Wij, Carli en Danique, wonen in een heel fijn en koel appartement in Amsterdam-Oost met een tuin! We dromen van een eigen hond, maar willen daar alle tijd voor hebben en in sommige periodes is dat in deze fase van ons leven niet het geval. Vandaar deze gezellige oplossing :) Danique heeft thuis gestreden voor een hond (inclusief PowerPoint om ouders te overtuigen) en heeft vanaf haar 12e, jaren lang met een Border Collie mogen leven. Daarna heeft ze in Amsterdam nog verschillende uitlaat honden 'gehad'. Carli is verzot van honden. Hij haalt op reis alle straathonden aan die we tegenkomen en de liefde is vaak wederzijds. Samen houden we van in de natuur zijn, weekendjes weg met onze camper en zijn beide sportief! p.s. als je twee honden hebt die komen logeren is de prijs zeker overlegbaar!

Danique and Carli dog sat my dog while I went away for a long weekend and they were so great with her! I’m so grateful to have found people who I know my dog loves!

The time here has been the best, but two things that I really miss the most are my two little chihuahua boys Frankie & Tito back at home. 🥰 On my profile picture you can see Tito, on the third picture you can see Frankie. 😉 Unfortunately, I couldn’t bring them here since sometimes my days can be long and a lot of other aspects, but they’re having the best time in Estonia with my parents though. ☺️ Overall - me, my family and my closest friends have all grew up with the dogs since I was small, so my love for the animals is really unconditonal! 🤍 So I feel that right now there is still a small gap remaining in my everyday life in Amsterdam - I don’t have a furry best friend by my side to go on a long walks with as I have used to, or a warm snuggle that keeps my mood up even on my worst days. ☹️ That’s why I’m on this app. My experience with dogs is based on my own dogs of course but at the same time when keeping friends' or family's animals. But I would say I rather feel more comfortable with the small and medium dogs. Since my schedule currently involves only work in an office for some days a week - for a start I would love to just go for a (long) walks or take care of them for a whole day, when I have days off. I’m located in De Baarsjes, but everything that is located in the ring is not a problem for me, since I’m moving by bike all the time! City centre sitter with dachshund

Hi there! My name is Joppe, and I live on a boat in the city centre if Amsterdam together with my girlfriend. Kees is out permanent roommate, he’s a mini dachshund who loves to play in Vondelpark everyday and make new friends. About myself, I’m an analyst that often works from home and through social media and group chats I see a lot of people struggling to find a sitter for their pet. While working at home I usually walk Kees every 2-3 hours, while going to dog parks almost everyday for a least 30 min. I’ve taken care of a few dogs before, and when taking them anywhere I make sure to but a tracking device on them (better be safe than sorry!). If your dog needs to stay overnight, that won’t be an issue as there is plenty of space here on the boat. Regarding this, no person of dog had ever fallen in the water - but just to be sure we always put the dogs life jackets on. Regarding your dog, my only wish is that he/she is comfortable being picked-up and being friendly to other dogs. The rest I can manage! Looking forward meeting you and your dog!

Ik heb in Engeland voor de Duitse herder van mijn vader gezorgd. Die was lastig met uitlaten. Ik vind Duitse herders de leukte honden die er zijn. Ik hou van alle soorten honden. Verder heb ik voor een oude Belgische herder gezorgd die soms gek gedrag vertoonde. Ik houd ook van katten en andere huisdieren. Dierenoppas lijkt mij een heel leuk baantje. Dit past bij mij omdat ik van verzorgen en van dieren houd. Thuis mag ik geen huisdieren hebben, dus het is alsof ik van mijn hobby mijn baan maak. Ik vind het leuk om honden uit te laten en om op dieren op te passen.

Zelf een fervent dierenliefhebber, zowel honden als katten, maar bij gebrek aan tijd voor een vast huisdier heel veel liefde te geven aan een oppasdier. Wonend in een ruim en veilig huis (zonder buiten) met genoeg ruimte om rond te lopen en te spelen, met 3 vrouwelijke huisgenoten (ook dierenliefhebbers). Meermaals zeer tevreden en blije katten afgeleverd bij de baasjes na het oppassen. Het huis een goede basis, maar indien gewenst binnen 5 minuten lopen in het Beatrixpark voor even wat frissere lucht om de longen te verversen. Geen ervaring in toedienen van medicatie, wel zelf afgestudeerd arts (en dus als persoon verzorgend ingesteld) en meer dan open om ook wat over Diergeneeskunde te leren!

Gezellig geweest blijkbaar, weer teruggelopen naar huis met een relaxte puppy.
