DUTCH: Ik ben zeer verantwoordelijk, ben dol op honden, het uitlaten, spelen en met ze knuffelen. Ik pas mij gemakkelijk aan de regels waar je huisdier al aan gewend is. Ik pas het liefst op honden die max. een half uur per x uit moeten (al ben ik dol op af en toe een lange wandeling te maken). Het enige waar ik mee heb, is 'valse' honden, ofwel honden die agressief zijn aangelegd waar je erg streng tegen moet zijn. Ik laat zeker zien wie 'de leider' is, maar vind het fijn om onbezorgd de hond uit te kunnen laten. Ik ben in het algemeen een dierenliefhebber, dus voor katten of andere dieren mag je me ook zeker benaderen! Ik heb de meeste ervaring met honden, katten, konijnen en vogels. I easily adapt to the rules that your pet is already used to. I prefer to take care of dogs that need to be out for a maximum of half an hour each time (although I love to take a long walk every now and then). The only thing I have a problem with is 'cheat' dogs, or dogs that are aggressive and you have to be very strict with them. I certainly show who 'the leader' is, but I like being able to walk the dog without any worries. I am an animal lover in general, so you can definitely contact me for cats or other animals! Van kinds af aan ben ik opgegroeid met honden ( en andere dieren ) Mijn vader trainde politiehonden en we hadden altijd Golden Retrievers in huis. Naast honden hadden we ook paarden, schapen , konijnen , hamsters en katten. Een gezellige beestenboel dus. Inmiddels woon ik 25 jaar in Amsterdam Niet lang geleden is mijn hondje Dex Welsh terriër overleden. ik mis haar ontzettend. maar wil nog geen nieuwe hond. dit is wellicht een leuke afleiding. Een Welsh is geen ‘ makkelijk’ hondje op te voeden, dus ik heb met Dex veel geleerd bij verschillende hondentrainingen bij hondenschool de Gabber.Ik heb Dex alles aangeleerd met een klikker. Ze vond de behendigheidstraining ( dus over allerlei hindernissen/ tunnels etc door ) ontzettend leuk. Dex kon dit zelfs beter dan ik op een gegeven moment. Hier hebben wij geleerd goed naar elkaar te kijken en zelfs met handgebaren wist ze wat de bedoeling was. Ontzettend leerzaam voor zowel Dex als baas! Omdat ik veel cursussen gedaan heb met Dex weet ik veel over het gedrag van honden. Ik snap hoe spannend het is je hond aan een ‘ vreemde ‘ mee te geven. Wees gerust, uw hond is in veilige, liefdevolle maar consequente handen bij mij! Naast honden heb ik ook ervaring. met het verzorgen van cavia’s, konijnen en katten. ( English? No problem ☺️) 🍀🐶 p.s. ik kan niet op vaste dagen in de week omdat ik zelf van maandag tot en met donderdag werk. Soms werk ik thuis. en dan kan ik de hond uitlaten. Dit kan dus in overleg.

Hey! Me and my very friendly and social Cockapoo are always excited to have other dogs join us. As with my own dog, I will make sure your dog is safe and happy with us for when you return to pick them up. As i do have a dog, I ask that we first meet so i can observe how the dogs get along first. It is very important to me that the dogs are comfortable together and enjoy themselves (both when playing and during rest). So, before any over night requests, let’s first start with a few hours at my place during the day. My home: I live in a doggy proofed apartment next to the Venserpolder metro and Duivendrecht train station with everything a dog might need or want including toys and snacks for days. While here: Nearby by, there are many green spaces (right next to my front door) and a dog walking path is located within a few mins walk away. The are also happens to be an off leash area for dogs to run around (if your dog can be let off leash and has a good recall). So, whether your dog loves to go out for a walk in the woods, run in open fields or sniffing grass, my dog and I are ready to join. For longer stays with me, I will also take the dogs to the beach (Bloomendal) or a bigger green area (Diemen Bos, Amsterdamse Bos, Gasperplas) where they can run freely once or twice a week. I take my dog out for walks every 4-6 hours (happy to adjust as needed for your dog). Text me if you have any questions for me or if you have any unique requirements your dog may need.

Isle was such a great dog sitter!!! We were lucky that she was excited to take care of our 3.5 months old puppy, Arya. As you know, puppies need to be walked frequently as they can't hold their bladder as well. She was super loving and caring to Arya, and we just knew Arya was in excellent hands. She visited Arya first at our place, and we knew it was a match. She gives us updates everyday on how Arya is doing, and is very responsive! She also lets us know when she thinks Arya had some fleas on her (which is not easy to detect since she's a black dog), and we were glad we could get rid of the fleas in time! Very nice and gentle soul, and we would highly recommend Isle! Arya was so in love with Isle that I think she didn't want to come home with us ;). Mijn liefde voor honden is groot, en met jarenlange ervaring met zorg voor verschillende hondenrassen, verwacht ik dat jouw hond een leuke tijd zal gaan hebben, door: Uitlaten & hardloopsessies (structureel of sporadisch): Normale, kortere wandelingen of lange wandelroutes tot 15 km kunnen worden afgestemd op de energie van jouw hond. Speciale hardlooproutes voor energieke honden, zoals langs de Amstel (12 km) of door het Beatrixpark (5 km) kunnen we ook doen, in overleg. In parken in de buurt van jullie huis of mijn huis, kan jouw hond los, als dat gewenst is. Als jullie in (de buurt van) Amsterdam-Zuid wonen, lijkt het me heel leuk om structureel een hond uit te laten. Ik sta er dus zeker voor open om een vaste dag af te spreken of om vast uitlater te worden. Dagopvang (Geschikt voor 1 hond of 2 honden die samenwonen): Zowel mijn vriend als ik zijn echte hondenliefhebbers, dus jouw hond krijgt volop aandacht en liefde. Wij wonen in ruim appartement (140 m²) op de 3e verdieping in Amsterdam-Zuid. Het appartement heeft een balkon en in de zomer zetten we de openslaande deuren altijd open zodat de hond op het balkon kan liggen wanneer hij of zij dat wil. Uiteraard kunnen we de deuren sluiten, mocht een hond (of baasje) het spannend vinden. Binnen 5 minuten zijn we in het Beatrixpark met een speciale losloopplek en we zijn op loopafstand van de Amstel, waar we door het gras kunnen (hard)lopen. Ik sta er zeker voor open een om een vaste oppasdag per week af te spreken, maar het lijkt me ook leuk om af en toe een oppasadres te zijn. Het is voor de baas het meest praktisch als jullie in (de buurt van) Amsterdam-Zuid wonen. Logeren (Geschikt voor 1 hond of 2 honden die samenwonen): De hond krijgt een slaapplek in de ruime gang in ons appartement op de beneden of bovenverdieping. Honden die logeren wat spannender vinden, mogen direct bij onze slaapkamerdeur. Dus of jouw hond nu een actieve hardloper is of een rustige oudere viervoeter, ik pas mijn zorg en tempo volledig aan. Met geduld en liefde bied ik jouw hond een fijne tijd, zodat jij met een gerust hart weg kunt.
