Iris looked after our two dogs, Maggie and Britian, while we were away on holiday, and she was absolutely wonderful. One of our dogs is unwell and required special care and close, watchful attention, and Iris handled this with incredible care, calmness, and responsibility. Both dogs clearly adored her — they were happy, relaxed, and very well cared for when we returned. She walked them twice a day, kept us updated with regular messages and photos, and it was incredibly reassuring to see how attentive and thoughtful she was throughout our time away. On top of that, we came home to a clean and well-looked-after house. Iris is caring, reliable, and genuinely kind, and we felt completely at ease knowing our dogs and home were in such good hands. Hello! I'm a dedicated animal lover who grew up in a house full of dogs and cats. At my family home, we always had at least 2 dogs, and I've lived with 3 dogs in total. I've always been a "dog person" through and through. I have experience with dogs of all sizes - from small breeds like Coton de Tuléar to larger breeds such as Old English Sheepdogs and Bernese Mountain Dogs. The dogs at our home were rescued from bad owners and traumatic circumstances, so I understand how to work with more challenging animals who struggle with trust. I know that patience, consistency, and gentle care can make all the difference for dogs who've had difficult pasts. Back in Poland, I also did pet sitting for friends and family, so I'm comfortable taking care of dogs who aren't my own and adapting to their specific routines and needs. Since I currently can't have a dog of my own, I would love to help others care for their four-legged friends. I understand how important it is to leave your pet in good hands, and I promise to give them the same love and attention I would give my own dogs. Whether it's energetic walks, playtime, or just cozying up on the couch - I adapt to what your dog needs. A small note: I'm still learning Dutch (B1 level), but I speak fluent English and Polish. Ik ben een toegewijde dierenliefhebber die is opgegroeid in een huis vol met honden en katten. Bij mijn familie thuis hadden we altijd minimaal 2 honden, en in totaal heb ik met 3 honden samengewoond. Ik ben altijd een echte "hondenmens" geweest. Ik heb ervaring met honden van alle maten - van kleine rassen zoals Coton de Tuléar tot grotere rassen zoals Old English Sheepdogs en Berner Sennenhonden. De honden bij ons thuis waren gered van slechte eigenaren en traumatische omstandigheden, dus ik begrijp hoe je met meer uitdagende dieren kunt werken die moeite hebben met vertrouwen. Ik weet dat geduld, consistentie en zachte zorg een groot verschil kunnen maken voor honden die een moeilijk verleden hebben gehad. In Polen deed ik ook aan hondenopvang voor vrienden en familie, dus ik voel me comfortabel om voor honden te zorgen die niet van mij zijn en me aan te passen aan hun specifieke routines en behoeften. Omdat ik momenteel geen eigen hond kan hebben, wil ik graag anderen helpen met de zorg voor hun viervoeters. Ik begrijp hoe belangrijk het is om je huisdier in goede handen achter te laten, en ik beloof dezelfde liefde en aandacht te geven die ik aan mijn eigen honden zou geven. Of het nu gaat om energieke wandelingen, speeltijd, of gewoon gezellig op de bank liggen - ik pas me aan bij wat jouw hond nodig heeft. Een kleine opmerking: ik ben nog Nederlands aan het leren (B1 niveau), maar ik spreek vloeiend Engels en Pools. Ik doe mijn best om in het Nederlands te communiceren, maar voor belangrijke details kunnen we altijd naar Engels overschakelen. Ik kijk ernaar uit om jullie trouwe vriend(en) te ontmoeten!

hoi! mijn naam is Estelle, 20 jaar, een echte dierenliefhebster die al haar hele leven dieren om haar heen heeft gehad. ik heb zelf een hond genaamd Bowie die bij mijn moeder woont (is ongelukkig in Amsterdam, mijn moeder woont in een dorp aan een park) en heb paarden. Mijn hele leven heb ik rond honden, katten en paarden geleefd en heb ik veel ervaring met verschillende type dieren (ook kwa gedrag). ik ben niet snel bang en sta sterk in mijn schoenen, daarnaast heb ik veel verantwoordelijksgevoel. ik woon op 1 hoog op loopafstand van het Erasmus park en doe een grote wandeling om de 2 a 3 uur (verschilt uiteraard ook per behoefte van hond). mocht je meer informatie willen, stuur gerust een berichtje! ik ben kwa breng en ophaal tijden erg flexibel.

A couple, want to practise before adopting a dog

We are a young French couple (Thomas & Agathe), we live in 100m2 apartments, we want to practice having a dog at home before adopting one in the future. We both love animals, we are both working 50% remote, and live in an area with big green spaces around for walks (Osdorpplein, Sloterpark). We look forward to keep and walk your loved ones! We both have lived younger with animals (cats and dogs), and we are used to lived with. We started to do dogsitting in Amsterdam last year on PetBnb, and we like to do it together as a « couple activity »!

They have patience, understanding and willingness to know about the dog's behaviour and his everyday schedule. Meet and greet went smoothly. They were listening each and everything instruction very well and asking relevant questions. They provided photos and updates everyday and were responding to the messages regularly. This made us stress free and we could enjoy our holiday perfectly well. Our doggie felt comfortable with them. When we picked him up we could see that he has a nice stay with them as he was looking happy and relaxed. Hallo daar! Ik ben Celine en 30 jaar oud. Ik ben oprecht een hondenliefhebber. Mijn hele leven ben ik al met honden geweest en ik heb veel ervaring met het oppassen op honden; ik heb vrijwel elk ras wel een keer gehad. Daarnaast heeft mijn zus een eigen hondenuitlaatservice, waar ik regelmatig mee ga en veel van honden heb mogen leren, doordat zij hiervoor is opgeleid. In de toekomst zal ik hoogstwaarschijnlijk onderdeel worden van haar bedrijf, omdat ik een sterke band heb met honden en goed weet hoe ik met ze om moet gaan. Honden geven mij energie en vreugde. Ik weet hun behoeften goed aan te voelen en bouw gemakkelijk een connectie met ze op. Ik ben een sportief type dat houdt van veel wandelen, en mijn wandelingen vind ik nog tien keer leuker met een hondje erbij. Ik werk en studeer veel vanuit huis, waardoor ik veel tijd heb om met honden te zijn en jouw hond 24/7 bij mij is en mijn volledige aandacht krijgt. De hond wordt bij mij standaard drie tot vier keer per dag uitgelaten. Bij een overnachting is dat vaak vijf keer. Tijdens de grote middagwandeling probeer ik altijd minimaal 40 minuten te lopen met jouw hond. Ik woon vlakbij leuke wandel gelegenheden en ga ook vaak naar het Groenendaalse bos, dus jouw hond wordt daar ook standaard lekker uitgelaten. Bij een overnachting mag de hond in de woonkamer of in de slaapkamer slapen. Welke van de twee maakt voor mij niet uit; ik vind het belangrijk dat jouw hond zich op zijn of haar gemak voelt. Verder woon ik in een ruim appartement, omringd door groen. Ik hoop dat ik je met deze achtergrondinformatie een goed gevoel heb gegeven en vertrouwen dat jouw hond bij mij in goede handen is en dat mijn volle aandacht altijd op jouw hond gericht is als hij of zij bij mij op bezoek komt. :) Ik zou graag kennis willen maken! I grew up with my dog named Taotao (a very naughty dog) and have been very comfortable with dogs. I am also always the go-to-friend for dog sitting whenever my friends go on vacation. So I have experience dealing dogs with different personalities. My home is very safe and calm, with plenty of greens outside. So they get plenty of play time and potty breaks. If you have a anxious or sensitive dog, don’t worry. I would not force them to settle in and let them adjust at their own space instead. I’ll be there whenever they need me. If your dog is more active, I’m happy to play and engage with them. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and making them feel comfortable and at ease. I’ll send you lots of updates so you always know how your dog is doing, walks, meals, playtime. I love taking funny-angle pictures of dogs, so you’ll probably receive a few memes during their stay too. I understand the level of trust it takes for you to let someone else take care of your dog, I’d be so worried if it was my dog. So I’ll do my best to make the whole experience stress-free for both you and your dogs! 🥰

Oppas voor hypo allergene hond!

Hallo!! Deze hondenliefhebbers helpen graag baasjes in de buurt als oppas! Vroeger hebben we beiden als kinderen altijd honden gehad, maar helaas ben ik allergisch.. ondanks dat vind ik honden geweldig en kan ik goed met ze opschieten. Alle hypo-allergene rassen zijn bij ons dus welkom voor oppas dagjes of iets langere periodes! We kunnen doordeweeks dan wel proberen om thuis te werken. We lopen graag flinke stukjes zeker drie keer op een dag bij bezoek. In de weekenden staat een lange wandeling in een natuurgebied dan ook zeker op de lijst! Hondenliefhebbers zonder hond die graag oppassen!

Hi! Wij wonen met zijn tweetjes in een beganegrond appartement in amsterdam west en passen graag af en toe een dagje, weekend, of langer op! We zijn opgegroeid met honden en katten en hebben op dit moment één britse korthaar kat thuis (die goed met honden omgaat. Of liever gezegd, onverschillig is richting honden). We willen op een gegeven moment zelf heel graag een hond (Samoyed, Golden Retriever, Australian shepherd, Goldendoodle, of een soortgelijke middelgrote-grote sociale hond) maar op dit moment past dit niet in onze levensstijl (we zijn vaak op reis) dus daarom lijkt het ons heel leuk om voor nu af en toe op deze lieve diertjes te passen! We hebben een ruim huis met (voor amsterdamse begrippen) een ruime groene tuin.
