Hi! My name is Afina and i am an international student in Amsterdam from Indonesia. I love animals, i have 2 big dogs, an American bulldog and a pitbull back home and i also have 3 cats. I grow up around dogs, and my dad teach me to take care of them. I also have a few experiences with other dogs since most of my friends have dogs as well. I am very good with medium and big sized dogs because i am used to big dogs and i feel more comfortable around them. I dont mind small dogs either, i used to be a dog sitter for a shih tzu. I work in Marketing and living south of vondelpark , , Amsterdam. My house is a 2BHK and quite spacious. My flatmate and i love dogs and dogs are great company to have! I also really enjoy going on walks so having pawprints along my walk is always fun. I treat a dog as a homie and will take care of it like my own :) I do not speak Dutch and dog love has no language. The dog owner needs to feel comfortable on few important points - the dog is well taken care of and a priority (not left on it's own, fed on time & taken for walks) and the dog is comfortable with the babysitter. Therefore, when i baby sit a dog, i'll ensure that i take care of it. I also love having a dog around as they are adorable and usually the dog shares the same with me. For dog sitting, I would like to understand any Do and don'ts, if any. I prefer to take dogs that are trained not to pee in the house and the dog must be vaccinated. Also, if any food needs to be given to the dog, the owner must provide me with the same. ( I ofcourse have some dog treats but not full meals) Lastly, if i keep your dog please be rest assured that the dog will be happy and safe : )

Arshiya was brilliant with Nemo! We met before the day I booked for a meet and greet and I could tell that Arshiya was going to get along with Nemo just fine. Will definitely be booking Arshiya again.

Mijn ouders hebben 2 labradors. 1 van 12 en 1 pup. Ik ben dus vanaf jongs af aan opgegroeid met honden en ben een echt honden mens. Als mijn ouders weg zijn pas ik vaak op de honden dus ik heb er veel ervaring mee. Uitlaten, spelen, eten geven en nog veel meer. Hello from a local dog lover and enthusiast! I have loved dogs for all of my life, and had my own (Captain, a rescued mutt) since I was 12 years old. Although I've only sporadically had a dog in my own vicinity since then, I spent a few months dog-sitting a doberman during a workaway two years ago, and spent this summer on a husky kennel in Tana, Norway caring for and doing the daily routines of 47 huskies (including 4 puppies and 11 yearlings). My experience with dogs I would consider wide-ranging, and I am so happy to hang out with dogs as it really brings me the greatest joy. I have a cosy and relatively large flat which I share with my roommate who is a horseback-rider and fellow animal lover and enthusiast. This means that your pooch will get a 2-for-1 deal and friend in us both (although the dog would be my responsibility and remain in my space mostly). However, as there are two of us, and I live in a building with many friends nearby, the dog will rarely, if ever, be left alone. I am a student with a schedule that is heavy on Mondays and Thursdays, with the other days all 'off' (and a 3 hour course on Wednesdays), meaning I have plenty of free time to watch after and hang out with a canine companion. Additionally, there is always someone nearby should there be an emergency that needs tending to, and my uni is a 6 minute walk from the flat, for extra insurance.

Daar ben ik achter gekomen toen ik 5 jaar geleden een hondje heb geadopteerd van een vrouw die er niet meer voor kon zorgen. Your dog will be walked at least two to three times a day (depending on how long the sitting lasts). Your pup may be left alone 2 hours max. There are no other pets in my home. I live on the 4th floor and the building has no elevator, so be aware your dog needs to be able to take stairs or is fine with being carried. 1- 1,5 uur wandeling

Elke dag maakt ik samen met mijn hond (Podenco) een mooie uitgebreide wandeling in diverse gebieden. Het lijkt mij erg leuk om deze wandeling te vergezellen met honden die dit ook erg leuk vinden en dit ook goed kunnen gebruiken. De wandeling wordt ervaren als een van de leukste dingen op de dag. Ik kies elke dag zorgvuldig weer een andere route waardoor het elke dag weer een nieuw avontuur wordt. Bij voorkeur kies ik de wat rustigere gebieden op waardoor ik mij vaak alleen waan met de hond. Dit vind ik heerlijk! Mijn hond is een adoptie-hond Podenco uit Spanje en heb ik vanaf pup. Ik ben helemaal in het honden gedrag gedoken en heb direct een 12 weken cursus praktijk en theorie gedaan. Hier heb ik enorm veel geleerd en is de band met mijn hond versterkt. Het samenzijn gaat nu zo natuurlijk dat ik voel dat ik er best nog 1 of 2 bij kan hebben tijdens het wandelen. Ik ben opzoek naar de wat makkelijkere honden om uit te laten die over het algemeen vrolijk gestemd zijn en makkelijk in de omgang zijn met andere honden en mensen. Honden die een lange mooie wandeling erg kunnen waarderen waardoor ze daarna heerlijk kunnen slapen.

Hoi allemaal, zoals iedereen op deze website ben ook ik gek op honden :) Ik heb zelf een Boomer en Labrador gehad. Ik kan niet wachten om weer een thuis te geven aan een nieuwe hond. Ik wil heel graag een Newfoundlander (maar alleen als ik een groot huis + tuin heb, anders vind ik het zielig). Ik ben ook gek op alle andere honden, zoals bijv Pommery, Huskey, Labrador, Labradoedel, Golden Retriever, Beagle: je hoort het al, ik houd van ze allemaal hihi! Ik vind het heerlijk om lekker lang door het bos te wandelen (wandel elke dag minimaal 2/3 uur zelf, wat natuurlijk veel leuker is met een hond) en thuis met de beesten te spelen en te chillen. Ik zal de lieverds helemaal in de watten leggen! Het lijkt me heel leuk om binnenkort met jouw hond te zijn, die te verzorgen en lekker erop uit te gaan! Liefs, Laurel
