I moved to Netherlands 3 years ago for university and have been missing the time I got to spend with her and interacting with any dog in general. This is why i want to be a dog sitter or walker. I allways loved playing catch and going on walks with my dog but I also love the more chill time we would spend cuddling on the couch and watching tv. I am also aware that some dogs might take a while to warm up to new people and can prefer to keep their distance. I have dog sitted for my friends before who had dogs that were nor as quick to warm up to me. That’s why i know to give space to dogs that might prefer to not get very close to new people. Overall, I love just spending time with dogs and listening to them for how they want to be treated and what they want to do.

Ik woon vlakbij een park in Amsterdam en elke dag loop ik door een waar hondenparadijs. Helaas is mijn appartement net te klein om een hond in te houden, en is PetBnB daarom de perfecte oplossing! Mijn liefde om naar buiten de natuur in te gaan en de fantastische plekken hier in de buurt voor honden zijn denk ik de gouden combinatie voor een leuke oppas-sessie. Het Oosterpark is namelijk ook vlakbij! Ik heb zelf veel opgepast op honden van vrienden en vroeger thuis ook honden gehad. Ik heb een voorkeur voor de wat grotere honden, ook met de wens om zelf later een grote hond te hebben :) Het lijkt mij fantastisch om lekker buiten te gaan wandelen en te gaan spelen met jouw hond en zo alvast te oefenen voor later! And every day I walk through a true dog paradise, but unfortunately I find my apartment just too small to keep a dog here. In addition, the Flevopark is also less than 10 minutes away! I think the energy I have and the fantastic places nearby for dogs are the golden combination for a nice sleepover. I have looked after friends' dogs a lot myself and used to have dogs at home. Preference for the larger dogs! Also with the wish to have a large dog in the future :) I think it would be great to go for a walk outside and play with your dog. And so to practice for later! Hi allemaal! I.v.m. internationale hondeneigenaren is de introductie in het Engels. I’m a 26-year-old student with lifelong experience in training and raising dogs. By taking behavioral dog training courses as well as teaching our late Swiss shepherd agility and tracking, I’ve grown to love shepherds and retrievers. However, I am a big fan of most other breeds too! While I live in an apartment, it is located right next to the Amstel - with plenty outdoor space and a short metro ride from Gaasperplas. I’m well-versed in outdoor and indoor activities, and like to keep dogs occupied and happy. Open for discussion is the question whether your dog likes to do shared walks - my parents live nearby with our Collie-Husky mix (as seen in my fourth photo). (Note: when I’m unavailable, my mother (an experienced dog trainer) likes to offer herself up as a back-up. I can ask for her availability too, if your dog doesn’t mind staying with her and the family dog.) Chili heeft een super fijne dag gehad bij Kim :hugging:! Lekker veel gespeeld en veel ruimte gekregen om haar energie kwijt te raken! Zelfs nog wat trainingen tussendoor. Overall, blije pup! En wij waren blij met alle tussentijdse updates/filmpjes! Ze kijkt er naar uit om volgend weekend een nachtje te logeren en weer met Marlowe te spelen.

Hondenliefhebbers zonder hond die graag oppassen!

Hi! Wij wonen met zijn tweetjes in een beganegrond appartement in amsterdam west en passen graag af en toe een dagje, weekend, of langer op! We zijn opgegroeid met honden en katten en hebben op dit moment één britse korthaar kat thuis (die goed met honden omgaat. Of liever gezegd, onverschillig is richting honden). We willen op een gegeven moment zelf heel graag een hond (Samoyed, Golden Retriever, Australian shepherd, Goldendoodle, of een soortgelijke middelgrote-grote sociale hond) maar op dit moment past dit niet in onze levensstijl (we zijn vaak op reis) dus daarom lijkt het ons heel leuk om voor nu af en toe op deze lieve diertjes te passen! We hebben een ruim huis met (voor amsterdamse begrippen) een ruime groene tuin. In het weekend zoeken we graag de natuur op en houden we ervan om lange wandelingen door het bos of over het strand te maken. Liefst met viervoeter erbij! Groetjes Veer en Steef

George is a 9kg Kooiker Mix Rescue from Spain (5 years old & castrated) and very good and playful especially with small and midsize dogs. Some upfront check whether the dogs are getting along fine is needed, a casual walk would be ideal. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Miso had a lovely time with Jasmine and George. We had a very useful meet & greet beforehand, the communication throughout was clear and timely, and I got some cute photos. Jasmine is clearly experienced with dogs and I had zero hesitation in entrusting her with mine. An excellent experience.

I have loved dogs all my life from childhood forth

I am 68 year old but have a lot of experience with dogs. I have had 4 dogs myself as long as I am married (37 years), and have looked after dogs of the neigbours too since my childhood. I love dogs very much. One of my neighbours had a problem with his American Pitbul Terrier and had so much trust in me, that I took care of this young dog more than a year in my own house, till they reshaped their house to better fit the animals (dogs and cats) that they had. I loved this intelligent special dog, and trained him to be a good and save dog to keep. I work full time during the week, so I am at this moment only available on Saturdays and on Sunday afternoon for full care. I can walk dogs also now and then in the evening if its near my house. I live near the Amsterdam Wood in Amstelveen.

Ik laat al ruim zeven jaar honden uit voor buurtgenoten. Heb snel veel vertrouwen bij ze geboekt en een goede band met ze opgebouwd. Ze voelen meteen dat ik het goed met ze voor heb. Lekker wandelen in het park, het liefst zonder riem, als mogelijk. Ik laat ze graag genieten van wat vrijheid, maar ben ook duidelijk in mijn bevelen. Laat ze lekker spelen met bal of stok. Er staat in mijn profiel dat ik geen buitenruimte heb, dwz geen tuin, maar wel een heerlijk balkon. Als het een langere periode is dat honden bij mij verblijven, maximaal 1 week, moet de hond wel even alleen gelaten kunnen worden. Als de hond goed alleen kan zijn, is een langere periode bespreekbaar. Als je hond makkelijk mee te nemen is of een paar uur alleen kan zijn, dan is mijn kalender flexibeler. nu staan de dagen aangevinkt waarop ik geen afspraak heb. Ik ben een betrouwbaar iemand, die altijd haar afspraken nakomt. Eventuele referenties daarvoor kun je krijgen bij de hondeneigenaren van mijn uitlaathonden, of Petbnb reviews. Ik pas het liefst op kleine tot middelgrote honden. Ik ben zelf nl. ook niet zo groot. Ik heb de cursus ‘liefdevolle communicatie met je hond’ bij Stressless dogs gedaan.

Brigitte is een ontzettend lieve en enthousiaste hondenliefhebber. Ze wil alles over je hond weten om zo goed mogelijk voor haar logé te kunnen zorgen. Ze stuurt fijne updates en foto’s. Ruby was helemaal op haar gemak, en ik dus ook. Geen moment twijfel of ze wel in goede handen was. ook verwacht zeker dat Ruby vaker zal gaan logeren bij Brigitte :smiley:.
