(English below) Katten- of hondenmens? Ik ben het allebei! Hoi! Ik ben Sterre, ik ben 33 jaar oud. Ik ben op zoek naar een viervoetermaatje. Of dat nu in de vorm van een kat of een hond is, maakt mij niet veel uit. Ik vind beide dieren leuk! In mijn ouderlijk huis ben ik opgegroeid in een gezellige beestenbende. We hadden een hond (recent: Heidewachtel, vroeger: Vlinderhondje), 4 katten, konijnen, kippen en cavia’s. Ik heb zelf één van onze honden opgevoed en ik ben ermee op cursus gegaan (de Heidewachtel, een jachtras). Onze poes is tweemaal zwanger geweest, waarvan ze één nestje heeft verworpen. Deze kittens heb ik toen ook verzorgd en gevoed. Kortom: ik ben praktisch opgegroeid als dierenverzorger. Later, als uitgevlogen vogel uit het ouderlijk nest, had ik helaas geen mogelijkheid tot huisdieren ivm verbod door huisbaas. Gelukkig kan ik af en toe oppassen op de katten van mijn ouders en de kat en Appenzeller Sennenhond van een vriendin. Maar ik mis de regelmatige, dierlijke connectie enorm. Honden en katten maken mij blij en ik merk de connectie met ze. Zij voelen dat bij mij aan, vaak lopen honden uit zichzelf vrolijk op mij af om hallo te zeggen en te snuffelen. Ik kan het dan natuurlijk niet weerstaan om even een aai over zijn/haar bol te geven. Met katten weet ik heel goed te herkennen wanneer zij aandacht willen en wanneer zij hun eigen ding willen doen. I am a freelance musician, flexible with my time. This job came out of a hobby and I cherish it a lot. I enjoy interactions with dogs and love to see them in their comfort spaces or running around. I have been working with rescue dogs as well as well-trained - all are welcome. I grew up at a place with many stray dogs. We were building houses and feeding them, playing, and naming places after them. I got my own dog more than 10 years ago, a Jack Russell terrier called Cora. Moving around I could not bring her with me to The Netherlands. Now, I am looking for all kinds of dog characters to meet and care for. I am currently living in a nice but small studio flat. I can accommodate only small dogs for in-house stays. But I live in an area with plenty of space for walking and parks for dogs only. Overnight stays are also possible given that I work from home a lot of the time and can be flexible.

Viktoria was again awesome, our 2 rescue beagles where very relaxed when we got back (so we don't think they missed us much). The house was perfectly taken care of by Viktoria who is very tidy. Communicatie is clear and regular (with pictures). So glad we found Viktoria and it is such a good match with our 2 beagle boys.

Hi, I'm Carla! Animals have always had a very special place in my life. Being around them makes me genuinely happy, and becoming a pet sitter is a way for me to spend more time doing something that truly fulfils me. My inspiration One of the biggest reasons behind this step is Zara, my American Bulldog. She was sweet, gentle and incredibly sociable, although, like the great lady she was , she could also be a little temperamental and selective! Zara taught me so much about respecting an animal's individual personality, needs and boundaries. When she passed away in October 2025, she left a huge space in my life. Her loss also made me realise how much being around animals means to me. It gave me an even stronger desire to spend my time caring for, learning from and simply being close to other animals. In many ways, becoming a pet sitter is my way of following that feeling. Our family and home I live with my husband and my teenage son, who both love animals just as much as I do and have been incredibly supportive of me taking this step. We also share our home with Bully, an American bully size pocket, a very special member of our family. I believe it's important to be completely transparent: we have a dog living in our home. For this reason, every dog staying with us will be carefully introduced and assessed beforehand to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. I don't want to fill my home with as many dogs as possible. I prefer to offer a calm, loving family environment where every dog receives individual attention and care. A garden to play, relax and simply be a dog We have a large garden where dogs can enjoy the outdoors, play, explore and have some freedom. My garden is completely enclosed and secure, with mostly grass, giving dogs plenty of space to relax, explore and enjoy some outdoor time. I also enjoy providing mental enrichment activities, adapted to each dog's personality and needs. After all, keeping their minds active can be just as important or more then physical exercise! And of course, sometimes the best activity is doing absolutely nothing just simply relaxing on the grass and enjoying a little sun, when the Dutch weather allows it! Above all, I value the safety of every dog in my care. Our garden has been prepared with this in mind, so dogs can enjoy their time outside in a safe environment. My experience All my life i had contact with animals like dogs, cats, birds and even a very naughty parrot. Living with and caring for my own dogs has taught me a lot about routines, wellbeing and the importance of noticing even the smallest changes. I also have practical experience with dogs with allergies and sensitive skin, including skin-care routines and ongoing maintenance. Any specific care is always provided according to the owner's instructions and, where necessary, veterinary guidance. How I can help Loving home boarding for dogs, following a prior introduction Doggy day care Pet sitting and companionship Dog walks I enjoy taking dogs on calm walks through quite green surroundings, with canals and open spaces nearby. Every dog on my care will have 3 walks per day at least. There are also designated areas where dogs can safety enjoy some off- leash time. For safety reasons, i prefer to keep dogs on a leash during walks. The length of each walk depends on the will, energy and how much dog is having fun but in general, each walk lasts around 30 minutes, giving the dog a calm, relaxed moment. Home visits Feeding according to your pet's routine. Medication administration when clearly instructed. Can be daily skin care routine, pills or another type of medication. Playtime and mental enrichment Basic hygiene care. For over night stays, I have comfortable beds and crates available if necessary, depending on each dog's needs and what they are used to. Regular photo and video updates, ALWAYS For cats: Unfortunately, I can't host cats in my home because we have Bully, but I would be very happy to care for them in the comfort and familiarity of their own home. What matters most to me I know how difficult it can be to leave our pets in someone else's care. They are not "just animals", they are family. Loving home for small dogs or cats

Hello my name is Gemma and I live in an 145 m2 apartment with my husband Ben. We are an Australian couple who have been living and working in the Netherlands for over 3 years. We are both used to having our own pets in Australia (golden retriver, maltese x west highland terrier, british shorthair) however due to work commitments we are unable to commit to having our own here. Therefore, we would love to take care of your dog or cat on the weekend while you are away from home. Our apartment is spacious enough to take care of your pet where they will recieve our full attention and loving care. I can also arrange for a home visit for 30-60 mins where I will spend time with your pet - feeding, playing, scooping the litter box, changing water or just spending time with them. I'll also happily take your dog for a walk to keep them happy and healthy. Whether your dog enjoys a short stroll or a long walk, I'm here to keep them active and engaged.

Gemma and Ben took really good care of my Labradoodle Dalì. She was very relaxed with them, got lots off attention and looked great when we picked her up again.

Gewoon goed met honden

Wij hebben ruim 30 jaar ervaring met honden en andere huisdieren. Nadat wij in september 2025 onze (intacte)Hollandse Herder reu in hebben moeten laten slapen hebben wij besloten om geen hond meer te nemen maar om zo nu en dan als oppas/logeeradres te fungeren. Wij wonen aan de rand van Vlaardingen, staan zo in de polder en houden van wandelen dus je hond krijgt beweging genoeg. Wel wonen wij in het midden dus je hond moet wel kunnen traplopen. Wij zijn niet altijd beschikbaar maar in overleg kunnen we altijd naar oplossingen kijken. Wij hebben geen voorkeur voor een ras of type hond maar houden wel van iets grotere honden. in principe passen we op 1 hond maar als het er 2 uit hetzelfde gezin zijn dan is dat ook goed.
