Ik ben Elize, 32 jaar en woon met mijn vriend samen in de Rivierenbuurt. Ik ben een aantal weken geleden net mijn aller trouwste vriendin Lou verloren, mijn teckel met wie ik 5 jaar lang onafscheidelijk ben geweest. Ik werk voornamelijk vanuit huis en mis een vriendje hier in huis. Ik ben een ontzettende dierenvriend en houdt erg van wandelen. Ik vind het heerlijk om zowel in Amsterdam te wandelen als de honden af en toe mee te nemen naar het bos of het strand. Ik heb geen tuin maar wel een terras en woon 5 minuten lopen van het Beatrixpark. Ik heb voorkeur voor honden met een lief en rustig karakter. Ik kan de honden een fijn oppasverblijf geven en jullie hond zal in goede handen zijn.

I’m 25 and grew up with dogs my whole life. In my photo album, you’ll spot a little version of me with Bella, my first dog. She was a rescue, sweet, nervous, and the ultimate cuddle buddy. Not much of a fetch player though. Losing her was my first real heartbreak. Later came Otto, the fluffy white guy in the other photos. He’s my soulmate in dog form. We did everything together. Cooking, talking, lounging around. He would follow me from room to room like a shadow with a tail. Since moving abroad, I miss him more than anything. Right now I’m not in a place to have a dog of my own, but I really miss the company. I’ve looked after friends’ dogs here and there and thought, why not do it more often. I live with my boyfriend, who also loves dogs and works hybrid, mostly from home. Together, we share the care of any dogs I dog sit, making sure they receive plenty of attention and companionship. If one of us is away, the other is always there, so the dog is never left alone, and if they are, it is only for a very short time. His picture can be seen in the library with the other photos. Paula was available to dogsit Enzo in very short notice, and accomodated him amazingly. Not only was it very easy to communicate beforehand, on the day itself I received pictures and regular updates, he had nice long walks and loads of cuddles. When he came home, he was super happy and nice and tired of such a lovely day. Enzo will definitely be coming back, if they"ll have them. Thank you so much for the great care.

Downside is for sleepovers I have to bring my dog along, so that may be awkward. I can't travel super long distances, speifically during cold weather. As a particularly illustrative - i have a lot of experience with tame rats. This may be an option, but who would pay "for someone to watch a bunch of rats" ? I would like to evolve experience taking care of avids, such as crows, ravens, birds if prey - but that would a major undertaking. Parrots and such, I guess maybe...? Huisdieren liefhebber!

Van jongs af aan ben ik opgegroeid met honden en katten. Van een puberende meubilair opetende Saarlooswolfshond, rondrennende Bordercollie tot geadopteerde hondjes uit diverse landen.
