Groot, middel of klein, ik vind elk dier fijn!

Altijd heb ik gewoond met katten en/of honden, sinds kort is dit helaas niet meer zo. Ik woon nu in een te klein huis. Ik mis hun gezelschap en daarom wil ik graag gaan oppassen! Ik heb een energieke en vrolijke persoonlijkheid, ik hou van buiten zijn (zelfs als het regent of sneeuwt) en ben op mijn gelukkigst in het gezelschap van een (huis)dier. De laatste jaren heb ik twee katten gehad; Bowie en Karel. Karel is heel actief en houdt van gezelschap, Bowie is wat meer op zichzelf. Het verschil in wat zij nodig hebben is groot, en altijd iets waar ik rekening mee heb gehouden. Bij mijn ouders had ik een hond en kat. Onze hond, Sep, was een Tibetaanse terrier die gered was van een fokker. Hij kon erg agressief zijn naar andere honden, wat voor mij betekende dat ik rustig moest blijven en hem moest kalmeren of omlopen wanneer andere honden in de buurt kwamen. Onze kat was liever buiten dan binnen en kwam soms thuis voor eten of knuffels, maar wel alleen op zijn voorwaarde. Hier heb ik geleerd zijn gedrag te begrijpen en mijn eigen behoeften aan de kant te zetten voor zijn welzijn. Op dit moment heb ik veel tijd en ben ik erg flexibel, elk dier is welkom bij mij!

Wij zoeken een lieve oppashond om af en toe voor te zorgen. Wij zijn een gezin van 4 en gek op honden. Onze kinderen : Benthe en Noud zijn 6 en 11 jaar oud. Belangrijk is dat ons oppashondje het gezellig vindt om met kinderen om te gaan/ te spelen. Wij hebben een fijne tuin waar de hond lekker ook even buiten kan spelen en wonen in een hele mooie omgeving in Kortenhoef. Wij wonen sinds paar maanden in Kortenhoef en waren druk met verbouwing . en nu hebben wij weer tijd om aandacht aan de hondjes te besteden. Check-in en uit tijden voor dagopvang zijn in overleg ook zeker flexibel. Momenteel laat ik ook 1x per week een hondje uit die in de buurt woont. Dus dat is ook geen enkel probleem als je daar naar opzoek bent. Wij vinden het prettig om een band met het hondje op te bouwen voordat het hondje komt slapen. Dus meteen logeren / lange vakantie keur ik helaas meteen af. Stuur mij gerust een berichtje om de opties te bespreken! Wie weet tot gauw!

I have taken care of 50+ different dogs and cats until now and I am experienced with different breeds and habits of pets. Originally I am from China, and I am currently studying at the VU. I have a cat and a dog back home (the cat is 5 years old, and the dog is 6 years old). In 2024, I volunteered at an animal rescue center in Crete, Greece, where I had to take care of 15+ dogs. I enjoyed spending the whole day with them, taking them to the beach, and cooking for them. This is what motivated me to become a pet sitter, to make more fluffy animal friends! I study at home most of the time, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets. But if there’s specific requirements for no pets in bedroom/on couch etc I will also follow them. I will make sure to be careful with windows and doors, not letting the pet get out accidentally. Ofcourse, I will also ensure not to leave food out unattended. During heatwave I will keep a close eye on the behavior of the pet, for dog walks I will also check the temperature of the ground before leaving.
