Hi! Ik ben Yvonne en ik ben 31 jaar. Ik woon sinds een paar jaar in Utrecht en ik heb een vaste kantoorbaan. Als kind was ik altijd al weg van honden en we hebben bijna altijd honden gehad, groot & klein. De afgelopen twee jaar heb ik gezorgd voor onze senior Franse Bulldog, maar helaas is zij overleden in september. Omdat ik het toch heel erg mis om een (of meerdere) honden om me heen te hebben, wil ik heel graag oppassen. Ik kom graag langs voor het oppassen, maar honden kunnen ook bij mij verblijven voor één of meer dagen. Belangrijk om te weten is dat er bij mij 2 stijle trappen zijn die voor honden niet makkelijk op te komen zijn. Hondjes van onder de 10 kilo kan ik de trap optillen, maar voor zwaardere honden kan dit dus wel lastig worden. I always exchange with friends to look after each other's dogs when we go on holidays. My last chow died at the age of 15 in March. I'm not ready for a new one but would love to be around with man's best friends again. I live in a pet-proof apartment with doggy door to the terrace facing south with green view. The building also has lift. The neiboughhood is very green, literally a dog park under my balcony. there are lake and grasslands nearby, perfect for walking dogs. The building also has lift. Last but not least, my partner and I have lived together since 2007, now both of us work from home and love dogs dearly, I guarantee we will have lot of time to play with your babies! ☺️😛 Ik had 4 honden in mijn 44 jarige leven. Duitse herder in mijn jeugd, en drie chows in de laatste 15 jaar. Ik ruil altijd met vrienden om op op elkaars honden te passen als we op vakantie gaan. Mijn laatste chow stierf op 15-jarige leeftijd in maart. Maart. Ik ben nog niet toe aan een nieuwe, maar... maar ik zou graag weer bij de beste vrienden. Ik woon in een huisdier-proof appartement met honden deur naar het terras op het zuiden met groen uitzicht. Het gebouw heeft ook een lift. De buurt is erg groen, letterlijk een hondenpark onder mijn balkon. Er zijn meer en graslanden in de buurt, perfect om te wandelen honden. Het gebouw heeft ook een lift. Last but not least, mijn partner en ik hebben wonen samen sinds 2007, nu werken we allebei werken vanuit huis en houden veel van honden, ik garanderen dat we veel tijd hebben om te spelen met uw baby's! ❤️

He took excellent care of Hilbert, regularly sent us lovely videos from their walks, gave him the medication he needed, and even kept his health tracker charged. He sent me updates with photos which I appreciate, and he lives right in the park which is perfect for dogs. He is also a very friendly and approachable person which I find important as you need to feel the ease of communication with the person taking care of your furry family member. But there is nothing more rewarding than earning a dogs trust. For example, here in Amsterdam I am regularly taking care of my friends foster dog. She’s been through a lot of hardships in life, but after a while I was finally able to earn her trust and my friend can travel on the weekends 🥰 I see dogsitting as a wonderful opportunity for me to share the love for dogs and support dog owners, while currently our life situation doesn’t allow us to adopt one ourselves.

Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats and horses and have been actively caring for animals since I was very young. Our family dogs included an Italian Greyhound, Tibetan Spaniel and Chihuahua, and I also had my own cat who came into our family the same week I was born and stayed with us for 21 years, so I truly grew up alongside him. I’m always happy to send photos and little updates so you can see what your pet has been up to. 🐾 I also grew up around much larger dogs, as my grandmother was a Rottweiler breeder for around 10 years. For about six years, I regularly helped by taking her Rottweilers on walks 1–3 times a week, so I became comfortable around bigger and stronger dogs from a young age. I have experience with puppies and kittens, adults and seniors, including shy animals and pets that need a little more patience and time to feel comfortable. I’m affectionate, calm and attentive, but I also love playing and being active with energetic dogs. Long walks are one of my favourite parts of dog sitting! I live very close to Sloterpark and lots of nature, so there are plenty of opportunities for walks and outdoor time. I’m happy to go on longer walks with active dogs, but equally happy to spend the day playing, cuddling or simply keeping a more relaxed pet company at home. Pets are very welcome to stay with me, which is actually my preferred option. I live with my partner in a spacious three-bedroom apartment with a large balcony, and we don't have any pets of our own, so your pet will get plenty of attention and space to feel at home. I’m most comfortable with small and medium-sized dogs, although I also have experience with larger breeds. I’m happy to care for puppies, energetic dogs, seniors and dogs that need a little extra time to warm up. I also have lots of experience with cats and am comfortable with feeding, litter boxes, playtime and both affectionate and more independent personalities. Since moving abroad, having my own pet hasn't suited my lifestyle, and having animals around is something I genuinely miss. Pet sitting gives me the best of both worlds, I get to have that companionship again while giving someone else's pet lots of love, attention and some very good walks. ❤️
