Some dogs need a quiet walk with a lot of sniffing, while others will be happy to engage in play, running, or simple exercises. :) After prior arrangement and longer cooperation, it is possible to introduce elements of training, e.g., calmly passing other dogs/pedestrians/cyclists, reaction to recall, heelwork. I base my work on the relationship with the dog (it means that I prefer to teach clear communication rather than luring with treats). I do not use aversive methods, I do not walk dogs on a slip/loop leash, of course I can help with matching the appropriate collar/harness for your dog to feel comfortable :) About DROP-IN VISITS FOR CATS 🐈‍⬛ So far I gained experience in caring for multiple various of cats sizes and personalities (European, British, Ragdoll, Maine Coon, Persian, ginger cat 🐈😹). And even if they was described as non-playful, we found a way to become friends and eventually even the owner was surprised to see their instinct waking up and result in a little chase. I think I have that 5th sence to act calm and predictable also around cats with aggressive behaviors, in the way to reduce their anxiety and boost positive associations. Besides of dog-walks cats drop-in visits are my favorite part of the day. :) I take care of indoor cats only. About LOGEREN/BOARDING: *we don't take new dogs at the moment* We've recently moved to Gronau in DE, so for Nederlands customers there is an EU pet passport needed (with valid rabies vaccination). We have a dedicated guest room for your pet for feeding and resting, as seen in the photos. It creates a safe space where we place his/her bed, blankets, feeding bowls, toys, and snacks/brainwork toys with treats to minimize stress. If our guest can sleep alone, this is his personal bedroom; if not, I'm there for emotional support during the night. During the day, there is a garden "on demand" for a quick pee or play/digging, in addition to regular walks. We also have a safety gate in the hallway, splitting our house in half. If your dog doesn't feel comfortable among other animals or needs some time in private, it will prevent direct contact and allow safe switching. If your dog gets along with my dog Noxi (which we test on at least one walk together before inviting you home), then the gate is open most of the time. We close it only for feeding time and moments when I need to go out (discussed individually). Walks are adjusted to your dog's needs, either together with my dog or solo. If there is no problem with car traveling, we'll explore nature. About DAGOPVANG/DAYCARE There are two options - at my place and at yours. 1. Daycare at my place - exceptional for Puppies or individual cases, not possible long-term. 2. Taking daytime care at the place where the dog (or other animal) lives. If your furry companion has separation anxiety (which is mostly a reason), then by my visits, we can reduce stress little by little by caring about a healthy mental state and extending 'alone time' slowly, not increasing it by switching places twice a day. Also, we can create a plan to work with his/her fears little by little in a safe environment. As a behavioral consultant, I have experience and knowledge to arrange a good therapy plan (full consultation includes additional cost, but solving a problem is worth it, right? ;) ) About ME ;) As a proffesional petsitter, I guarantee you quality time with your dog/cat/rabbit/budgie. My training skills comes from studies, courses and workshops conducted by force free dog training experts. I had the opportunity to assist in running a dog kindergarten and classes for companion dogs. I have experience in petsitting dogs, cats, rodents, and exotic species both at mine and at the owner's home. I also provide behavioral consultations and can apply any medication if needed. I live with Noxi, a lovely medium-sized bitch (sterilized) who accepts the company of dogs and cats, respecting their space and signals, and expecting the same from them. We have the best experiences with intact males. I can't say that she is friendly to every other dog, rather the opposite. Sometimes she's grumpy and needs time to build trust, but if they ‘click’ with each other, she claims him as a part of her team ;) Want to know a bit more? I studied animal behavior for 5 years at the University of Life Sciences in Lublin city (Poland). Later, I also built veterinary technician and dog trainer skills. I am constantly gaining wider competencies, participating in kyno conferences, short courses, and workshops like "Aggression in dogs" with Amber Batson, "Emotions and motivations" with Alexa Capra, communication classes events and webinars about dogs' communication with Michele Minunno. I ran a temporary home for dogs and other companion animals, helping with adoption procedures. I gained a lot of experience dealing with many dogs, some of them had kinds of behavioral issues, but as a beh/dog trainer, I can say I speak their language ;) In a positive, kind, and respectful way, of course. I also had the opportunity to deal with various exotic species, mainly due to work as an animal keeper at the ZOO. Lieve betrouwbare oppas met groot hart voor honden

Ik heb een grote liefde voor honden. Ik heb mijn eigen hond in moeten laten slapen na 15 jaar. Nu wil ik graag op andere honden gaan passen en zo hond en baasje blij maken. Honden zijn mijn leven. 🐕🐕‍🦺🦮

Mijn naam is Katrin en ik ben 42 jaar oud. Ik woon samen met mijn man en om het weekend de kinderen (16 & 14) in Wapenveld. Alfie (Podenco) is een rescue hond en heeft zijn eerste 1.5 jaar op straat geleefd. Hij is nu 8 jaar. Hierdoor heeft hij een hele goede en duidelijke hondentaal geleerd. Tot nu toe zijn wij nog geen hond tegen gekomen waar hij niet mee overweg kan ook al is de ander hond bang, hij weet hem/haar uit de schelp te halen. Hij vind het super leuk om met ander honden te wandelen en te spelen. DeeDee is een ondeugende 4 jaar oude Jack Russel die de hele dag wil spelen en knuffelen. of haar kunstjes wil laten zien. zij kan ook wel een dametje zijn maar zij vind alles en iedereen leuk. In het weekeind ga ik/gaan wij vaak met Alfie en DeeDee naar het bos of maak ik/maken wij lange wandelingen. Ik heb kennis van Podencos, Jack Russell's, Kangals, Rottweiler, Golden Retriever, heb vroeger een Megelse Herder als pleeghond gehad. Ook heb ik ervaringen met ander rassen, al heb ik die nooit zelf gehad. Voor meer vragen sta ik open. Honden-en huizenoppas in heel Nederland mogelijk

Labradors en golden retrievers heb ik het meeste ervaring mee. Ik vind het heerlijk om lange wandelingen te maken en met een bal te spelen. Lekker knuffelen en veel aandacht geef ik aan honden. De hond van mijn vriend is onlangs overleden. Ze heeft de respectabele leeftijd van 14 jaar bereikt. Ze was niet de snelste meer maar ik liet haar heerlijk snuffelen bij het wandelen. Ik mis haar enorm en heb veel tijd nu om voor andere honden te zorgen. In ieder geval totdat mijn vriend er weer aan toe is om een andere hond te willen of zelf een hond zou nemen. Voor nu lijkt dit een mooie win-win situatie:).

Jacquelien heeft ons echt overtroffen in de zorg voor onze hond. We hadden daarnaast een zieke kat..die ze zo zorgvol heeft verzorgd en dat ook heel pittig bleek..maar die er helemaal bovenop is gekomen. Daar zijn we echt dankbaar voor. Jacquelien heeft echt zoveel liefde voor dieren!! We konden ons geen betere dierenoppas wensen en hopen dat ze in de toekomst weer een keer wil langskomen en wilt oppassen.

Ik ben een ontzettende dierenliefhebber maar kan wegens reisplannen zelf nog geen vriendelijke viervoeter in huis nemen. Daarom vind ik het leuk om af en toe op een dieren te passen, zodat ik lekker met de hond naar buiten kan en prachtige wandelingen kan maken. Oppas aan huis!

Hi, Mijn naam is Rianne. Al mijn hele leven ben ik een grote dierenvriend. Doordat mijn vader beheerder was van een kinderboerderij ben ik opgegroeid met verschillende dieren (huisdieren en boerderijdieren). Zo hadden wij thuis altijd (heel veel) parkieten, had ik zelf een cavia, een kat en heb ik verschillende hamsters gehad door de jaren heen. Omdat ik katten heel leuk vind maar jammer genoeg zelf geen ruimte (buiten) heb voor een kat thuis lijkt het mij leuk om op te passen! Ik pas momenteel ook geregeld op de kat van familie en op die van buren. Voor andere dieren kan in natuurlijk ook langskomen! Binnen Utrecht kan ik langskomen voor voeren en natuurlijk om de kat even aandacht te geven/spelen. Mocht ik langere tijd langskomen dan kan ik natuurlijk wel ik de bak verschonen. Buiten en in Utrecht kan ik eventueel ook komen overnachten. Ik ben flexibel met werk dus zou eventueel wanneer nodig vanuit ‘huis’ kunnen werken. En daarbij vind ik het ook niet erg om op meerdere dieren tegelijk te passen. Ik ben altijd opgegroeid met meerdere (herders) honden en katten. Zo af en toe vind ik het dan ook heerlijk om weer even omringd te zijn met dieren. goed om te weten: katten oppas kan ik combineren met werk. Honden niet, hierdoor heb ik besloten enkel op katten te passen. ik woon zelf in Apeldoorn, maar werk in Utrecht. Oftewel voldoende mogelijkheden om op te passen in/rondom volgende steden: Apeldoorn, Amersfoort, Utrecht, Ede, Amsterdam, Soest, Hilversum.

Fijne oppas voor mijn twee Maine Coon katers. De communicatie verliep heel goed en Meggie gaf ons foto's met updates. Zo konden wij onbezorgd vakantie vieren. Dank! :)
