Mijn hele leven heb ik al een grote passie voor dieren, en honden in het bijzonder. Van jongs af aan ben ik opgegroeid met honden en heb ik altijd een sterke, natuurlijke band met ze gehad. Door de jaren heen heb ik veel ervaring opgedaan in het verzorgen, begeleiden en oppassen van honden van verschillende rassen, leeftijden en karakters. Zelf heb ik drie kleine honden die gewend zijn om met andere honden om te gaan. Ze zijn sociaal en goed gesocialiseerd, waardoor oppashonden zich vaak snel thuis voelen. Natuurlijk kijk ik altijd goed naar wat voor elke hond prettig is en of de honden bij elkaar passen. Als hondenoppas stem ik alles af op de behoeften van de hond. De ene hond vindt het heerlijk om actief bezig te zijn, terwijl de andere juist meer behoefte heeft aan rust en aandacht. We gaan dagelijks naar een losloopgebied en in de zomer ga ik, als de hond dat leuk vindt, graag met ze zwemmen. Alles gebeurt op hun eigen tempo, met genoeg ruimte voor ontspanning en gezelligheid. Mijn doel is dat jij als baasje met een gerust hart op vakantie kunt, wetende dat jouw hond het net zo fijn heeft als jij. Geen gemis of stress, maar plezier, aandacht en vertrouwde zorg, zodat zowel jij als je hond kunnen genieten van een fijne, ontspannen tijd.

Hondenliefhebber

Ik woon in een benedenhuis met een tuin in Scheveningen. Het strand, de duinen, het park en het bos liggen om de hoek. Hier ben ik vaak te vinden voor een wandeling. Het lijkt mij erg gezellig om jouw hond mee te nemen! De liefde voor honden is er altijd geweest maar helaas mochten wij vroeger zelf geen huisdieren. Daarom brachten wij altijd veel tijd door met de honden van familie en vrienden. Ik werk regelmatig vanuit huis. Hierdoor is het geen probleem om doordeweeks op te passen. Since my childhood, I've always felt a special affection for animals. My dream job was to become a vet! Unfortunately, I've never had my own dog because as a student I was afraid of not being able to provide fully for the dog. However, owning a dog is #1 on my to-do list once I settle things down and know I can dedicate myself to these loving animals. Hopefully the day will come soon... During my high school years, I walked and took care of my friends' dogs. Last year, I voluntarily walked with two dogs. Wij willen graag oppassen op honden passen die ouder zijn dan 3 jaar. Geen jonge honden. En onze voorkeur gaat uit naar een vrouwtje. Liever geen mannetjes.

I had my own mixed Labrador, Pepe, who peacefully passed away last August at the age of 13.5. Since then, I’ve truly missed having my best buddy beside me for hikes in nature and swims by the sea. I live in the center of The Hague, within walking distance of forests and parks. I also have a fenced garden with a parasol that provides shade during the summer months. I only accept vaccinated dogs and prefer calm, non-aggressive, and non-excessively barking dogs so the neighbors are not disturbed. I am especially patient with senior dogs and still have all the necessary support equipment from caring for my elderly Pepe. I generally prefer dogs staying longer than 5 days, as it takes time for them to feel comfortable and get to know me, and I enjoy building a real connection with the dogs I care for. While your dog is staying with me, you can expect regular photo and video updates from our forest walks and outdoor adventures. During weekends, I often drive to the beach so the dogs can play, explore, and enjoy the sea as well. Your dog will be cared for with patience, respect, and love, and I’m confident they will be in very good hands with me.

Dawn took great care of our dog while we were away. She gave him a lot of love and attention and I could tell by the videos he got comfortable really fast, to the point he wanted all attention for himself xD We are very grateful that she had the time and that Spico had a great time as well. I didn't feel the need to keep asking questions because Dawn seemed very reliable and good with dogs. Pepe is also a great company and a delight to be around. Also grateful to Pepe that he put up with our overly enthusiastic Spico who is indeed used to having all the attention, keeping his stuff his etc All in all, Dawn and Pepe are a great duo to take care of your dog while you are away!

Flexibele hondenoppas in Leiden

I'm working as a communication consultant for the government and often work from home. Jasper (the boyfriend) also has an office job, but he works at the actual office much more often. About the apartment The house is a calm place, as there are no other pets or children. Luckily, the Scheveningse Bosjes (meaning lots of fun and plenty of other dogs!) are just around the corner. If the schedule allows and they feel comfortable enough, I also love going for a walk on the beach. Important: the apartment is on the first floor. The staircase is very doable (it's not steep), but it's good to know. Practicalities - I'm flexible with my availability. - The response rate on my profile might be low because it was inactive. When I was living in Amsterdam, I found two addresses that regularly asked me to dog-sit for them. I've moved back to The Hague, and now that I'm all settled in, I'm looking forward to finding a new pet-sitting address.
