Hoi, Mijn naam is Esmée en ik ben 26 jaar. Ik heb sinds mijn 14e een hondje gehad. Zij was mijn alles en is helaas is zij begin dit jaar overleden. Our dog, Rebecca, was with Esmee for 11 days. We were so happy to see that "Becca" was having good time playing and enjoying parks and outise areas. We could see that with the photos and videos that Esmee sent to us daily. That's made us more reliefe because we could see her happy everyday. I almost enjoy spending time with dogs more than with people. I really love social dogs and I love playing and training, which I find so rewarding! I get excited when dogs are excited and love learning, so I have no problem leaving the house 10 times a day to potty train a puppy or walk for two hours in the park with an active dog while throwing a ball or doing little search challenges. I also think it's much nicer to cuddle on the couch after a long (or short) day in the park. I have signed up to Petbnb, since I work too much to be a dog mom myself - instead I will be the fun aunt. More about my experience: I've grown up around labradors and a springer spaniel in my family, all family dogs and some also trained and used for hunting. It taught me simple training techniques and made me see the joy that comes with a well-behaved and loved dog. I was the regular dog sitter for a broholmer for a few years, we always had the best time together. Currently I am the regular sitter for an old staffy. We tend to spend more time on the couch than in the park, but that's her preference. I also love bringing her when getting a coffee with friends or take her on a drive somewhere fun outside the city. Additionally I volunteer at a dog shelter, where I clean and go for walks with the dogs. I meet many different breeds here every week, and additionally I get to learn from professional dog trainers and caretakers. I've previously owned an english bulldog, Benji, a young rescue. He had issues with eating, seperation and stress because of his experiences, which I worked on together with a professional trainer. I definitely have a soft spot for those bully breeds now. Dogs communicate so much to us, and it's very important to read their body language, while I only give simple, easy to understand commands and use my body language. I am always calm and let the dog come to me, so they feel more relaxed and they can trust me. I have a lot of patience when getting to know new dogs, and I really appreciate all the little wins along the way, also if your dog has any special needs. More about my personal life: I'm originally from Copenhagen and moved to Amsterdam three years ago, when my boyfriend got a job here. I took a chance, quit my job and moved. I have learned some dutch, but communicate better in english still. I work in the fashion industry in a creative job. - I currently work full time and commute, so only my weekends are available. - We have an elevator in our building, if we are dog sitting in our apartment.

Ik vind het belangrijk een huisdier de juiste zorg, aandacht en stabiliteit te kunnen bieden. Door middel van deze website help ik graag de baasjes die op zoek zijn naar een oppasadres en kan ik toch zorgen voor een huisdier. Ik kan niet wachten om de gezelligheid te ervaren van een huis met kat of hond. BELANGRIJK: Mijn appartement heeft 4 trappen en geen lift. Voor mij is het geen probleem de hond te tillen, maar natuurlijk wel met toestemming van zijn/haar baasje. Heeft u daar zelf ideeën over dan hoor ik dit graag.

Hij is ook op zoek naar een groepje honden die hij kan wandelen elke week (of meerdere keren per week) in het rembrandtpark (of/en evt. vondelpark). Hier wonen wij het dichts bij. Kaio heeft ervaring met honden, hij heeft zelf een Dalmatier gehad en een pincher die zich gedraagd als een Pit bull ;). Ik heb al veel op honden opgepast via hondenoppas.nl tijdens mijn studie. Ik had vaste oppasadressen en dat vond ik heel leuk. Wij kunnen tevens ook langs huizen fietsen om thuis op te passen of te verzorgen. Ook op katjes.
