Dagen en tijden van uitlaten of oppassen gaan in overleg. Ik kan helaas geen oppas bieden voor een vakantie van een week of meer ivm mijn werk. Thuisoppas is ook mogelijk. Please note that my apartment is on the second floor and is only accessible via a fairly steep staircase. To protect dogs' backs, I always carry them up and down the stairs. For this reason, I can comfortably host small dogs (up to around 10 kg), but unfortunately I'm not able to accommodate larger dogs. Wij zijn zeer tevreden met hoe Tim onze Eliá uitgelaten heeft. Eliá is normaliter (Waarschijnlijk door traumatische ervaringen met mannen in het verleden) nogal terughoudend naar mannen toe. Echter bij Tim wilde ze knuffelen en als ik zijn naam maar noemde stond ze al klaar met een groet helicopter staart te zwiepen :slight_smile:. Ze vond het een feestje. Als we Tim in de toekomst nodig hebben, zullen we zeker contact met hem opnemen en we raden dan ook iedereen aan om hem te boeken. Hartelijk dank Tim.

Sinds kinds af aan, heb ik altijd voor buren en vrienden honden uitgelaten of opgepast. Nu pas ik regelmatig op de golden retriever van een familielid, vaak meerdere dagen achter elkaar. Ik werk regelmatig vanuit huis, waardoor ik veel flexibiliteit heb om tijdens de lunch lekker te wandelen in het Haagse Bos of Clingendael. We arrived in the area almost 3 years ago. We work full-time, with flexibility to go to the office or stay at home. Furthermore, we are calm and friendly, love walking around and getting some fresh air! We live in a second floor, which means that there are stairs to come home. We might do all possible in our hands to accommodate the needs of your dog, but please, bear in mind that for safety reasons, dogs above 10 kg either they have a dog carry slings or they should come upstairs by themselves. For Boarding/Logeren - my partner and me usually spent quite some time at home during week days, but on the weekends we like to spend some time outside. We are happy to bring the dog with us if we go out around the city/beach/park. However, please, bear in mind that we do sports on regular basis and unfortunately, most dogs get stressed in paddel courts so we will not be able to bring them with us. For that reason, we only accept dogs that can be alone at home for 2-3 in case we need to leave the house, which might not be every day, but sometimes a week. Please, when you reach out to us, explain if this is possible with your dog, if it's not possible we might need to review the service fee and whether if we would be able to accept it - based on our commitments. If this is the first time you reach out to us, please bear in mind that we need to get to know your pet properly before we can confirm a booking of more than 1 day. Daarom neem ik de tijd om een band op te bouwen en pas ik mijn aanpak aan op het karakter en de behoeften van het dier. Naast de dagelijkse verzorging heb ik ook ervaring met kammen en het toedienen van medicijnen als dat nodig is. Omdat ik regelmatig van huis ben, kan ik zelf momenteel geen huisdieren hebben. Juist daarom geniet ik extra van de momenten waarop ik vrij ben of thuis werk en voor de dieren van anderen mag zorgen. Ik behandel ieder huisdier alsof het mijn eigen dier is, met veel aandacht, geduld en liefde. Ik pas met veel plezier op zowel katten als honden van alle leeftijden. Rustige honden, senioren en katten voelen zich vaak snel op hun gemak bij mij, maar ook actieve en speelse dieren zijn van harte welkom, zolang hun behoeften duidelijk worden besproken. Kleine diertjes zoals hamsters en cavia's kunnen ook bij mij terecht! Alleen met puppy's heb ik weinig ervaring, dus die liever niet. Goede communicatie met de eigenaar vind ik belangrijk, zodat ik de verzorging zoveel mogelijk kan voortzetten zoals het dier gewend is.

Ervaren dierenvrienden Rond De Energiecentrale

Wij zijn Nikki en Justus. Allebei zijn wij 28 en wonen en werken in Den Haag. Wij zijn ruim 8 jaar samen en hebben ons hele leven al huisdieren gehad. Toevallig zijn wij beide opgegroeid met Canadese Herders, dus we zijn wel wat gewend. Verder hebben wij ruime ervaring met het oppassen op een hoop verschillende honden door jaren lang Petbnb oppasser te zijn. Justus werkt vaak ‘s ochtends en ‘s middags en kan daarom de hond lekker vroeg uitlaten. Nikki werkt voornamelijk thuis en kan daarom makkelijk tussendoor de middag wandelingen doen. Wij hebben geen tuin, wel een balkon. Onze voordeur is op twee hoog en te bereiken door twee trappen. De honden die bij ons blijven moeten dus wel trap kunnen lopen, of het niet erg vinden om opgetild te worden. Graag passen wij op honden die voor een of meerdere dagen bij ons blijven. Zo past het huisdier perfect in ons leven en krijgt het alle aandacht dat het beestje verdient.

I hate to sound like a broken record here but I can't stress how amazing it is to be able to leave your beloved pet and not have a single worry about their care while you have to travel. Ranger stayed with Justus and Nikki again and we couldn't be more happy with the love and care he gets while with them.

Voor honden die van rust houden

In 2020 adopteerde ik mijn lieve, wat onzekere River, uit Roemenië. Een middelgrote kruising die mensen vaak op een klein herdertje vinden lijken. Sinds 2023 woon ik in een parterrewoning met fijne tuin. Ik vind het leuk om zo af en toe op honden te passen en tegelijkertijd een beetje gezelschap voor River te hebben. Ik ben Zzper en werk veel thuis. Maar voor vaste wekelijkse opvang ben ik niet beschikbaar Behalve River en ik zijn er geen andere bewoners. Dat maakt het lekker rustig. River kan nog behoorlijk speels en energiek zijn, maar in huis is ze tevreden in haar mandje. De tuin is helemaal afgesloten met schuttingen en muren. Ik heb de afgelopen vier jaar veel gelezen en filmpjes gekeken over het begeleiden van honden met onzeker gedrag en ook een coachingstraject gehad met River. Ik geloof in de BAT-theorie (behavior adjustment) die uitgaat van goed gedrag stimuleren en ik volgde de online cursus Trust Technique. Ik geloof niet in dominantie en wil voor de hond de betrouwbare leider/coach zijn. Ik ben benieuwd om jouw hond te leren kennen. Voor een eerste keer maak ik graag een kennismakingsafspraak. Let op: - de agenda staat open voor twee honden per keer. Dat doe ik echter alleen als ik de honden ken en weet dat het om makkelijke honden gaat. Voor River zijn dat al snel teveel prikkels. - voor vakanties ben ik in principe niet beschikbaar. Mocht je op korte termijn oppas nodig hebben voor een weekend of langer, dan kun je altijd even een berichtje sturen. Dan kan ik kijken of er toch iets mogelijk is.
