Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover, and dogs have always been part of my life. Growing up, we had several dogs at home, from small to large, and I’ve been involved in everything from everyday care and walks to giving medication and looking after dogs when they’re unwell. Since moving to the Netherlands, I’ve continued to dog-sit for friends and family, often having their dogs stay with us for several days while they’re away. Hi! Wij zijn Michiel en Nathalie en wonen samen in Hillegersberg Noord. We zijn 10 jaar samen, werken allebei en zijn echte dierenliefhebbers. Michiel is opgegroeid met een schapendoes en Nathalie met een kat. *dutch below* For the last 1,5 year I've been fostering dogs with my girlfriend. The last dog got adopted a month ago and we decided to take a break from fostering. I'm from Chile and in May I'll do my exam to get Dutch citizenship, until then I've loads of free time to walk with dogs. I'm a real dog lover and I love going for walks. For 13 and a half years I shared my life with my wonderful Idun, last 9 months I dedicate my life to her after an amputation and a fierce battle against cancer. Unfortunately, early this year, I had to let my baby go and while Im not ready to welcome another dog in my life yet, I do miss the love and joy they bring and understand how important is to have someone you can trust to look after them, I would love to be that person! NL\ENG In mijn jeugd ben ik altijd omringt geweest door honden en katten. Bij mijn ouders hebben we een boxer en nu ik uit huis ben mis ik haar heel erg. Hierdoor weet ik wel heel goed hoe ik met honden om moet gaan. Bella blijf ook af en toe bij mij slapen. Voor katten ben ik ook beschikbaar ik heb alleen wel veel planten dus dit moet wel goed samen kunnen gaan. Mijn beschikbaarheid hangt af van wanneer ik in een bakkerij werk en van mijn studie tot kunstdocent. Deze studie heb ik standaard dinsdagavond 18.00-21.00 en vrijdag 9.00-17.00. Dinsdag kan er dus wel een huisdier komen logeren, maar die moet dan of 4 uurtjes alleen kunnen zijn of na 21.30 worden gebracht. Voor dagopvang hetzelfde dit kan tot 17.00. In de vakanties ben ik bijna elke dag beschikbaar. Ik mis het heel erg om huisdieren om mijn heen te hebben en ben daarom ook erg enthousiast om op te passen!!! :) Ik woon 7 min lopen van de Rotte waar ik erg lekker kan wandelen en andere parken rondom mijn woning, ik ben hier omgeven door natuur! Bij mijn appartementencomplex is ook een parkje om te wandelen. Ik woon op 19 hoog met een balkon dat om de hoek van mijn studio loopt, maar ik zal de honden of katten niet alleen of zonder riem op het balkon laten. Mijn studio is 45 m2 groot. Ik hoor het graag als u speciale wensen heeft, en zal mij zo goed mogelijk aanpassen aan uw huisdier hun routine zodat dit niet veranderd. U zult zeker foto's en updates krijgen van uw huisdier wanneer ik oppas!

Ik ben gek op dieren en mis het gezelschap in huis

Wij hebben zelf 15 jaar een kruising chihuahua/ dwergpincher gehad, die we nu 2 jaar moeten missen. ik werk niet dus het is erg stil in huis. ik heb dus zat tijd en wil graag oppassen en hulp bieden waar dat kan. Ik vind het ook niet erg juist fijn als de hond erg aanhankelijk is en die van kroelen houd. Maar als de hond liever op zichzelf is is dat natuurlijk ook prima! De tijden kunnen we in overleg bespreken wat halen en brengen betreft. Zelf ben ik ook wel eens van de foto's sturen hoe het beestje het naar zn zin heeft !

Lio is nu al een aantal keer bij Michelle geweest en wij zijn erg tevreden. Bij het afzetten rent hij zonder omkijken naar binnen en dat is wat je graat ziet! Sinds kort heeft Michelle een puppy en gelukkig gaat dat ook goed samen. Ik krijg af en toe een video of foto doorgestuurd en kan haar altijd appen met vragen. Kortom; Michelle is onze vaste oppas en wij zijn daar blij mee!
