I have had dogs my whole life, they were my whole life. I moved from the English countryside to Amsterdam. It is now more difficult for me to commit to owning a dog full time. So, what better way than to spread my love for dogs, with all the dogs out there that need a new friend. Whether that is for a walk, a night, a weekend stay or a week. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing dogs live their best life. I now live looking over a huge park, watching the dogs run around makes me miss spending time with my pups. I work from home, meaning I am available for all your dogs needs and am able to take them for long walks, if thats what they like in the dog friendly park. If that's not what your pup prefers and they just like to chill in the sun chewing on some watermelon, that's also great for me. I want them to enjoy being here as much as I enjoy having them.

We left Luna for the first time and were very worried at first. But all our worries disappeared when we met Jadina and her partner! They are so kind and took amazing care of Luna. They kept sending us pictures every day, so we knew she was doing well. We were so happy that Luna was with them, and we’ll definitely leave her with them again next time we’re away :)

Groot, middel of klein, ik vind elk dier fijn!

Altijd heb ik gewoond met katten en/of honden, sinds kort is dit helaas niet meer zo. Ik woon nu in een te klein huis. Ik mis hun gezelschap en daarom wil ik graag gaan oppassen! Ik heb een energieke en vrolijke persoonlijkheid, ik hou van buiten zijn (zelfs als het regent of sneeuwt) en ben op mijn gelukkigst in het gezelschap van een (huis)dier. De laatste jaren heb ik twee katten gehad; Bowie en Karel. Karel is heel actief en houdt van gezelschap, Bowie is wat meer op zichzelf. Het verschil in wat zij nodig hebben is groot, en altijd iets waar ik rekening mee heb gehouden. Bij mijn ouders had ik een hond en kat. Onze hond, Sep, was een Tibetaanse terrier die gered was van een fokker. Hij kon erg agressief zijn naar andere honden, wat voor mij betekende dat ik rustig moest blijven en hem moest kalmeren of omlopen wanneer andere honden in de buurt kwamen. Onze kat was liever buiten dan binnen en kwam soms thuis voor eten of knuffels, maar wel alleen op zijn voorwaarde. Hier heb ik geleerd zijn gedrag te begrijpen en mijn eigen behoeften aan de kant te zetten voor zijn welzijn. Op dit moment heb ik veel tijd en ben ik erg flexibel, elk dier is welkom bij mij!

I have a few spots during the week available for your pet! My Partner and me have always had a lot of animals growing up and we continued that trend in our own home. Unfortunately we found ourselves now without a furry friend to come home to. As we love animals, tired dogs especially, we decided to become petsitters for now and channel all that loving energy towards your pets! We have a lot of experience with dogs and cats as we have fostered dogs but also had our own dogs! We used to be the parents of a rescue Pitmix from Spain, who we managed to turn from a rascal to a fullblown cuddlebug. We do not discriminate when it comes to breeds and would love to care for your baby even if they might not have had the best start in life. Untill not too long we were using the services on Petbnb for our own dog, therefore we totally understand how scary it can be to leave your baby with a sitter and also what is expected of us to make it enjoyable for everyone. We love to give frequent updates/pictures to share how your pet is doing. Now for the house, we have an enclosed garden with a seperate entrance, so muddy paws are no issue! We have sun from 12:00 to 19:00, so most lazy dogs usually choose to follow the sun throughout the day in our garden. On top of that we live right next to Rembrandpark and always do a big lap per day. Our normal schedule is a walk at 9:00 and a walk at 15:00. I am also a keen and enthusiastic cuddler of all cute animals- a service I can provide at no additional cost to you. We'll make sure to treat everyone like we would our own and make it so they'll feel at home <3 Services: -Boarding and House Sitting: I would be available between the hours of 16.00-10.00am and the rate is per night. -Day care: Includes one 45 minute - 1 hour long walk and a pee break. Hours would be between Additionally walks, runs, or hikes in Oeverlanden or Amsterdamse Bos can be discussed upon request as I do have a pooch mobile. -Walks: My walk rates are based on 45 minute sessions. Be mindful that I live right next to an off leash dog park, therefore this might not be the best place to stay for your dog if they are leash/dog reative. Anastasia was in our home for 10 days with our dog Koekie. She was the most loving and kind friend for our furbaby. We got updates and pictures or videos daily. Our dog really had such a good time with her, their energy really matched so well. We saw her multiple times before we went away. Ik word blij van blije huisdieren

Ik ben gek op dieren en pas graag op. Als kind hadden wij thuis katten en honden, nu heb ikzelf thuis een poes. Tijdens mijn studie heb ik jarenlang op een bange Vizsla gepast, die na twee keer langskomen me toch helemaal vertrouwde en door het dolle ging van blijdschap als ik aankwam. Ik maakte ook veel lange wandelingen met hem, in alle soorten weer. Dat vond ik hartstikke leuk en zou ik graag weer doen. We love dogs since we were little. We always had pets and were taught to not only give them love, but also take care of them, give attention and enjoy time shared. We make sure they get all the necessary attention, love, entertainment & care. We try to adapt to what they like. If it’s an active dog we don’t hesitate on take them to a park, play togheter, have a walk and dedicate the time they are used to so they feel comfortable. Ik word blij van blije honden!

Het leukste aan honden vind ik de blijheid als je thuiskomt! Lekker even knuffelen en daarna wandelen in de buitenlucht. Mijn hond weet altijd meteen waar hij naartoe wil lopen en gaat overal enthousiast snuffelend heen, maar ook rustigere honden die even moeten wennen vind ik lieverds. Ik weet hoe fijn het is als je weet dat je hond niet al te lang alleen thuis is. Ik kijk het liefst samen met de hond (of door naar de hond te kijken) wat het leukste is voor ons om te doen. Zo weet ik bijvoorbeeld dat mijn hond het liefst buiten zijn eten eet, komt zelf knuffels halen als hij dat wil, houdt van ballen gooien en vooral van rondsnuffelen. Oppas die veel liefde te geven heeft

Ik ben vaak liever omringd door dieren dan door mensen. Waarom? Door de onvoorwaardelijke liefde en enthousiasme die ze brengen. Ik wandel veel en neem graag een hond mee. Ik zou het liefst een hond hebben, maar door mijn huidige leven is dat lastig. Ik werk 3 dagen per week vanuit kantoor en ik woon alleen. Mijn hond zou dus vaker alleen zijn en dat vind ik niet oké. Toch mis ik het heel erg om me heen. Ik ben namelijk opgegroeid met honden om me heen. Door voor andere honden te kunnen zorgen voelt het toch alsof ik er zelf een heb. Vrienden hebben ook honden en daar zorg ik graag voor. Ik heb ervaring met kleine en grote honden. Mijn ouders hebben een teckel. Vrienden hebben een Weimaraner, een vuilnisbakras uit Griekenland, een rottweiler en een Duitse herder. Ik pas ook vaker op de kat van een vriendin waar ik dan of slaap of langsga om even te knuffelen. Wat over mijn eigen hobbies; ik wandel graag en ben veel buiten. Ook sport ik vaak. Ik ben graag thuis waar ik alleen woon en hou van uitgebreid koken. Een hond zou hier rust vinden en zou veel liefde en aandacht krijgen. Het is voor mij niet mogelijk om een hond een langere periode achter elkaar in huis te geven, omdat ik ook vaak dagen weg ben. Dagopvang en een nachtje logeren kan natuurlijk wel. Ook zou ik wel een langere peride in het huis van het baasje kunnen verblijven.

Alle aandacht voor jouw hondje

Please read all the info below before making your booking! I have been around and taken care of dogs my entire life. We had two dogs when I was a child I was trusted taking care of and walk during my lunch breaks at school from a very young age. My family travelled a lot when I was young and wherever we went I would find packs of street dogs to play with, which now when I’m a parent sounds insane (and quite dangerous) but it very much shaped how I see and relate to dogs and taught me how to communicate, read body language and understand pack dynamic. I have adopted and fostered many dogs throughout my life, and have been watching and training dogs for friends and family over the years many times. Also very interested in dog psychology and behaviour in general, and their inner workings is a genuine interest for me. Dog sitting is my full time job, I’m very good at it and take it seriously. I usually spend most of my days outside with the dogs I have, it’s great for exercise and socialising and we all enjoy fresh air and sunshine. I also enjoy to bring them along for outings or other activities since I love the company. My kids are at school during the day so I have lots of time and I really enjoy walking and being outside so it’s absolutely not a chore. Different dogs have different needs of course and I do my best to accommodate that. I love biking with dogs since you can sort of “play run” together and it’s a great way to get a lot of exercise for high energy dogs, and even if a dog is not used to running next to a bike, most get the hang of it fast and I am of course very careful to make sure there’s no accidents. My house is also full of toys, activity puzzles and games, it’s important they get mental simulation as well physical. My kids are good and calm with animals, and love dogs so they are delighted about weekend stays but of course they don’t walk them and I generally don’t leave my kids alone with the dogs I host. Our cat Styx, a Maine Coon male, is raised around dogs and makes friends with most of them given a bit of time, even dogs that otherwise goes nuts when they see a cat outside! We live in a house with a lift so larger or older dogs doesn’t have to climb down stairs, the flat itself has three floors so easy and spacious with the cat living upstairs and visiting dogs downstairs. Some dogs I have regularly of course get upstairs privileges when we’re all comfortable together and maybe aren’t covered in mud! The size of the flat does also mean I can easily keep dogs and cats separated so there’s never been an issue in all the years I’ve been doing this. The downstairs floor is also large enough to keep dogs separated if necessary, I have lots of fences and baby gates I can set up. The terrace is great for fresh air and playtime. We also live very close to many green areas suitable for off leash walking, biking and swimming. I have experience with and really enjoy large dogs and don’t mind being out entire days with wolf/working breeds if they need it. My philosophy is that a dog that is provided a lot of exercise, play, boundaries, structure and a calm and assertive pack leader will be a happy and balanced one! Please note! -Do provide food, toys, chew bones, treats and toilet bags for your dogs visit. If requested I can provide this but will ask to be refunded for any additional expenses. I have lots of bowls, towels and beds etc so no need to bring that. -If your dog needs a lot of special attention, is not fully house trained or have a very labour intensive schedule you need to inform me of this in advance so we can discuss. Also if your dog can’t be together with other dogs or off leash I need to know before we finalise the booking. -I can’t accept dogs with severe behavioural problems or that barks a lot. If there are undisclosed issues like aggression, barking or destructive/unmanageable behaviour I reserve the right to terminate the booking and request you to find another arrangements for the rest of the stay, or I will ask an extra fee so be aware of this. Please don’t downplay issues since that will only cause trouble for everyone involved later on. -I will accept bookings for cats if they are spayed/neutered and very good with other cats, dogs and kids. Active, caring and happy to meet a new friend

When I lived in Spain, I volunteered at dog shelters, and while I was in Colombia, I was part of an association that fed stray dogs. I’m a fitness instructor at SportCity, so I’m naturally very active and enjoy movement and being outdoors. Sinds 2 jaar hebben wij zelf een Maltipoo teefje en vinden het leuk om af en toe op te passen op een extra hondje. Graag zou ik er een 2de hondje bij willen maar doordat onze Rosie niet naar elke oppas kan, is dat wat lastig. zij is een beetje bang voor sommige andere honden dus een kennismaking voor het oppassen js belangrijk! Vanaf kleins af aan ben ik met honden opgegroeid dus altijd een hondenliefhebber geweest. Onze voorkeur gaat uit naar een niet te grote hond en goed opgevoed/getraind omdat dit vaak het beste samen gaat met Rosie. Wij wonen in een ruitjeswoning met tuin en vlakbij het Darwinpark om lekker te kunnen wandelen.
