Plusha had a great time this summer staying with Maria & Pedro for 10 days. They have an adorable rescue of their own and therefore were well equipped to take care of Plusha. They maintained regular communication and I could see Plusha having a great vacation with them and enjoying the company of their dog. The neighbourhood is also great for dogs as there are lots of walking areas around . I would sudden then highly, and I am sure Plusha would love to visit them again.

Sinds jongs af aan heb ik veel honden in huis gehad. Het waren voornamelijk honden die gered werden van de armoedige straten in Egypte. Making your dog happy makes me happy - win / win!

Since leaving my parents place when I was 18, I have been craving to be able to take care of dogs. During my whole childhood I grew up around (big) dogs at my grandparent's house as well as at my home. My grandpa taught me the do's and don'ts and how to train them and I would regularly take care of their dogs as well as the dogs of family friends. From age 10 to 18 we also had a male German Sheppard at home who I always felt was my "bear" brother. I'm definitely the kind of guy who will stop in the middle of the street to chat with someone about their dog and ask if I can pet him/her. I'm not afraid of any type of dog and feel confident being able to impose myself when needed while remaining calm and respectful. I'm a sporty guy who goes outside a lot and likes to go for long walks in nature or a run - also with my friends or my girlfriend. I could play with dogs for hours. I currently live on the top floor of a spacious flat with rooftop in Oud West near most of the big parks including Westerpark, Rembrandtpark, Erasmuspark and Vondelpark. Regarding the prices and hours, I'm quite flexible and happy to discuss them with you as for me this is really more of a pleasure than a side job. I currently work at New Balance and am flexible to work from home whenever I want and to structure my days to my needs. Ervaren en zorgzame hondenoppas🐾🐶

Hi lieve allemaal, ik ben Isa! Van jongs af aan ben ik thuis met honden opgegroeid. Op mijn 10e verjaardag kreeg ik mijn eerste eigen hond, een Duitse herder pup. Waar ik jarenlang veel plezier en liefde mee heb gedeeld. Wij hebben vroeger ook 2 Amerikaanse bulldogs gehad en een New Foundlander. Toen ik op mezelf ging wonen had ik mijn eerste kleine chihuahua hondje gekocht, waar ik met veel liefde en mooie herinneringen op terugkijk. Ik heb meerdere honden en gedragscursussen gevolgd. Daarnaast heb ik een half jaar gewerkt bij de honden daycare van mijn zus. Daar heb ik ook ervaring opgedaan met verschillende rassen, van kleine tot grote honden. Sinds ik voor mezelf ben begonnen met oppassen heb ik al op veel leuke en lieve hondjes mogen passen. Hierdoor heb ik brede ervaring opgebouwd met uiteenlopende hondenkarakters en behoeften. Omdat ik momenteel veel tijd heb, leek het mij leuk om als hondenoppas aan de slag te gaan via Petbnb. Ik werk vanuit huis, waardoor ik vaak thuis ben. Ik ben energiek en vind het leuk om te wandelen en met dieren om te gaan. Ik heb veel geduld, begrip en vooral genoeg tijd en liefde om te bieden. Ik ben dol op echte knuffelkonten 🐶 Het is fijn om baasjes een gerust gevoel te geven wanneer zij hun hond bij mij achterlaten, terwijl ik er met veel plezier en liefde voor zorg 🐾 Sinds een jaar heb ik zelf ook weer een klein hondje (toypoedel) genaamd Murphy. Hij vindt het superleuk om andere hondjes te ontmoeten en te spelen 🐶 Hij is lief en speels, maar respecteert ook honden die liever wat meer op zichzelf zijn en laat ze dan met rust 😊 Murphy weegt ongeveer 3 kilo, daarom neem ik in huis alleen kleine honden aan (tot ongeveer 15 kg) die goed met andere honden overweg kunnen. Voor uitlaatservice of huisbezoeken bij de eigenaar thuis ben ik ook beschikbaar voor grotere honden. Wij gaan regelmatig naar het strand en maken ook leuke boswandelingen. Ik heb een ruim balkon, gemaakt zoals een smal tuintje die volledig veilig en dicht is. De gehele week ben ik beschikbaar om op jouw lieve viervoeter te passen en te vertroetelen! En uiteraard ontvang je elke de dag de leukste foto’s en updates van jouw lieverd tijdens een verblijf bij mij🐕🌸 Oppassen in de avonduren is ook mogelijk tot maximaal 22:00. Na 19:00 geldt een avondtoeslag van €2,50 per uur. Na 22:00 uur is opvang niet mogelijk, een overnachting is dan een optie😊 Voor een eerste ontmoeting, meer informatie en/of vragen kan je mij altijd een berichtje sturen. Na opgegroeid te zijn met katten begon ik op mijn 13e al mijn eerste honden uitlaatservice voor familie en kennissen. Zo was ik twee jaar lang de vaste oppas voor Beer (kruising). Inmiddels heb ik ruime ervaring met verschillende (kleine en middelgrote) rassen en heb ik een aantal terugkerende oppashondjes. Ik woon in een appartementje aan de rand van het centrum van de stad en kijk tijdens het oppassen altijd uit naar de spelen, knuffelen en de wandelingen naar bijvoorbeeld Bilderdijkpark of Geuzekade. Indien de gasthond houdt van spelen met andere honden heb ik voldoende vrienden met honden die graag een playdate inplannen. Hierbij laten we al-tijd(!) de honden eerst op een veilige manier kennismaken. Ik ben een betrouwbare oppas die haar thuiswerk dagen en vrije tijd gemakkelijk kan aanpassen naar de routine van een gasthond. Verwacht regelmatig updates (met foto’s) gedurende het verblijf van jouw hondje. Note: In verband met mijn relatief kleine appartement op 1-hoog pas ik enkel op kleine en middelgrote rassen die zindelijk zijn.

This is my second time using Danielle, and again she is the BEST dog sitter there is. She has a stash of dog toys and treats at her house that she greets your pet with to make them feel comfortable immediately. She consistently sends pictures/updates of your pup- which is something I love. I honestly think my dog may *almost* prefer her over me.

Meeting your pet’s needs with empathy and care

I have been a dog owner myself, as well as I have volunteered in an animal shelter for 2 years, so I am incredibly fond of dogs, cats and all other kinds of pets. As I am now a student who has moved away from home (so away from my family pets as well), I miss having animals around a lot. Additionally, since I’ve encountered all sorts pets in all sorts of states and traits, I take the time to introduce myself first, figure out the animal’s needs and only then move further with the care. I have 7 years of experience in taking care of dogs and cats, including the experience at the shelter. I have no preference for pets I sit, as well as I am rather flexible with my schedule - I can be available mornings, afternoons and evenings. I am a loving, gentle and caring sitter, described as "the one that has a way with animals." I find walking and/or sitting them genuinely pleasurable, so I always try to make the visits as warm as possible. Nonetheless, I am aware of the responsibility such care entails and make sure to do everything in my power to avoid any kind of negligence. When petsitting/boarding, I send regular photo updates, don’t leave the animals alone (unless allowed), walk them 3x a day and let them wander freely but safely around the apartment. I walk them regularly to provide toilet breaks as needed, but in cases of little accidents inside the apartment, I make sure to clean it up and generally to keep the pets in safe and higienic conditions. In addition to the > 15 minute walks, pets receive plenty of play time to fulfil their physical activity needs. I remain in consistent communication with the owners and feed/walk/provide medication/etc as instructed by the owners. I also spoil the pets with snacks, if allowed:) Fresh water is always available, as well food is provided as required by the owners. I try to stick to petsitting one animal at a time due to the stress different pets may cause to each other, but if allowed by the owners, I am always happy to sit a few animals at once. In case of an emergency, I will bring the pets to the vet or act in any other required manner as indicated by the owners. When dog walking, I take at least 30 minutes, keep my copy of the key safely, always check if everything is secured before leaving, dress the pet in provided attire if needed, carry the pets up/down the stairs if needed as well. During house visits, I spend at least an hour with the pets, playing with them and making sure they’re fed, walked and happy. I am also happy to house sit if that is preferred by the owners. If agreed in accordance with my schedule, I can house sit for an indefinite time. When house sitting, I always double check if everything is locked/turned off before leaving and/or night time. According to my regular clients, their pets are always excited to come back to my place - hope that would be the case with your pets as well:)

But I would say I rather feel more comfortable with the small and medium dogs. Since my schedule currently involves only work in an office for some days a week - for a start I would love to just go for a (long) walks or take care of them for a whole day, when I have days off.
