From the start, the communication was amazing, thoughtful questions to get to know Piper and his personality and regular checkins to tell us how they were getting on. Spacious enclosed garden home near Clingendaelpark

Hello, We have recently moved to a larger home in a quiet, green neighborhood right next to Clingendael Park and the Haagse Bos. This location offers direct access to some of the nicest walking routes in the area. The house has plenty of indoor space and a fully enclosed garden with grass and high hedges. Dogs can safely move around, relax outside or play, depending on their energy level. The garden is a big advantage for dogs that like having outdoor access without constant leash time. Our jobs are hybrid and we coordinate our schedules so that usually one of us is working from home. This means there is regular presence throughout the day and your dog is not left alone for long periods. We have experience with dogs of different sizes, ages and temperaments and have been doing this since before our daughter was born. We now have a toddler at home who is used to being around dogs and enjoys their company. Because of this, it is important that your dog is comfortable around young children. At home, we keep things calm and structured. We follow a consistent routine with walks, feeding, rest and downtime. Walks are often in Clingendael or the Haagse Bos, depending on the dog and weather. Inside, dogs have space to settle and we provide simple enrichment like toys and interaction. We do not take puppies younger than 6 months. Door regelmatig voor verschillende honden te zorgen, vrijwilligerswerk bij HDC, de opleiding en mijn werk als uitlaatservice, heb ik ervaring met het wandelen en begeleiden van allerlei honden: van klein tot groot, van gehoorzaam tot uitdagender, en van goed plaatsbare honden tot honden met gedragsproblemen. Ik heb zelf sinds kort een rescue hondje geadopteerd en zal daardoor een kennismaking en proefdag instellen om te kijken of het klikt:)

Mijn hele leven heb ik al een grote passie voor dieren, en honden in het bijzonder. Van jongs af aan ben ik opgegroeid met honden en heb ik altijd een sterke, natuurlijke band met ze gehad. I had 10 dogs back home but when I moved to Netherlands, I miss the presence of my pets and would love to host the dogs for the par time. More importantly for this profile, I’m someone who has basically spent my whole life surrounded by animals 🐾 I grew up in Inner Mongolia in a nomadic family, where animals have always been a huge part of everyday life. I grew up helping my family take care of sheep, goats, horses, dogs and cats, so I sometimes joke that I’m a bit of a sheep, dog and cat whisperer 🐑🐶🐱 Being around so many different animals from a young age taught me that they all have their own personalities, boundaries and ways of communicating. Back home, I have a four-year-old Mongolian Bankhar named Nyangar. His Mongolian name means “bright,” because he really did bring so much brightness into our family ✨ He’s a very big, fluffy dog with an even bigger personality, so I’m very comfortable around large dogs and definitely not intimidated by their size or strength. More recently, my family also adopted a beautiful long-haired silver shaded cat who had been abandoned by his previous owner. Having his in our family has given me even more experience with cats and made me appreciate just how different their personalities can be 🤍 When I look after an animal, my priority is always making sure they feel safe, relaxed and comfortable with me. I genuinely enjoy getting to know their little habits and personalities, whether that means going for walks, playing together, giving them attention, or simply giving them space when that’s what they prefer. Since moving to the Netherlands, I really miss having animals around me, so I’d love to make some more furry friends here and hopefully look after them regularly 🥹 I’ve even somehow become friends with quite a few neighborhood cats around my home — Pablo, Becky, Moses and a few others already know me 😂 When I was still living back home, I regularly looked after Molly, a lovely dog, and Mimi, a little cat, whenever their owners were away. Over time, I got to know them really well, including their different routines, little habits and personalities 🐶🐱Their family later moved to Norway, and this summer I actually travelled there specifically to look after Molly and Mimi again while their owners were away. I stayed with them for a month, keeping them company and making sure they were happy and well cared for. It was honestly such a lovely experience 🥹🤍 For me, pet sitting isn’t just about keeping an animal company while their human is away. I started dog sitting for my neighbor first and then discovered this page. Love going on walks and play outside with them. I have some experience with mostly small dogs. I’m aware that every dog have different needs and I’m willing to take good care of them and follow any instructions needed.
