid-Afrikaans) is verhuisd naar Nederland. Wij hebben beide altijd verschillende soorten honden gehad en missen dit enorm nu wij zelf samen (nog) geen hond hebben. Daarom vinden we het superfijn om via deze manier anderen uit de brand te kunnen helpen én zelf omringd te blijven met viervoeters. Wij wonen 5 minuutjes van zowel Rembrandtpark als Erasmuspark (hier heb je zelfs een plek speciaal voor honden!) vandaan wat een ideale omgeving is om erop uit te gaan. Ook werken we allebei grotendeels thuis en zijn we ontzettend flexibel, waardoor we veel aandacht hebben voor oppashonden of makkelijk langs kunnen komen voor een wandeling. We hebben verder geen voorkeur voor een bepaalde dag of hoeveelheid dagen, mits we genoeg tijd hebben om het in te plannen. Ashley heeft een aantal jaar geleden met haar eigen Shi-Tzu en Chihuahua een nestje gehad, en dus ervaring met zowel het opvoeden van (zeer) jonge puppies als omgang met senioren. Natuurlijk is iedereen hond anders, maar we zijn er erg van bewust waar verschillende rassen en leeftijden aan toe zijn (en waar niet!). Your Dog's Full-Time Fun Manager!

Animals have always been part of who I am. I wanted to be a vet from the time I was little, and my life has been full of dogs and cats ever since. It started when I was 8. I was the kid in the neighborhood who'd happily walk your dog or look after your cat, and I was always hanging around the local vet clinics asking if I could help. My first volunteer job was with an organization that cared for stray animals, where I helped get them ready for their vet visits. At 10, I started volunteering at a shelter attached to a veterinary university. Every day after school, I walked my two favorites, Guinness and Hennessy. I also played with them, fed them, cleaned their enclosures, and started learning about training. As a teenager, I started my own dog-walking business, and it took off. I looked after 7 to 10 dogs every day, from clever Shiba Inus to gentle Saint Bernards. I did long walks, washed muddy paws, handled feeding, and kept pets company when their owners worked long hours. I felt like part of each family, and I still love remembering the puppies I watched grow into big, beautiful dogs. At boarding school, I started an Animal Volunteering Club so my friends and I could keep visiting shelters. More recently, I lived on a horse farm in the US and cared for five farm dogs, which taught me a lot about their strength and stamina. I've also had a dog of my own, so I know both the love and the responsibility that come with it. My Availability I'm a student at Utrecht University, so my schedule changes by semester, but I'm flexible and happy to work around you. I'm an early riser and can do walks from 6:00 AM. Most weekdays I'm free after 5:00 PM, and I can often fit in afternoon visits if we arrange it ahead of time.
