I enjoy taking care of dogs. For my 8th birthday my parents gave me the best present of my life—a puppy. Funnily enough, the puppy's name was Gift. He quickly became a family member, and I was his "mom”,taking care of him. We shared both good and challenging times, from our evening walks in the park that were my daily meditation, to the tough moments when he was unwell, and so much more. In my family we even nicknamed the park, where we walked him every day, after him—Gift's Park. When I was 18, I moved to the Netherlands and started working as a dog sitter. Every dog is different and has its own personality, and I truly enjoy this as a side job. I’ve been doing this for 6 years now. I have experience with other pets as well - I took care of guinea pigs and a parrot. Grote hond liefhebber opzoek naar hondjes!

Ik ben zelf echt opgegroeid met honden, en mis een hondje in huis! Alleen heb ik daar nog niet geld voor, maar dit lijkt me dus een leuke oplossing. I have had my dog since he was a puppy. My wife wants another one, but I'm not sure yet, as we might move intercontinental in a couple of years and the idea of a dog in a plane, sedated, stresses me out. helping others to take of their dog seems like a good combination to help others, while giving her a second dog in the house every now and then. Because we both are able to be working from home, there will be someone home most days though and for the the days we are not, we try to work half a day from home. once or twice a week, it might be up to 8 hours though, so that should be possible. therefore puppies are not a great fit, even though I would love to have one around. Normal walkschedule is a short walk in the morning. 30 minutes at lunch to a dog park. 15-60 minutes after work, depending on the weather. and 10 minutes before bed. Of course the dog gets lots of love and an elderly friend in Bammbamm. (please note that we do have stairs in our house) Ik spreek overigens ook Nederlands.

Onze hond Nobu vindt het heerlijk om met andere hondjes te spelen. Omdat we nog van plan zijn om veel te reizen, kiezen we ervoor om nu geen tweede hond te nemen. Wel lijkt het ons heel leuk om af en toe voor een extra hondje te zorgen en die gezelligheid voor hem te bieden. Als ik een hond zie lopen, ren ik er het liefst heen om te knuffelen. Dat vinden de baasjes niet altijd even leuk dus oppassen op jouw viervoeter lijkt me zo leuk!
