Daarnaast ben ik een echte buitenmens: we gaan minstens 3x per dag naar buiten, en als het kan trekken we naar het strand of het Amsterdamse Bos waar honden heerlijk los kunnen. Ik pas me volledig aan de routine en wensen van jou en jouw hond aan, zo voelt hij of zij zich zo snel mogelijk thuis. Ik ben opgegroeid met honden en heb ervaring met allerlei rassen, leeftijden en karakters: van geadopteerde woestijnhonden tot energieke Jack Russells en dwergteckels. Ik heb ook puppyervaring en heb verschillende cursussen gevolgd. Bij noodgevallen ben ik altijd bereikbaar. Als ervaren hondenbezitter heb ik jarenlang met veel plezier een Oud-Duitse Herder en een Berner Sennen gehad. Hierbij heb ik zelf de volledige opvoeding gedaan en ben daardoor goed bekend met het gedrag, de behoeften en de kracht van grote honden. Overigens zijn kleine honden ook welkom. Hello from a local dog lover and enthusiast! I have loved dogs for all of my life, and had my own (Captain, a rescued mutt) since I was 12 years old. Although I've only sporadically had a dog in my own vicinity since then, I spent a few months dog-sitting a doberman during a workaway two years ago, and spent this summer on a husky kennel in Tana, Norway caring for and doing the daily routines of 47 huskies (including 4 puppies and 11 yearlings). My experience with dogs I would consider wide-ranging, and I am so happy to hang out with dogs as it really brings me the greatest joy. I have a cosy and relatively large flat which I share with my roommate who is a horseback-rider and fellow animal lover and enthusiast. This means that your pooch will get a 2-for-1 deal and friend in us both (although the dog would be my responsibility and remain in my space mostly). However, as there are two of us, and I live in a building with many friends nearby, the dog will rarely, if ever, be left alone. I am a student with a schedule that is heavy on Mondays and Thursdays, with the other days all 'off' (and a 3 hour course on Wednesdays), meaning I have plenty of free time to watch after and hang out with a canine companion. Additionally, there is always someone nearby should there be an emergency that needs tending to, and my uni is a 6 minute walk from the flat, for extra insurance.

Ook lijkt het me leuk om thuis langs te komen en nieuwe omgevingen te ontdekken samen met uw hondje. Zoekt u een oppas die dol is op honden met heel haar hart? Our dog, Rebecca, was with Esmee for 11 days. We were so happy to see that "Becca" was having good time playing and enjoying parks and outise areas. We could see that with the photos and videos that Esmee sent to us daily. That's made us more reliefe because we could see her happy everyday. We absolutely recommend Esmee to take care of your pet and for for we will contact her again. Apart of that, of course, Esmee is such a nice girl, super comunicative.
