Luna heeft zich goed vermaakt. Ze was na het logeren bij Annelotte ook nog erg moe en heeft overdag nog heerlijk geslapen thuis wat Annelotte aan gaf dat ze vaak de bal moest gooien twijfel ik geen moment aan. Dankjewel voor het oppassen op Luna en het geduld wat je voor haar hebt gezien ze nog een zeer energieke pup is.

Als kind groeide ik op met een geweldig lieve labrador-retriever en recent was ik de trotse "dogmom" van een chihuahua met karakter. Op dit moment heb ik geen huisdieren en stel ik graag mijn huis en hart open om op uw hondje te passen. In ons huis wonen dus geen andere dieren (meer) maar wel 2 kinderen (11+) die gewend zijn aan het omgaan met een hond. Ik vind het belangrijk om goede instructies te krijgen zodat ik de best mogelijke zorg kan geven aan uw hondje. Ik laat de hond(jes) 3-4 keer per dag uit en respecteer graag instructies van het baasje zodat uw hond dezelfde liefde, aandacht en aanwijzingen krijgt als thuis. Bij ons is er bijna altijd iemand thuis. Lekker wandelen,spelen en knuffelen. Wij wonen vlakbij het bos. Laten we kennismaken en kijken of het klikt! Wandelen met honden geeft mij echt plezier en energie. Ik geniet ervan om buiten te zijn en te zien hoe een hondje bijvoorbeeld kan genieten van het strand, waar ik vlakbij woon. Mijn vriendinnen noemen me een dierenfluisteraar; dieren voelen zich snel op hun gemak bij mij. Of het nu gaat om een energieke wandeling (kort of lang), spelletjes in de tuin, knuffelen of gewoon gezelschap houden, ik doe alles met veel liefde en aandacht. Ik vind het heerlijk om een band op te bouwen met jouw hond en er samen een vrolijke, veilige en plezierige ervaring van te maken. Ik heb zelf een kat thuis, maar heb voldoende ervaring om dit goed te combineren met honden (mits het geen hondje is dat echt niet met katten kan). Ik heb veel opgepast op honden van vrienden en kennissen, en dat vind ik altijd geweldig. Ik begrijp hoe spannend het kan zijn om je hond aan iemand anders toe te vertrouwen. Daarom neem ik die verantwoordelijkheid altijd heel serieus. Ik respecteer alle afspraken, routines en aanwijzingen van het baasje; van voeding en wandelingen tot rustmomenten en regels in en buitenshuis. Met aandacht, liefde én zorgvuldigheid zorg ik ervoor dat zowel hond als baasje zich veilig en op hun gemak voelen. Schroom niet om me te benaderen met vragen!

Hondenliefend gezin zoekt logeerhond

Wij zijn een gezin van 4 (43,40,6,4) en gek op honden. De kinderen kennen alle honden uit de buurt - welke ze wel en niet mogen knuffelen- en zouden het liefst een eigen hond willen. Maar dat vinden wij nog een beetje veel verantwoordelijkheid met kleine kinderen. Dus op deze manier willen we ze kennis laten maken met een viervoeter in huis! We zijn zelf opgegroeid met honden en hebben jaren lang honden gehad. De laatste hond was er eentje met het zogenoemde 'rugzakje'. Een geweldige hond die we met veel liefde en geduld hebben getraind. Hele mooie ervaring, maar voor nu zouden we heel blij worden van een makkelijke, lieve en zachtaardige kindervriend die houdt van knuffelen, stoeien en wandelen. Er werkt altijd iemand thuis, zodat we in de middag tijdens de lunch een goede wandeling kunnen maken. Omdat we jonge kinderen hebben is er logischerwijs ook altijd iemand in de avonden thuis. We wonen in een bovenwoning, dus we weten dat we sommige honden de trap op moeten tillen. Geen probleem. We hebben een ruime woonkamer en een ruim balkon. Er is een groot park aan het einde van de straat. We hopen op deze manier iemand uit de buurt blij te maken met een oppasgezin en voor ons een eerste sprong in het hernieuwde huisdier leven!

Binnen ons gezin zijn wij allemaal hondenliefhebber, wij kunnen oppassen op honden en zijn erg flexibel. Ik werk veel thuis en de hond kan lekker vanuit het huis de tuin in en weer terug. In het verleden hadden wij honden die allebei ongeveer 16 jaar zijn geworden. Dit waren kruisingen en hadden wij uit het asiel gehaald. Blacky was een half jaar, en later hadden wij Jerry die een jaar of zeven was toen wij hem kregen. Wij passen nu graag op maar willen niet zelf meer een eigen hond. Onze oudere kinderen (13 en 18 jaar) vinden het ook fantastisch om te zorgen voor de loge.

While exact times for pick up/drop off are much appreciated (so I can schedule with the next pet owner) if there is flexibility from both sides it should all work out well. Daarnaast ben ik meerdere jaren actief geweest als hondenoppas en uitlaatservice in Den Haag en heb ik in die periode met heel veel plezier een groot aantal honden verzorgd, uitgelaten en bij mij laten logeren. Inmiddels pak ik het na een aantal jaar pauze weer kleinschalig op. Niet meer als fulltime opvang, maar juist persoonlijk en selectief: een paar fijne honden uit de buurt die goed bij mij én bij Arrow passen en gezellig met ons mee kunnen wandelen. Arrow is sociaal, rustig en gewend aan andere honden. Daarom vind ik het belangrijk dat er vooraf een goede kennismaking is en dat de honden onderling een fijne klik hebben. Mijn voorkeur gaat uit naar sociale teefjes en gecastreerde reuen. Iedere hond is natuurlijk anders, dus ik kijk vooral naar karakter, gedrag en wat voor iedereen prettig en veilig voelt. Naast Arrow woont ook mijn kleine kater kitten Tijger bij mij thuis. Tijger is van jongs af aan gewend aan honden en gaat daar heel ontspannen mee om. Voor gewone wandelingen speelt dit natuurlijk geen rol, maar bij eventuele opvang bij mij thuis is het belangrijk dat een hond goed en veilig met katten kan omgaan. Ook daarom maak ik vooraf graag kennis en kijk ik zorgvuldig of een hond bij onze kleine roedel en thuissituatie past. Ik wandel graag en uitgebreid en vind het belangrijk dat een hond onderweg niet alleen voldoende beweging krijgt, maar ook lekker mag snuffelen, ontdekken en gewoon hond kan zijn. Omdat ik het bewust kleinschalig houd, krijgt iedere hond bij mij veel persoonlijke aandacht. Naast mijn jarenlange praktijkervaring heb ik een dieren-EHBO-cursus gevolgd. Ook heb ik ervaring met honden die wat extra aandacht of een andere manier van communiceren nodig hebben; zo heb ik onder andere een dove hond opnieuw leren communiceren door middel van gebaren en lichaamstaal. Momenteel bied ik voornamelijk wandelingen aan in mijn eigen omgeving in Den Haag. Incidentele dag- of avondopvang is eventueel in overleg mogelijk, maar alleen wanneer een hond goed bij Arrow, Tijger en onze thuissituatie past. Een kennismaking vooraf vind ik altijd belangrijk — voor het baasje, voor mij, voor Arrow en natuurlijk vooral voor de hond.
