Looking for a sweet companion for walks!

I am looking for a sweet canine companion to take care of on either daily bases or a few times per week! I also do house sitting or dog boarding, depending on availability :-) I'm a calm person who loves animals and find dogs to be great companions and have taken care of both dogs and cats before. I can house sit or host your pet, depending on arrangement. I have experience and a lot of patience for young dogs who are still learning how to walk on a leash and like being a part of their learning journey. As an Illustrator, I have a lot of free time on my hands and like to spend my days outside, going to parks, the beach and I walk a lot in general, so a dog would have lots of fun and different days with me, full of all sorts of smells and open areas to play in.

Voor ons de eerste keer dat onze Sjakie uit logeren ging. Hij voelde zich meteen thuis bij Anna en heeft een hele fijne tijd bij haar gehad. Ze is super aardig en heeft veel ervaring met allerlei soorten honden. Heel erg bedankt! :relaxed:

Hoi! Wij zijn Micah en Nikita en het lijkt ons super leuk om op uw hondje te passen! Wij zijn allebei gek op honden maar kunnen helaas door ons werk geen eigen hond nemen. I can also do basic grooming if your dog would get muddy from playing in the forest, such as a bath, blow dry and brush out. Typically, whatever the dog needs, a few walks in a day, lots of attention, feeding, (always having fresh supply of water), prescribing oral medication if necessary, brushing out their coat, and making sure that they are happy, is what you dog can expect when they are being looked after by me. If you have any cats or rabbits that need feeding, or checking up on, and cleaning its litter box, that can also be arranged. I would love to look after your pets and give them all the love and attention that they might need. I hope to answer any questions you may have!

Fijn dat jullie zo flexibel zijn met oppassen op zondag. Onze hond Billy heeft het prima naar zijn zin gehad en we hebben nog een leuke foto ontvangen!

Liefdevolle dierenoppas met ervaring

Dieren zijn altijd een belangrijk onderdeel van mijn leven geweest. Ik ben opgegroeid met verschillende huisdieren, waaronder katten, cavia's, ratten, gerbils en hamsters. Later heb ik zelf twee Perzische katten gehad, waardoor ik veel ervaring heb opgedaan met de dagelijkse verzorging, vachtverzorging en het herkennen van de behoeften van katten. In de afgelopen jaren heb ik regelmatig op honden, katten en cavia's gepast. Ik vind het belangrijk dat ieder dier zich veilig en op zijn gemak voelt. Naast de dagelijkse verzorging heb ik ook ervaring met kammen en het toedienen van medicijnen als dat nodig is. Omdat ik regelmatig van huis ben, kan ik zelf momenteel geen huisdieren hebben. Juist daarom geniet ik extra van de momenten waarop ik vrij ben of thuis werk en voor de dieren van anderen mag zorgen. Ik behandel ieder huisdier alsof het mijn eigen dier is, met veel aandacht, geduld en liefde. Ik pas met veel plezier op zowel katten als honden van alle leeftijden. Rustige honden, senioren en katten voelen zich vaak snel op hun gemak bij mij, maar ook actieve en speelse dieren zijn van harte welkom, zolang hun behoeften duidelijk worden besproken. Kleine diertjes zoals hamsters en cavia's kunnen ook bij mij terecht! Alleen met puppy's heb ik weinig ervaring, dus die liever niet. Goede communicatie met de eigenaar vind ik belangrijk, zodat ik de verzorging zoveel mogelijk kan voortzetten zoals het dier gewend is.

Maaike heeft goed voor onze hond (Moos) gezorgd. Moos is hier 1,5 dag geweest. Gedurende zijn verblijf heeft Maaike ons op de hoogte gehouden middels appjes en foto's. Hierop zag ik dat Moos het erg naar zijn zin had en ook ontspannen was. Hij kreeg ook voldoende aandacht van Maaike.

Gewoon goed met honden

Wij hebben ruim 30 jaar ervaring met honden en andere huisdieren. Nadat wij in september 2025 onze (intacte)Hollandse Herder reu in hebben moeten laten slapen hebben wij besloten om geen hond meer te nemen maar om zo nu en dan als oppas/logeeradres te fungeren. Wij wonen aan de rand van Vlaardingen, staan zo in de polder en houden van wandelen dus je hond krijgt beweging genoeg. Wel wonen wij in het midden dus je hond moet wel kunnen traplopen. Wij zijn niet altijd beschikbaar maar in overleg kunnen we altijd naar oplossingen kijken. Wij hebben geen voorkeur voor een ras of type hond maar houden wel van iets grotere honden. in principe passen we op 1 hond maar als het er 2 uit hetzelfde gezin zijn dan is dat ook goed.
