Honden om mij heen, daar word ik blij van

Hoi! Sinds ik mij kan herinneren heb ik eigenlijk altijd dieren om mij heen gehad. Het begon met onze golden retriever Randy, daarna kwam corgi James en inmiddels is er Monty. Daarnaast hebben we thuis ook altijd konijnen en cavia’s gehad. Ik heb dus van jongs af aan veel voor dieren gezorgd en honden meegemaakt van pup tot op oudere leeftijd. Hoewel ik nog niet veel professionele ervaring als hondenoppas heb, heb ik wel genoeg persoonlijke ervaring. Naast onze eigen honden heb ik regelmatig op honden van familie, vrienden en kennissen gepast, van een dagje tot meerdere dagen achter elkaar. Ik ben dus zeker gewend om de zorg voor een hond over te nemen en rekening te houden met zijn of haar eigen ritme en gewoontes. Inmiddels woon ik al een aantal jaar op mezelf in Rotterdam. Monty komt natuurlijk nog regelmatig logeren, maar ik merk dat ik het gewoon mis om vaker een hond om me heen te hebben. Dat is eigenlijk ook de reden dat ik me hier heb aangemeld. Ik vang graag een hond bij mij thuis op, maar vind het net zo leuk om honden uit te laten. Ik ben graag buiten en vind het heerlijk om een flink stuk te wandelen, dus daarin pas ik me vooral aan aan wat een hond gewend is. Tegelijkertijd hoeft een hond van mij helemaal niet altijd actief of sociaal te zijn. Ik kan net zo genieten van een hond die graag bij je komt liggen als van een eigenwijs type dat vooral zijn eigen gang gaat. Ik vind het juist leuk dat iedere hond zijn eigen karakter en behoeftes heeft. Ik woon in een wat kleiner appartement zonder balkon, maar wel met een lift. In de omgeving zijn genoeg groene veldjes, parken en fijne routes om te wandelen. Ik vang maximaal één hond tegelijk op, zodat ik ook echt de tijd en aandacht voor hem of haar heb. Grotere honden zijn ook welkom, zolang ze gewend zijn aan het wonen in een kleiner appartement en zich daar prettig bij voelen. Wanneer ik een hond opvang, ben ik gewoon thuis. Mocht ik toch ergens naartoe gaan waar een hond mee kan, dan vind ik het leuk om hem of haar mee te nemen, natuurlijk alleen als het baasje daar ook prettig bij is. Voor bijvoorbeeld boodschappen of een klein rondje hardlopen zou een hond soms even alleen zijn. Iets over mezelf: ik ben 25, werk in het juridische veld en houd van koken, tennis, fotografie, goede wijn, de natuur en nieuwe dingen ontdekken. Van 26 september t/m 21 oktober ben ik vrij voordat mijn nieuwe baan begint en heb ik veel ruimte voor opvang en wandelingen. Daarna blijf ik graag oppassen en uitlaten, maar zal mijn beschikbaarheid vooral in de avonden, weekenden en af en toe op vrijdag zijn.

Mijn doel is dat jij als baasje met een gerust hart op vakantie kunt, wetende dat jouw hond het net zo fijn heeft als jij. Ik ben gek op dieren en mis het gezelschap in huis

Wij hebben zelf 15 jaar een kruising chihuahua/ dwergpincher gehad, die we nu 2 jaar moeten missen. ik werk niet dus het is erg stil in huis. ik heb dus zat tijd en wil graag oppassen en hulp bieden waar dat kan. Ik vind het ook niet erg juist fijn als de hond erg aanhankelijk is en die van kroelen houd. Maar als de hond liever op zichzelf is is dat natuurlijk ook prima! De tijden kunnen we in overleg bespreken wat halen en brengen betreft. Zelf ben ik ook wel eens van de foto's sturen hoe het beestje het naar zn zin heeft !

Lio is nu al een aantal keer bij Michelle geweest en wij zijn erg tevreden. Bij het afzetten rent hij zonder omkijken naar binnen en dat is wat je graat ziet! Sinds kort heeft Michelle een puppy en gelukkig gaat dat ook goed samen. Ik krijg af en toe een video of foto doorgestuurd en kan haar altijd appen met vragen. Kortom; Michelle is onze vaste oppas en wij zijn daar blij mee!
