Hello dog lovers , I'm Jingyi (Matilda) from China. Note: ❣️ I am working in the office from Monday to Thursday per week at the moment. And working from home on Fridays. So I can only take full care of dogs on Fridays and weekends, or if you don’t mind the dogs stay at home during day time 9am to 6pm, I am more than willing to petsit them as well. For sure I will walk them before I leave the house and right after I come back from work. FYI - I live with a roommate - she’s also from China and she’s doing pet sitting too. Jingyi took really good care of our whippet pup Kira. Kira seemed to feel at home rather quickly and Jingyi asked many questions when we dropped by to make sure that Kira would have the best possible stay. Communication also was quick and clear. Vader heeft veel ervaring met honden en weet goed hoe hij met verschillende rassen en karakters moet omgaan. Moeder heeft iets minder ervaring, maar is oprecht dol op dieren en geniet van de gezelligheid die een hond in huis brengt. Het lijkt me leuk om te mogen zorgen voor uw hond en buiten te wandelen, te spelen, en te knuffelen (als zij dat ook willen natuurlijk!). Ik ben als student nog heel flexibel in mijn beschikbaarheid en zeer zorgvuldig in mijn planning zodat ik genoeg tijd kan maken voor jouw maatje :) Ik heb vroeger met mijn ouders een oude belgische herder uit het asiel in huis genomen om hem een leukere plek te geven tot zijn overlijden. Ik werkte destijds ook als vrijwilliger in het asiel bij de honden. Mijn opa had ook altijd een hond en ik vind het erg leuk om met honden te werken en hun persoonlijkheid beter te leren kunnen. Ik woon in Amsterdam Oost vlakbij park Frankendael op de begane grond, dus ook honden die moeite hebben met trappen zouden hier langs kunnen komen.

Hello there! After exploring different paths, I realized that my heart has always been with animals, so I decided to follow my childhood dream of working with them. I’m now a Clinical Animal Behavior student, and I couldn’t be more excited to turn something I love so much into my future career. I also volunteer at DOA, the largest animal shelter in the Netherlands, where I work with dogs from all kinds of backgrounds and personalities. I help with socialization, basic training, and supporting dogs with different behavioral needs. I’ve completed training focused on fearful and reactive dogs, as well as an 8-week course tailored to an individual dog’s needs. My sweetheart Milo crossed the rainbow bridge in June, and he’s the biggest reason I decided to follow this path. Spending time with other dogs is one of the ways I still feel close to him and I know he’d be happy to see me doing this. ❤️ Having loved Milo as much as I did, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. If it were up to us, we’d take them everywhere but sometimes that’s not possible. So no worries, I’ll treat them like my own and keep you updated with plenty of pictures and little updates along the way. 😊 I live with my boyfriend, and we both have flexible schedules. Our place is just 15 minutes from Vondelpark and close to two local dog parks, so your dog will have plenty of opportunities to sniff, explore, and have fun.
