We love dogs of all sizes—small and large. Besides caring for animals, I am a professional musician. I have a diploma as a music teacher, orchestra artist, and ensemble performer. I also have three years of experience teaching music at a school, working with children aged 6 to 16. I come from a family of educators—my mother and grandmother were both teachers. I am currently learning Dutch, but for now, I can only speak English and Russian, and I understand some Dutch. Mike has had dogs since childhood. Not always, but during high seasons, we can have multiple guests, just like other pet sitters. However, all guest dogs here are friendly, sweet, and non-aggressive. Conflicts are not allowed, as we live in an apartment, and our neighbors wouldn’t be happy, haha. 2. Dogs can be separated—in different rooms or in the same room with a barrier, ensuring they have their privacy and rest from playing. It depends on each guest’s personality and needs. For example, if two dogs of similar age and size enjoy playing together, why should we stop them from having fun? (Of course, under my supervision!) But if your dog is older and needs more rest than a puppy, we will make sure they can relax away from younger dogs. Our main focus is your dog’s safety, health, and emotional well-being. 3. If you want your dog to become more social, this is the perfect environment! Your pet will be surrounded by friendly dogs who won’t react to irritation or grumpiness. Dogs learn from each other very quickly, becoming more social and overcoming past fears. 4. We live on the second floor. If your dog doesn’t know how to use stairs, you’ll be surprised at how quickly they learn from other dogs! Some even love running up and down, haha. 5. Our apartment is next to two beautiful parks—just a 1-minute walk away. We are also 10 minutes by car from the beach and another large park where dogs can run off-leash (unless they plan to swim!). Dog lover!

I am a freelance musician, flexible with my time. This job came out of a hobby and I cherish it a lot. I enjoy interactions with dogs and love to see them in their comfort spaces or running around. I have been working with rescue dogs as well as well-trained - all are welcome. I grew up at a place with many stray dogs. We were building houses and feeding them, playing, and naming places after them. I got my own dog more than 10 years ago, a Jack Russell terrier called Cora. Moving around I could not bring her with me to The Netherlands. Now, I am looking for all kinds of dog characters to meet and care for. I am currently living in a nice but small studio flat. I can accommodate only small dogs for in-house stays. But I live in an area with plenty of space for walking and parks for dogs only. Overnight stays are also possible given that I work from home a lot of the time and can be flexible.

Viktoria was again awesome, our 2 rescue beagles where very relaxed when we got back (so we don't think they missed us much). The house was perfectly taken care of by Viktoria who is very tidy. Communicatie is clear and regular (with pictures). So glad we found Viktoria and it is such a good match with our 2 beagle boys.

We love dogs and cats

I am originally from Ukraine, but because of the russian war, I currently live in the Hague with my nine-year-old daughter. She adores dogs and cats. I'm a vet, but I haven't worked as a vet since I had a daughter. In Ukraine, we have cats and a dog. They stayed with my mother at a safe place as far as possible. I helped Ukranian stray animals before the war and keep doing it now, at least financially. I will be happy to walk with your dog or take care of your dog or cat while you are away. We are living in a shelter for Ukrainians so I can't take the dogs there but I'm able to stay in your place. I will be happy to walk (30-60 min) with your dog in the morning, afternoon, or evening either one time or regularly. I can come to visit your cat 1-2 times per day (around 30 min).

Once again, Anna stepped in to save the day. This time, to watch Pinda for over two weeks on a day's notice as my wife and I had to suddenly travel for a family emergency. Thank you Anna as always for taking such good care of Pinda and our home!

Ervaren huisdierenoppas

Ik en mijn dochter Zoey passen graag op je huisdier! Ik ben zelf opgegroeid met katten en ik heb ze altijd heel leuk gevonden. Ik heb vaak gepast op katten en honden van anderen tijdens hun vakantie. Het is best spannend voor huisdieren als hun baasje weg is, en we zorgen voor rust en regelmaat voor de dieren, een vriendelijk gezicht die elke dag langs komt. We hebben thuis andere dieren, bijvoorbeeld knaagdieren, vogels, vissen en reptielen. We kunnen ook op deze dieren passen. Kleine dieren kunnen ook bij mij thuis als dat beter uitkomt. We passen op dieren in de buurt van Wassenaar.

Vind het leuk om een fijne wandeling op het strand of in het bos te maken. Qua afspreken/afspraken maken ben ik best flexibel. Stuur gerust een berichtje zodat we samen naar de mogelijkheden kunnen kijken. Jouw hond bij mij laten logeren, aantal uren oppassen, een klein stukje of juist een flinke wandeling. Er is genoeg mogelijk in overleg . Jouw hond zal in ieder geval niets te kort komen. In overleg met jou is er ook een “offerte” op maat mogelijk. Hoi! Ik pas regelmatig op honden van vrienden en vind het heerlijk om lange wandelingen te maken, te spelen (heb zelf ook veel energie) en simpele trucjes te oefenen. Doordeweeks werk ik in Rotterdam (ma, di, do – honden mogen mee!) en op woensdag en vrijdag geef ik les in Den Haag, dan kan er helaas geen hond mee. In het weekend kan ik vaak, en in vakantieperiodes (zoals nu!) ben ik een stuk flexibeler omdat ik niet voor de klas hoef te staan. Ik ben opgegroeid met katten, heb nu twee hele leuke konijnen, en word eigenlijk blij van bijna elk dier. Omdat ik nu nog geen hond kan nemen, vind ik het extra leuk om af en toe voor eentje te zorgen.

The first time Rosa watched Blue at her place and it went very well. For a day full of errands it was really helpful that she was able to puppy sit at our home. She is took nice walks with Blue and he was very happy throughout the day would definitely book again.

Ik woon vlakbij een groot park en loop dagelijks minimaal 12.000 stappen. Hierdoor kan ik actieve honden veel beweging, frisse lucht en aandacht geven. Maar minstens zo belangrijk vind ik dat iedere hond krijgt waar híj of zij gelukkig van wordt. Heeft jouw hond veel energie en speelt hij graag met een bal? Dan maken we daar lekker tijd voor. Is jouw hond sociaal en speelt hij graag met andere honden? Dan hebben we hier een fijn hondenparkje in de buurt waar honden veilig vrij kunnen rondlopen. Meer een echte wandelhond? Dan maak ik graag lange wandelingen door het park en de natuur. En als jouw hond daarvan houdt en het goed opbouwt, ga ik ook graag samen hardlopen. Ik probeer echt de ideale opvang te bieden waarbij jouw hond precies krijgt wat bij hem of haar past, of dat nu spelen, sociale uitdaging, rust of juist veel beweging is. Daarnaast ben ik veel thuis, waardoor honden zelden lang alleen zijn en veel aandacht krijgen gedurende de dag. Mocht ik even weg zijn voor bijvoorbeeld boodschappen, dan is er meestal alsnog iemand thuis. Hierdoor hoeft jouw hond eigenlijk nooit alleen te zijn. I came home to calm, happy, well-adjusted dogs, and I had complete peace of mind the entire time knowing my home and dogs were in wonderful hands.
