I go on walks everyday and would love a companion

The dopamine I get from seeing a dog in his happy element brings me immense joy. Taking them on long walks while playing games with them makes the happy moments in our days. Having a companion to talk to, play with is something that only a dog can provide and it is something precious to cherish those moments. Having moved to the Netherlands I have missed the company that dogs provide, being close to them provides a feeling of closeness which I haven't had in a long time. I have always had dogs around me as far as I can remember, I am half French half Seychellois and am 21 years old. My apartment is quite big (112sqm) and I am located at a 5 minute walk from Erasmus park and Rembrantpark which I really enjoy going for walks in. I live with another roommate who is also a big dog enthusiast so there will always be someone to take care of your dog. I have also dogsitted here in Amsterdam for a year on a different platform so I am familiar with the processes of petsitting here. I prefer vaccinated pets and who have a updated medical record. Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats and horses and have been actively caring for animals since I was very young. Our family dogs included an Italian Greyhound, Tibetan Spaniel and Chihuahua, and I also had my own cat who came into our family the same week I was born and stayed with us for 21 years, so I truly grew up alongside him. Hier vind u de beste hondenoppas van Amsterdam Oost :) Met een overschot aan liefde en een eindeloos geduld zorg ik voor uw hond. Echter een voorwaarde: hij/zij moet vriendjes worden met mijn kat Morgan. Ik ben veel thuis en heb daarom heel veel tijd om met uw hond te wandelen en knuffelen. Het Flevopark is bij mij om de hoek, daar zullen we veel te vinden zijn. Als het weer meezit kunnen we met de auto naar het bos of het strand. Ik heb veel ervaring met honden, ben opgegroeid met een Engelse Cocker Spaniel en heb na een scheiding co-ouderschap met onze hond Lilly, een kruising tussen een whippet en een greyhound. (Zij is op het moment in het buitenland) Ik heb veel ervaring met het zachte karakter van een whippet, maar het ras maakt me niet uit. Zolang ze maar lief zijn. Omdat ik het erg mis om een hond in huis te hebben heb ik besloten me op te geven als oppas. Uw hond zal met veel liefde verwelkomd worden.

Fantastische zorg voor onze 2 whippets tijdens onze vakantie. We werden op de hoogte gehouden en kregen erg leuke foto's. Bij ons volgende tripje gaan ze zeker weer bij Sofie logeren.😊

I have had my dog since he was a puppy. My wife wants another one, but I'm not sure yet, as we might move intercontinental in a couple of years and the idea of a dog in a plane, sedated, stresses me out. helping others to take of their dog seems like a good combination to help others, while giving her a second dog in the house every now and then. Because we both are able to be working from home, there will be someone home most days though and for the the days we are not, we try to work half a day from home. once or twice a week, it might be up to 8 hours though, so that should be possible. therefore puppies are not a great fit, even though I would love to have one around. Normal walkschedule is a short walk in the morning. 30 minutes at lunch to a dog park. 15-60 minutes after work, depending on the weather. and 10 minutes before bed. Of course the dog gets lots of love and an elderly friend in Bammbamm. (please note that we do have stairs in our house) Ik spreek overigens ook Nederlands.
