Honden liefhebbers in de Rivierenbuurt 🤎

Hi, ik ben Aileen! Ik werk als freelance fotograaf, waardoor ik doordeweeks vaak flexibel ben en veel vanuit huis werk. Ik woon samen met mijn vriend, die ook zzp'er is. Daardoor is er bijna altijd wel iemand thuis. Daarom lijkt het ons leuk om af en toe op honden te passen via Petbnb. Ik ben opgegroeid met honden en heb eigenlijk altijd honden om me heen gehad. Vroeger hadden wij thuis een Briard en tegenwoordig hebben mijn ouders een Labradoodle, Cavapoo en een Roemeense straathond. Daarnaast heb ik de afgelopen jaren regelmatig op hun honden gepast. Mijn vriend en ik hebben zelf ook een hond: Moos, een jonge Border Collie x Samojeed kruising. Hij is sociaal, speels en kan goed overweg met andere honden. Daarom vinden we het belangrijk dat een eventuele logeerhond ook vriendelijk is naar andere honden. We wonen in de Rivierenbuurt in Amsterdam, in een ruim appartement met twee balkons. Op loopafstand liggen verschillende parken en groenstroken waar we dagelijks wandelen. Honden die bij ons logeren worden echt onderdeel van ons dagelijks leven: we maken fijne wandelingen, zorgen voor voldoende rust en natuurlijk ook voor de nodige aandacht en knuffels. Omdat we maar af en toe oppassen, nemen we alleen honden aan waarvan we denken dat ze goed bij ons en bij Moos passen. Daarom vinden we het fijn om vooraf eerst even kennis te maken. Onze labradoodle Kiwi heeft 3 weekjes bij Aileen en haar vriend mogen logeren. Ging super! Veel updates en foto’s gekregen en onze lieve kiwi is erg goed verzorgd :grin: heel blij mee!

I go on walks everyday and would love a companion

The dopamine I get from seeing a dog in his happy element brings me immense joy. Taking them on long walks while playing games with them makes the happy moments in our days. Having moved to the Netherlands I have missed the company that dogs provide, being close to them provides a feeling of closeness which I haven't had in a long time. I have always had dogs around me as far as I can remember, I am half French half Seychellois and am 21 years old. My apartment is quite big (112sqm) and I am located at a 5 minute walk from Erasmus park and Rembrantpark which I really enjoy going for walks in. I live with another roommate who is also a big dog enthusiast so there will always be someone to take care of your dog. I have also dogsitted here in Amsterdam for a year on a different platform so I am familiar with the processes of petsitting here. I prefer vaccinated pets and who have a updated medical record. Over mij: Sinds ik op mijzelf woon pas ik regelmatig op honden (en soms katten): gewoon omdat ik het leuk vind en graag buiten ben! Zelf een huisdier nemen is geen mogelijkheid gezien mijn fulltime baan, dus dit is een fijne oplossing met alleen maar winnaars! Aanvullende info: Ik heb 3,5 jaar in een dierenasiel gewerkt en daardoor ervaring met kleine honden (0-10kg), maar ook met grote honden zoals Turkse Herders (45-55kg). Ik deins daarom echt niet terug door het uiterlijk van een hond en de vooroordelen die bestaan over een ras, maar ik vind het wel belangrijk dat de hond betrouwbaar en goed opgevoed is. Neem gerust contact op! Ik ben flexibel en denk graag mee. - Op vrijdagen alleen vanaf eind van de middag (tenzij feestdag). - In weekenden ook in omgeving Twente mogelijk.

Onze Bowie heeft echt een geweldige week met Anouk gehad! Onze dalmaat is namelijk best een eigenzinnig geval en houdt niet zo van verandering. Dat wij een weekje zonder haar op vakantie gaan, vindt ze al niet zo leuk en moet ze echt even uit haar comfortzone komen. Maar daarom was het des te fijner dat ze wel lekker in haar eigen omgeving kon blijven en Anouk zich een hele week over haar heeft ontfermd in ons huis. Het is vantevoren best spannend hoe dat zal uitpakken, maar Anouk is echt een zeer betrokken oppas met veel hondenkennis en -ervaring. Door haar rust en geduld, hebben wij ook echt kunnen genieten van onze vakantie. Ze stuurde ons elke dag even een korte update en het huis was helemaal netjes toen we weer thuis kwamen. Wij zijn superblij met Anouk en de volgende keer gaan we haar zeker weer vragen, ze echt een topper!

We are working from home most of the time, I wont accep’t dog boarding or daycare if we are not home the whole time. And never leave your dog home alone. We would be happy to support you and give the attention your dog deserves during the times you are apart from each other. You can be sure that your dog is safe with us. Tommy is very friendly with all dogs and people. He socialized very well with puppies when he was small and he is still a very social dog. However male dogs tend not to like him(unless it’s a puppy) and that’s why we always try to let them meet before we commit to anything. He is very playful and full of energy. There could be times where Tommy is away. But it cant be guaranteed. We see every situation as a training opportunity, and we try to improve ourselves to be better to take care of our own dog in the best way possible. The only reason we do this is only to help other dog owners like us, who needs a safe and warm home for their dog. Hope to help you as well.
